As an Uchiha I became the Jinchuriki of Senju Tobirama

Chapter 251: Chapter 251: Where Legends Walk, Fools Perish

For a time, Danzo and Orochimaru were on par…

"Orochimaru, stop resisting. Hand over your power. There's no more time to waste!"

Danzō's voice was cold and sinister, but the words he spoke were cloaked in righteousness: "Both the Shinobi World and Konoha are suffering under the calamity brought about by the Uchiha clan. Only I still have a chance to save everything!"

He was making bold claims—because Kazuki wasn't present. What was there to be afraid of?

Indeed, Kazuki wasn't there.

But three Mangekyō Sharingan were silently watching everything unfold from nearby.

Uchiha Obito and Uchiha Madara narrowed their eyes in unison.

To speak so arrogantly about the Uchiha clan… this man was doomed.

Uchiha Izuna fixed his gaze on Shimura Danzō. He sifted through the intelligence in his mind, matching it to this particular individual…

Wasn't this the disciple of that bastard?

The one who claimed to carry on Tobirama's will—once a Konoha elder and the leader of Root.

Don't mention it...

This was a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Originally, the plan was to capture Orochimaru, who had inherited forbidden techniques from Tobirama…

And now Shimura Danzō had stumbled into their hands too!

Though that old fossil didn't seem to have much value…

For Uchiha Izuna, it was a different story.

He could extract valuable intelligence on Tobirama from Danzō!

Even though Tobirama was already dead…

For Izuna, gathering intel on him had practically become a hobby—even after being resurrected.

That bastard—how exactly had he oppressed the Uchiha clan? How did he run Konoha?

And the position of Root leader, which Kazuki currently held—Izuna wanted to understand what kind of organization it truly was.

All of this was worth digging into.

"Shimura Danzō, spare me the laughable speeches…"

Orochimaru sneered as he glanced at Danzō's severed arm, and said coldly: "Do you still think you're the Hokage's advisor? The leader of Root? Still using that arrogant tone out of habit? Looks like your two-plus years in prison haven't taught you a thing about reality…"

"You're nothing but a stray mutt chasing the dream of becoming Hokage. Without the status and authority granted to you by Konoha, you're nobody!"

Danzō's expression twisted instantly.

Damn—why did that sound so harsh and yet so true?

Uchiha Izuna gave a faint smile. This kid Orochimaru sure had a sharp tongue…

Just as the two were about to continue their fight—

Uchiha Izuna, Uchiha Madara, and Uchiha Obito—

The three of them appeared before them, each of their eyes radiating chilling power with their unique Mangekyō patterns.

Danzō and Orochimaru froze in place, their hand seals left incomplete.

They knew all three of these men!

The Shura of the Shinobi World… the lifelong nemesis of Senju Tobirama… and the earliest Uchiha prodigy to awaken the Three Tomoe Sharingan!

Danzō spun around suddenly. "Genjutsu?"

Orochimaru ignored the brain-dead Danzō.

His expression turned grim. He had known the ninja world was murky—but not this murky…

Not only was Tobirama stirring up chaos in Konoha…

But behind the scenes, the Uchiha clan had hidden such a terrifying force!

Madara wasn't dead, Izuna was alive too, and even Obito had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan—and the three were clearly working together. What the hell was going on!?

Even someone as composed as Orochimaru couldn't keep his mind from spiraling at that moment!

Only then did Danzō finally realize this wasn't an illusion!

But no matter how hard he tried to make sense of it, he couldn't understand—how were these two Uchiha, who had been slain by Hashirama and Tobirama, still alive?

While both men stood frozen in shock—

Uchiha Izuna instantly appeared in front of them.

His crimson eyes locked onto Orochimaru first.

In that instant, within Orochimaru's spiritual world—

Massive iron spikes pierced through his body, and after already suffering spiritual torment at the hands of 'Tobirama', his soul now endured the torture of Izuna's genjutsu!

With just one look, Orochimaru collapsed.

And this entire moment was recorded by a trace of ocular power hidden deep within Orochimaru's mind.

Amidst this life-or-death crisis, Danzō finally snapped out of his stupor. In a single instant, countless thoughts flashed through his mind. He suddenly tore open the front of his shirt—revealing a dense array of sealing marks across his chest. He was about to spit out a torrent of ink—

"Reverse Four Symbols Sealing!"

