Ascension To Inhuman

A snowy night had befallen upon the world.

A man was slowly walking towards a cave that resembled the maw of a predator waiting for its prey to invite themselves to their doom,and most would say this is indeed what the man was doing.

After all he was about to enter a gate,The gate of hell.

And yet his face was calm and devoid of emotion, more like a lifeless puppet than a human.He called himself kcrow for he had never been given a name.

The man wore no garments on him leaving his considerably muscular and extremely lean body exposed,despite not being tall at a height of 5.7 he had very long arms,legs hands and feet,His hands possesed a lot of veins and his knuckles were pointy.

His face was very robust with sharp brown colored eyes,dark low set eyebrows,a slightly wide nose that wasn't long,high set cheekbones, hollowed out cheeks, a thick neck,a sharp angular jawline and long canines.

His hair wasn't long but also not short and it possesed very dark coloring and his skin was of tan complexion resembling a child of a dark skinned parent and a white skinned one.

He had somewhat creepy appearance and his gaze only amplified that creepiness.

As he reached the entrance of the cave he spotted a strange black hole a bit further from his location.He looked towards it momentarily and proceeded to walk towards it with calm steps and then extended his hand to touch it,soon after the world turned black and he felt weightless as he was traveling across space,but soon the weight returned along with unbearable pain,for most that is.

For him it was something he was used to and because of this he was able to spot huge animal approaching him.

It looked to be a Kodiak Bear,the animal arrived next to him and launched a strike with its paws that he dodged by falling back slightly and then shifted into a sideways stance while simultaneously moving forward to the left and going past the animal's arms.

He then jumped on it's back and gouged its eyes out.

The animal roared in pain and Kcrow jumped off its back and retreated backwards while watching the bear,the animal did not seem to have the intention of attacking again and seemed extremely disoriented.

As kcrow was carefully eyeing the animal he could hear some trembling sounds,

Right afterwards the ground ruptured and he fell underground.

As he landed on the floor he saw a bony hand coming in his direction,seemingly trying to cause harm,therefore he stepped backwards and properly glanced at the creature that was attacking him.

A skeleton of around the height of an average man,with flames coming out of its hollow eyesockets.

The skeleton was holding a one handed Sword in its right hand,the thing kept attacking him and he kept falling back until it performed a thrust straight at him which he parried with his left hand and then picked up the creature by its right leg and slammed it on the wall with the right side in its direction breaking its arms.

The sword fell to the ground and Kcrow quickly picked it up.

Without delay he grabbed the sword by the blade and struck the another skeleton coming towards him in the head smashing it apart,only to see that another one was right behind it followed by a horde of the Abominations.

He glanced behind him to see nothing but darkness and a dark tunnel at the right side ,he then proceeded to take a step back as the skeleton leading the horde arrived in front of him and attacked him with a spear.

Kcrow stepped forward to the right side while blocking the spear with his sword's strong part and sliced in between the bones of the creature's neck before realining his blade to attack the skeleton at its right side and fell back towards the tunnel while parrying a katana coming from his left side and struck the skeleton with the pommel of his blade crushing it's head.

As he barely reached the tunnel 4 of the creatures had reached his previous spot,he had came to the tunnel as it was narrow enough that only 2 of the creatures could fit into it at the same time.

He blocked a mace while simultaneously kicking back a skeleton towards another at the back,Kcrow then stepped towards the duo and sliced both of their necks at the same time before turning his body sideways and jumping back in the direction of the mace wielder who was in the middle of an attack and cut its arms before dropping the sword and holding the mace in his hands,said mace which he used to smash onto the now armless monster leading it crashing onto the ground.

He kept repeating the process of falling back and destroying a skeleton until he exited the tunnel and reached a dead end as there was a massive hole on the ground.

He could see nothing in the hole and neither could hear anything.

He had to decide between jumping in the hole or facing the skeletons which now could attack him 4 at a time.

'There are still at least 47 of those things.'

Kcrow jumped into the wall and went in direction of the horde,he put his right foot atop the head of a unarmed skeleton that was next to the left wall and then jumped into the wall again landing in the head of a chain wielding skeleton,he waited for the skeleton to raise its arms and smashed them with his mace before quickly grabbing the chain and jumping back to the unarmed skeleton and then the ground.

Kcrow went towards the hole and Dropped the sword into the hole,he soon heard it colliding with solid ground.

Without hesitation he jumped into the hole and soon made land.

He then quietly ran in his tiptoes and laid down on the ground once reaching a wall.

Kcrow heard the skeletons make landing but couldn't see them.

'Fortunately they don't seem to be able to see me either.'

Kcrow then listened for the noises made by the creatures to locate their position and when there seemed to be a suitable path without enemies he got up and started walking quietly back to the wall in which he landed next to and threw the chain which possesed a hook like thing upwards into a small hole he had seen before,pulled it and confirmed it was stuck.

He then started climbing the chain as fast as he could and managed to get out of the hole without being caught by the skeletons.

He went into the tunnel again and after exiting it followed the darkness opposite to where the skeletons emerged.

He ran into another dead end and spotted a hole in ceiling with stairs leading to it.

He climbed the stairs and reached the hole before starting a long climb upwards,while climbing he had to fend off strange bee like bugs that kept pestering him.

Reaching the end of the hole Kcrow climbed into the ground and reached another floor before looking in all the directions and noticing that only one path wasn't barred by walls,he followed that path and after a while he started seeing light again and eventually reached a door which had torches in both sides,he tried to open the door to no avail and then approached a stone which had a mark in the shape of a hand,Kcrow touched the mark and suddenly his hand got stuck in it,his attempts to get it out resulted in failure therefore he had to wait.

After waiting for 25 or so minutes the door opened and he could finally set his hand free.

Kcrow hesitated before walking to the door and pushing it slightly,he looked through the gap and could see a room full of what seemed like treasures.

He proceeded to enter the room and heard a voice saying the following "You may choose one treasure amongst the ones in the treasury."

He walked around the treasury analyzing the treasures and something caught his attention.

It was a black coffin adorned with gold patterns,He knew what it was.

Kcrow then got into the coffin,laid down and closed it.Soon after he lost conscience...

Regaining conscience he found himself on the surface.

The surface wasn't like he had left it before...
