Thomas Lysvand did not expect the blade to pierce his barrier that easily. It was as if the blade did not meet any resistance from the barrier he formed. Before he could make his next move, all hundred swords struck his body, legs, hands, and neck. His whole body was full of the black blade, and he realized that the sword messed up with his Void Energy as well as his natural regeneration.

He must get away from her right away before she froze him. However, he could not use any energy inside his body even though his whole body was made of Void Energy.

He tried to jump backward, but he could not move his legs as the bone-chilling pain assaulted his calf, and it spread out, reaching his thigh. He could not be killed, but he could be trapped in this ice. Then the image of Tang Shaoyang burnt part of his body came into his head, realizing that his enemy found out about the emperor's secret. They tried to capture him, not to kill him.
