Aryan: The Super Warrior

Chapter 5: 5. Awakening, the Serpent Core, and the Storage Ringed

Chapter 4: Awakening, the Serpent Core, and the Storage Ring

Aryan remained unconscious for an entire day and night. Only then did his consciousness finally return. Slowly, his heavy eyelids began to flutter open, and within moments, he was fully awake. As his vision cleared and his senses returned, the first realization that struck him was—he was still alive.

This simple fact filled him with immense astonishment.

When he had accepted his fate during the battle with the serpent, he had truly believed that death was inevitable. At that time, he was certain that no power in this world could save him. And yet, here he was—breathing, conscious, and somehow… whole.

Still lying on the ground, Aryan cautiously examined his body. What he discovered shocked him even more.

Every injury he had sustained from the serpent's brutal attack—every deep bite, every gash, every broken bone—was now fully healed. Not a single wound remained. Even the bones that had been shattered were now intact, perfectly mended.

Aryan knew enough about the human body to understand that this kind of recovery was impossible without expert medical attention. Under normal circumstances, it would have taken five or six years for his body to heal naturally, and that too with the help of advanced medicines and therapy. But now… it had only been a few hours, maybe a day.

This defied logic.

But Aryan didn't dwell too long on the impossible. He understood something fundamental: there was no point wasting time trying to comprehend miracles that were beyond his current understanding. So, instead of remaining on the ground, he decided to get up and leave that dreadful place.

As he stood on his feet and surveyed his surroundings, he noticed a translucent dome-like aura encasing him. It was as though some protective shield had been keeping him safe while he was unconscious. Aryan frowned in confusion. He had never seen such a thing before. But then, as he looked a bit further inside the shimmering dome, his eyes fell on a horrifying sight—the very serpent that had nearly killed him was lying inside the same dome.

Fear clenched his chest for a moment.

Was the serpent still alive?

Slowly, carefully, he walked toward it and observed the creature with cautious eyes. Upon closer inspection, he realized the serpent wasn't just dead—it had been cut cleanly in two.

It was only now that he noticed the serpent's severed form because the two halves had previously been positioned in a way that made it look intact. Aryan's heart pounded in his chest. Who—or what—could have done this? How had the mighty beast that nearly ended his life been slain?

His curiosity piqued, Aryan stepped closer and gently placed his hand on the serpent's body. As soon as he did, a surge of energy pulsed through him, and a magical book materialized in his mind.

It was the Library again.

Words began to fill the pages automatically, revealing detailed information about the serpent.

> **Beast Type**: Water Serpent

> **Cultivation Level**: Mortal Realm – Stage Six (Peak)

> **Habitat**: Aquatic regions such as ponds, lakes, and waterfalls

> **Age**: 15 years (Young Adult)

> **Description**: This serpent species lives its entire life in water and grows more powerful with time. Upon reaching adulthood, it can achieve the peak of Stage Eight in the Mortal Realm.

> **Status**: Dead

Aryan was stunned. This creature, which had almost taken his life, wasn't just a snake—it was classified as a *beast*. The word confused him.

"What does 'beast' even mean?" he mumbled aloud. In his fifteen years of life on Earth, the only time he had heard the word "beast" was in the title of a movie—*Beauty and the Beast*—which he hadn't even watched. So, naturally, the term didn't hold any significance to him.

He brushed the thought aside and turned his attention to the serpent once more.

Then suddenly, like a thunderbolt in his brain, a realization struck him. He slapped his forehead and groaned.

"How could I be so foolish?" he exclaimed.

"If I had just used the Heavenly Library during the battle to identify the serpent's weaknesses, I could have defeated it easily!"

It was true. Had Aryan thought to use the mystical powers of the library in time, he could have uncovered the serpent's vulnerabilities and taken more effective action. But there was no use regretting now. What was done, was done.

Still, he made a silent vow to himself:

> *"From now on, whenever I face an enemy—human or beast—I will always use the Heavenly Library first. I won't let my ignorance put me in danger again."*

Taking a deep breath, Aryan pushed those thoughts into a quiet corner of his mind. Now was not the time for self-pity. He bent down to inspect the serpent further, this time with scientific curiosity.

His eyes wandered toward the serpent's mouth.

