"You... what are you doing?!"

Seeing Jay suddenly grab his hands with that smug, mischievous grin, Skullshatterer was momentarily dumbfounded.

After all, they were clearly enemies. From Skullshatterer's perspective, Jay should have attacked him immediately.

Danger!

Though he didn't know what Jay was planning, Skullshatterer couldn't shake a sudden, overwhelming sense of danger surging in his chest.

Now that his weapons had been disarmed, the next step was obvious strip off his clothes.

Jay scanned Skullshatterer from head to toe and felt a prickling sense of unease.

Skullshatterer was wearing Ursus Internal Guard gear, bristling with strange devices. Any one of them could be a self-destruct bomb. It screamed danger. That outfit had to come off.

More than that, the shorts and slick black stockings below... now those were at least ten times more dangerous than the armor itself! They absolutely had to be removed. No telling what kind of chaos they could unleash.

Having made up his mind, Jay reached out and began yanking at Skullshatterer's clothes. But the gear was tough his first attempt failed.

"If that's how it is... then SPAR-TAAAA!!"

With a bellow, Jay activated his "Wrath of Sparta" skill. A sudden surge of power coursed through him.

Before Skullshatterer could react, Jay grabbed the collar of his gear and tore downward with all his might.

Rippp!!

"Yaaaahhhhhh!!!"

The tearing of fabric and Skullshatterer's scream echoed down the empty street.

"Jay!?"

"What in the world are you doing?!"

"Oh my god, this is... brutal!"

From inside the car, Exusiai, Texas, and the others gaped. On a nearby rooftop, Scout's team watched in stunned silence. All the Reunion forces surrounding them were frozen in disbelief as Jay mercilessly stripped Skullshatterer.

In moments, Jay had fully removed the Ursus Internal Guard armor from Skullshatterer's body.

Now, Skullshatterer stood wearing nothing but a pair of shorts.

Clang...

His oversized gas mask tumbled to the ground.

And with it, the truth was revealed.

Because Skullshatterer and Misha were twin siblings, the face beneath the mask looked exactly like hers. What appeared before Jay was an adorably handsome boy, the spitting image of Misha.

Um... why am I suddenly feeling guilty?

Jay, who had seen the story, already knew Skullshatterer was a guy. Stripping a guy wasn't all that strange to him.

But now, looking at that innocent face that resembled Misha's... a trace of guilt wormed into his heart.

Also... just a little excitement.

"Aaah... ahhhhhh..."

Utterly confused and disoriented from the sudden stripping, Skullshatterer fell into a dazed state of "enemy shame."

Meanwhile, on the rooftop, Scout's team.

"Captain Scout, what exactly... is Jay doing down there...?"

Thumbtack put down his binoculars and asked with visible confusion.

Compared to his bewildered teammates, Scout's expression was full of admiration.

"Hmph! Isn't it obvious? That Ursus gear was extremely dangerous. Who knows how many explosives or hidden traps it might contain? Jay stripped him to neutralize the threat. Simple as that."

"Makes sense... but..."

Thumbtack scratched his head.

"Why did Jay strip off the guy's stockings too? Could there be a bomb hidden in those?"

"Jay is a man of deep calculations. Every move he makes is deliberate. That's all we need to know."

Scout had complete faith in Jay one hundred percent.

Just then, Scout received a message from Jay.

After reading it, he stood and shouted to his team.

"That's enough chatter! Jay has intel! Our next mission is to provide cover and intercept all Reunion troops on the street! Buy time for the doctor's retreat!"

"Roger!"

At the same time, Jay dashed toward the vehicle with the bound Skullshatterer over his shoulder.

"W-Wait!"

"Put Skullshatterer down!"

"Stop him! Don't let him take our commander!"

The surrounding Reunion forces finally realized Jay's intent. They charged in.

If Skullshatterer was taken, their morale would plummet. They had to stop him.

"Hmph."

Jay scanned the charging enemies. He gently lowered Skullshatterer, formed hand seals with both hands, and took a deep breath. Chakra surged into his throat.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

A searing flame erupted from Jay's mouth.

"W-What?! What kind of technique is that?!"

"The doctor knows powerful Originium Arts too?!"

"Run! He'll roast us alive!"

Amid panicked screams, the advancing Reunion mob was driven back.

Even the operators from Rhodes Island were left wide-eyed by Jay's sudden jutsu.

And Jay didn't stop.

He took another deep breath and blew fire toward the barricade blocking the road.

Fueled by his abundant chakra, the flame exploded into a human-sized fireball that blasted the obstacle to bits.

With the way cleared and the enemies repelled, Jay slung the fully restrained Skullshatterer over his shoulder and returned to the car.

"Jay! What the heck are you doing now?! Who is that?!"

Amiya stared, completely dumbfounded.

Jay's recent actions had been so outrageous that she didn't even know where to begin criticizing.

"Amiya, this is Rhodes Island's future elite sniper!"

Jay proudly hoisted the bound Skullshatterer above his head like a prize.

"Mmmph! Mmmmphhhh!"

On his shoulder, Skullshatterer squirmed and grunted in muffled protest.

At the driver's seat, Texas narrowed her eyes at the bizarre scene.

So this is how Rhodes Island recruits people?

You just... kidnap enemy commanders on the street?
