I saw Alucard carrying an unconscious Asia in his arms.
"Take her home and make sure she's okay. I'll deal with these two," I said, gesturing toward the fallen angels.
Alucard nodded without a word and flew off, disappearing into the night with Asia safely in his arms. I turned back to the rogues, my eyes narrowing as an idea struck me.
This was the perfect chance to test the tranquilizers I'd made earlier. Summoning two syringes, I plunged the needles into their necks, watching as the sedatives took effect almost instantly. Their bodies slumped, completely unconscious.
"Too easy," I muttered before hoisting them over my shoulders and heading to Azazel's place.
….
Surprisingly, finding Azazel's location hadn't been difficult. He wasn't exactly hiding, and after wandering through a few streets, I stumbled upon a building practically radiating magic. Approaching the entrance, I knocked firmly a few times.
The door creaked open, and there he was—calm and composed as ever. I wasted no time activating Observe.

I swallowed nervously. Okay… note to self—don't piss him off.
Azazel leaned casually against the doorframe, but his eyes were sharp. "Can I help you?"
I matched his gaze. "Yes, actually. You can, Governor of the Fallen Angels."
His relaxed demeanor vanished. He straightened, his expression turning serious in an instant.
"How do you know that?"
Instead of answering, I tilted my head toward the two rogues slumped at his doorstep. "First, I believe these belong to you."
Azazel's gaze flicked to them, and he sighed. "Bring them inside."
Small ….
I sat across from Azazel, who leaned back in his chair, studying me intently.
"So," he began, his voice calm but firm, "how exactly do you know who I am?"
I shrugged. "Let's just say I have my secrets, and you have yours."
To my surprise, that answer seemed to amuse him.
"Fair enough," Azazel said, leaning forward. "And who are you, exactly?"
"My name's Shiro. I'm fifteen years old, boyfriend of Koneko, Rias Gremory's rook—and, as you probably know, Rias is the younger sister of one of the Great Devil Kings."
Azazel's eyes widened slightly. "Well, you certainly know your stuff."
"More than you'd think," I replied, keeping my tone casual. "But right now, I'm here to make sure these two are dealt with appropriately."
"Don't worry," Azazel assured me. "They'll face consequences. Though, I have to ask—what happened to the third one?"
"Dead."
Azazel arched a brow. "And I assume you killed him?"
I nodded. "Self-defense. He would've hurt my girlfriend if I hadn't stopped him."
Azazel seemed to consider that for a moment before speaking again. "So, let me guess—you didn't just bring them here out of the kindness of your heart. What do you want in return?"
I paused, pretending to think it over. "Hmm… honestly, I hadn't really thought about it, but now that you mention it, a few books on magic wouldn't hurt."
Azazel chuckled. "Magic, huh? So you're a magician?"
I shook my head. "Not quite. I use magic, but I also prefer close combat."
Azazel's smirk grew. "Interesting. And if you had to fight Rias and her peerage, what do you think would happen?"
"They'd lose," I said without hesitation.
Azazel let out a short laugh. "I thought so." Then his tone shifted slightly. "You're strong, no doubt about that. But I'm still trying to figure out whether you're a threat."
I met his gaze, letting my aura rise just enough to make my presence felt. "Are you planning to hurt my friends?"
Azazel leaned back and folded his arms. "No."
I relaxed and smirked. "Then you're spared."
Azazel chuckled, raising an eyebrow as he reached for a bottle of Irish whiskey.
"You're a funny kid. You drink?"
I smirked, leaning back in my seat. "I'm fifteen. Of course, I drink."
Azazel grinned and pulled out two glasses, pouring us both a generous amount.
"Now you're speaking my language," I said, watching the amber liquid swirl in the glass.
"Been meaning to find a drinking buddy," Azazel replied.
I raised my glass. "Bottoms up."
Azazel mirrored my gesture. "Salute."
Skill Acquired: Alcohol Resistance – Level 1/100
I took the first sip, letting the burn wash down my throat before exhaling with a satisfied grin.
"Aw, that's the stuff," I said.
Azazel nodded in agreement. "You said it."
….
Twenty-seven shots later, the room swayed slightly as Azazel leaned back in his chair, glass in hand.
"You're a great guy," Azazel slurred, his words slightly drawn out.
"Nah, yous is," I shot back, matching his drunken tone.
Alcohol Resistance has leveled up: 28/100
Azazel's head slumped onto the table, completely passed out.
I stumbled to my feet, barely managing to keep my balance. "I'm going to school."
Third-Person POV
Shiro staggered into the school, his steps uneven as he made his way toward the student council room.
Inside, Sona was finishing up a report based on the information Alucard had provided about the fallen angel incident. She looked up when the door creaked open and saw Shiro step inside.
"Ah, Shiro. Alucard already gave me the report about what happened, but—"
Her words trailed off as she noticed something… off. She stood up and approached him.
"Shiro… are you okay?"
He swayed slightly, grinning lazily. "Sona… where's the dragon at?"
Her eyes widened in shock. "Wait, are you drunk?!"
"Nooo, I'm not drunk," Shiro said, dragging out the words as he leaned against the doorframe.
Yes, you are, Sona thought, pinching the bridge of her nose. "How about you go lie down for a bit?"
Before he could argue, she took his hand and led him into the side room. But just as she turned to leave, she felt him grab her wrist.
"What are you—"
Shiro pulled her down onto the bed and wrapped his arms around her before promptly passing out.
"Sh-Shiro!" Sona stammered, her face burning red.
All she got in response was a soft snore.
I'll have to scold him when he wakes up, she thought, sighing as she resigned herself to the situation.
…. – Shiro's POV
As I started to wake up, I felt something warm and soft in my arms. My half-awake brain decided to pull it closer before I finally cracked my eyes open.
My heart sank.
I can't catch a break, can I?
"S-Sona?!" I yelped, scrambling to sit up.
She gave me a sharp look, crossing her arms. "Oh, did someone finally wake up after passing out drunk?"
Shit.
"Uh…" I stammered, backing away.
Before I could make a run for it, Sona pinched my ear and pulled me back.
"Oh no, you're not going anywhere until I give you a proper scolding."
…. – One Scolding Later
I sat there rubbing my ear while Sona stood with her arms crossed, clearly satisfied with her lecture.
"Now, what did you learn?"
"Not to drink," I mumbled.
"And are you going to do it again?"
"No, ma'am," I replied, hanging my head.
"Good." She reached for her phone. "By the way, I already called Koneko and told her what happened."
My blood ran cold. "I don't want to die."
Sona smirked. "Stay here until she comes. I'm guessing you'll be getting another scolding from her."
"Probably," I muttered, leaning back in the chair and dreading the incoming storm.