"You wicked Uchiha devils! Let me cleanse you for the sake of peace in the ninja world!" Danzō roared.

"You think you have the right to say that, brat?"

Izuna cast a cold glance at the forbidden technique Danzō was about to unleash. The Mangekyō pattern in his eyes began to spin—"Mangekyo Technique: Kanrō!"

Uchiha Obito watched the scene unfold with unwavering focus…

This was his first time witnessing Uchiha Izuna's dōjutsu—Kanrō, which seemed capable of countering Kamui!

From Danzō's chest, an icy barrier spread in an instant, freezing over his body. The impending Reverse Four Symbols Sealing technique came to an abrupt halt.

Just moments ago, the 'Darkness of the Shinobi' had been filled with overwhelming momentum—now he had become a bizarre ice sculpture.

His entire body was motionless. Even his chakra seemed frozen—completely undetectable.

Uchiha Izuna gently tapped Danzō's skull.

[Crack!]

His head fell cleanly to the ground, producing a crisp clatter.

Uchiha Obito gave a thoughtful nod and silently mused: 'No wonder Uchiha Izuna dares to ride alongside my Kamui without fear of being trapped in my other dimension…'

'Freezing chakra and space—it actually restrains my defensive Kamui.'

Then Obito realized something was off and corrected his own thinking: 'No, no eye technique can fully counter the Mangekyō left to me by Rin… it's more of a mutual negation. My offensive Kamui distorts space, so it can cancel out the freeze to some degree…'

Behind Uchiha Madara, Black Zetsu observed Obito's thoughtful expression with quiet satisfaction.

Finally…

Finally, he's starting to use his brain!

"I say, Orochimaru—would you be interested in collaborating on a research project with us?"

Still holding Danzō's severed head, Uchiha Izuna politely dispelled the genjutsu and said in a gentle voice, "Don't worry—our Uchiha clan has always treated scientific talent with respect."

Orochimaru endured the mental agony caused by the genjutsu and forced a smile. "I'd be honored."

Under the gaze of three Mangekyō Sharingan, the thought of escape never even crossed Orochimaru's mind.

He wasn't sure if he'd be lucky enough to survive again…

Or rather—it might not have been luck at all. Even Orochimaru himself sometimes suspected that his white snake clone had never truly escaped Kazuki's watchful eye… perhaps Kazuki had simply shown him mercy.

Maybe it was because of his past service in Root?

After all, Kazuki was a superior who honored his promises—he even personally sent Orochimaru the Senjutsu tomes from Ryūchi Cave.

Though, in his current state with a damaged soul, Orochimaru could no longer train…

And Uchiha Izuna and the other Mangekyō users—could they possibly be as patient as Kazuki?

Clearly, at least not with him.

Especially when Madara's eyes gleamed with that terrifying ripple pattern, and he dragged Danzō's soul out with his bare hand—at that moment, Orochimaru extinguished any lingering thoughts of resistance.

This ninja world was just too horrifying.

Madara wasn't just alive—he had even awakened the legendary Rinnegan!

Orochimaru's mind raced. He recalled a red-haired boy he had met during the Second Great Ninja War—someone whom Jiraiya had taken in as a student. That boy had possessed the same eyes as Madara.

Was that really just a coincidence?

After seeing Tobirama—hiding inside Kazuki's body, wielding both the Sharingan and the Sword of Totsuka—Orochimaru absolutely refused to believe it was mere coincidence!

These powerful figures from the Warring States era… none of them had ever truly left the stage of the ninja world.

Once, Orochimaru had thought the shinobi world was dull. From the chaos of the Warring States period to the so-called one-village-per-nation system, it all seemed like surface-level change masking the same stagnation.

He had wanted to break free from that cycle—to become a new wind that would stir the stagnant world.

But today, Orochimaru finally understood—

He had been far too naive!

This ninja world was like a dark forest—silent and unchanging on the surface, but beneath it lurked countless hidden hands, amassing strength in secret… all waiting for the final battle.

Young and impatient people like him were nothing but pawns on the board.

Orochimaru trembled—thrilled and terrified.

This world was far too fascinating!
