Arlecchino let out a bitter chuckle, it seems she has grown soft and needed to retrain her self.

After confirming that this white material is indeed spider threads, she turned her gaze once more towards the stream.

It seems this stream is flowing down from the mountain range that she is heading to.

After taking a look around her once more, she started her journey again towards the mountain.

Along the way she still did not encounter any monsters or ghosts, after a long and tiring walk she arrived at the foot of the towering mountain range.

Gazing at the towering mountain range in front of her, Arlecchino once again turned her attention to the compass in her hand.

The compass was pointing towards a small forest path that seems to be leading towards the top of the mountain range.

"It's evening now, I must quicken my pace, if I can't reach the destination pointed to by the compass before nightfall, then I should at the very least find a place to camp for the night".

Arlecchino muttered to herself as she moved quickly but cautiously following the forest path up to the mountain.

After approximately an hour of walking, following the direction pointed to by the compass, the sun was almost about to set.

Arlecchino was already considering camping near the towering mountain wall on the right side of the the small forest path for the night and then continuing her journey tommorrow.

After thinking for a moment she no longer hesitated, it seems she won't be able to reach the place pointed to by the compass today, so it's best to camp here for the night.

Arlecchino observed her surroundings and found a small open area near the mountain wall.

Then she used chaos essence to enhance the toughness and sharpness of murasame and found a tree nearby that is shorter than most trees around her and in one swift slash she cut it down.

Afterwards, she carried the fallen tree to the small open area. Then she separated the tree trunk and other parts of the tree.

After that she used the leftover tree parts to create a small camp fire and placed the tree trunk near it.

By the time everything was done the sun had already set and it was night time.

"Sigh...."

Arlecchino sighed as she sat down on the tree trunk. After a long day of walking she can finally get some rest.

While resting she suddenly remembered, that she had received something called a [Pokémon Ticket], according to the systems explanation she knew it's a ticket used to summon something akin to a pet that can help her during battles.

Having a pet help her during battle did not sound that bad, after all she wasn't a person who cared about honour or fair play, she will use everything on hand to defeat her opponents.

Arlecchino opened the inventory and took out the 2 Pokémon tickets and the moment the tickets appeared in her hand the systems voice once again sounded in her mind.

The moment she chose "Yes", a holographic screen containing different Pokémon types appeard before her.

She carefully read through all the Pokémon types, and 4 types in particular caught her attention.

They were the [Fire - type], [Ghost - type], [Psychic - type] and [Dragon - type], especially, the [Dragon - type]. But she could only choose one type for each ticket, so after some careful thinking, in the end she chose the [Dragon type] and [Psychic type].

[Bagon]

Description: Bagon is a bipedal, blue, reptilian Pokémon vaguely resembling a Pachycephalosaurus.

It possesses a large, round snout, triangular eyes, yellow, circular ears similar to reptiles, and a yellow lower jaw with two teeth protruding upwards.

Three thick, gray ridges cover the top of its head and continue downwards to cover its neck as well. There is a triangular patch of yellow on its underside. It has stubby, digit-less arms and short legs with two toes on each foot.

Bagon is known to be rather solitary, preferring not to form groups with others of its kind.

Type: Dragon

[Ralts]

Description: Ralts is a humanoid Pokémon with a white body. It has thin arms and legs that widen toward the feet.

There is a wispy extension trailing off the back of its feet, creating the overall impression of a nightgown or oversized dress. Most of its face is covered by green hair that resembles a bowl cut, but a pair of pinkish-red eyes is sometimes visible. There are two flat, red horns on top of its head, a large one toward the front and a smaller one at the back.

Ralts uses the horns to read people and Pokémon's emotions.

Type: Psychic/ Fairy

Gender: Female

After the summonning process was completed two red and white balls fell in to Arlecchino's hands. This made her confused, wasn't she supposed to summon two Pokémon? So what's with these two balls?

[Let me explain host, these are commonly known in the Pokémon world as "Poké Balls", it is a device that can store Pokémon inside and release them to the outside world at the user will]

[These 2 Poké balls in particular have been improved in its durability and has an additional function of healing Pokémon who are stored inside them]

"I see, that's convenient"

Listening to the explanation of the system, Arlecchino pressed the 2 white buttons on the "Poké balls", instantly two Poké balls opened and with a burst of light, two small creatures appeard on the ground in front of her.

One of the little ones who the system identified as "Ralts" the moment it saw Arlecchino, Ralts let out a cute cry and rushed towards her and hugged her right leg rubbing it's head on her leg like a kitten.

Bagon on the other hand had a tougher personality, it did not approach Arlecchino like Ralts did, instead it intently stared at her.

It's gaze conveying it's emotions.

Arlecchino bent down and gently caressed Ralts head, this made it even happier as it hugged her leg harder letting out a cute cry.

Then she turned her gaze to Bagon, the moment their eyes met, it gave her a silent nod of approval.

Seeing the reaction of these two little ones, a smile appeared on Arlecchino's face, not the fake smile she used for political matters or negotiations, but a sincere smile.

These two little ones in a way reminded her of the children of the house of the hearth, these two are also still kids, still young.

And she always had a soft spot for children, even though she may seem cruel and ruthless on the outside, she cared deeply for children.