Without hesitation, he picked up a sharp stone and carefully cut open the creature's jaw. The act required considerable effort, but with his newly regained strength, Aryan managed to split open the serpent's head. He wasn't a biology expert, but curiosity burned in his heart—he wanted to understand what secrets lay hidden inside the enormous body of such a powerful beast.

As he dissected the serpent, he carefully examined its internal organs. Eventually, something peculiar caught his eye.

Near the heart was a small, perfectly spherical object glowing faintly.

Aryan's breath caught in his throat. What was that?

He reached out and carefully extracted it. Holding it in his hands, he murmured the magical word again: "*Kamiyan.*"

The moment he said it, another book manifested in his consciousness, detailing the nature of the object.

> **Item Identified**: Beast Core

> **Beast**: Water Serpent

> **Core Function**: This core contains all the beast's spiritual energy. It can be used by doctors to create powerful antidotes against poisons. The core is equivalent to a human's Dantian in function.

Reading this stunned Aryan.

He never imagined that such a thing could exist—that a single orb could contain an entire creature's spiritual essence. And even more, that it could be used to fight poison. But he didn't dwell too long on the implications. Instead, he stored the core in his pouch and turned his attention to the dome-like aura surrounding him.

He walked up to the barrier and gently placed his hand on it.

The moment his fingers touched its surface, it vanished without resistance—like mist dispersed by the wind.

Aryan was even more baffled now. Had this shield truly been real? Or had it all been a figment of his imagination?

What Aryan didn't know was that the barrier had been placed there by his mother's soul—a final gift, programmed to disappear the moment her son awakened and touched it.

Still puzzled, Aryan stepped away and made his way through the jungle. After walking a short distance, he arrived once again at the same waterfall where all of this had begun.

This time, without hesitation, he jumped into the water.

To his surprise, nothing unusual happened. No strange visions, no overwhelming spiritual force. He simply plunged into the depths, letting gravity guide him downwards.

He was determined to find out just how deep the waterfall truly was.

After diving for nearly four straight minutes, he finally reached the bottom. He saw nothing particularly strange—just a natural rock basin filled with pebbles, boulders, and aquatic debris.

Satisfied, he prepared to ascend. But then, something caught his eye—a faint golden gleam, partially buried among the stones.

Aryan swam toward it and picked up a small, yellowish ring.

It didn't look extraordinary. In fact, it appeared to be nothing more than a simple gold band. But Aryan felt compelled to keep it. Slipping it onto his finger, he swam back to the surface.

Once out of the water, he examined the ring again. Still, nothing special. Just an ordinary golden ring—or so it seemed.

But curiosity got the better of him.

He whispered again, "*Kamiyan.*"

Another magical book appeared.

> **Item Identified**: Storage Ring (Grade 1 – Peak)

> **Function**: Allows storage of inanimate objects. Interior volume: 5 cubic meters. To activate ownership, drop a single drop of your blood onto the ring.

Aryan blinked, stunned.

A ring that could store objects? Was that even possible?

His logical mind resisted the idea. In the modern world he came from, nothing like this existed. It felt like something out of a video game or fantasy movie.

Still, he had learned to trust the Library.

"If the Library says it's true, then it must be," he muttered.

With that, he pricked his finger and let a few drops of blood fall onto the ring.

Instantly, he felt a deep, mysterious connection with it. Like a door opening in his consciousness, he could now *see* inside the ring.

His mouth fell open.

The interior was lined with stacks of golden coins—thousands of them. In one corner, a collection of ancient-looking books rested neatly, their titles glowing faintly. These were cultivation manuals, combat techniques, and mystical arts. In another corner, he spotted various rare-looking herbs and mysterious tools.

Aryan wanted to try something.

He thought: *Bring me one gold coin.*

And just like that, a gold coin appeared in his palm.

He gaped in disbelief.

Then he thought again: *Return it.*

The coin vanished instantly, reappearing inside the ring.

"This is unbelievable," he whispered.

"Today alone, I've been shocked more times than in my entire life combined…"

Still overwhelmed, Aryan took a deep breath, bathed properly in the waterfall, and changed his clothes. His old ones were torn beyond repair. Thankfully, there was a spare set in the ring, perfectly suited to his size.

Once ready, he began walking in a random direction, determined to find human civilization.

His heart beat with a new purpose.

> Would he be able to escape the jungle unscathed?

> Or would fate throw more beasts and dangers his way?

To find out, stay tuned for the next chapter of *Aryan the Super Warrior*.
