Chapter 172 Divine Favored
"Impossible!"
Ed's tone was firm and forceful as he raised the warhammer toward Misha, angrily declaring, "We shield dwarves were born from the flames of the forge, our bones harder than the finest steel, never will we submit to evil ones!
Even if I die today, in a few hundred years, the descendants of the shield dwarves will reclaim the land that belongs to us and wage war for revenge against that evil dragon!"
Seemingly having anticipated Ed's resolute response, Misha raised her eyebrow without a hint of anger, coldly stating, "If you are so unaware of your own limitations, don't blame us for turning ruthless.
Whether you are children of the mountains, people of the earth, or descendants of the Sun God, before the Ashen Empire, you are nothing but a bunch of ashes soon to be burned out!"
"Awooooo—"
Stieg let out a roar, yelling at Ed, "Miss Misha, there's no need to waste words with this damned dwarf, kill him!"
Misha gently nodded, first closing her eyes, then slowly opening them, as dazzling light shone from her golden vertical pupils, and an illusory dragon eye appeared in mid-air.
It was the [Heaven's Calamity Dragon Eye], which possessed the short-term ability to predict the future and could use it as a medium to emit Dragon Breath.
Immediately, broad dragon wings unfurled behind Misha, emanating a nearly tangible Dragon's Might, with stardust-like scales swirling around her body.
Energy Scales, Enhanced Attributes, Agile as a Dragon, Protective Energy Damage, Aerial Maneuver Technique, and numerous enchantment magics were blessed upon her—this was the same set of "Monkey Play" as used by the former Cassius.
"Such a powerful magician..." Sensing the intense spell waves, Ed couldn't help but tighten his grip on the warhammer, murmuring to himself.
With total concentration, Ed plunged into the battle, as the threat posed by this seemingly frail girl far surpassed that of the enormous, sinister Bipedal Wyvern.
The storm filled with sand and dust rose up once more, blurring the surroundings of the Dwarf King and further energizing the Earth Elemental forces.
Misha, looking down from her height at the Dwarf King, extended her delicate hand, in the palm of which a massive and scorching fireball brewed, her voice indifferent, "Those who resist the Empire...shall be destroyed!"
"Boom!"
A scorching pillar of fire pierced through the air, striking like Divine Punishment from the sky, heading toward the silhouette within the sandstorm.
That was the Eighth Tier Spell Sunflame Burst!
Infused with the Dragon Bloodline and the power of the Child of the Elements, Misha's Sunflame Burst was no less powerful than Ninth Tier Spells, causing the air around to ripple.
Stieg also dove down from above, claws and fangs directed at the sandstorm, seeking revenge for the arrow that had just struck.
"Crack!"
Ed struck the ground with the warhammer, his body merging with the earth, as if diving into the sea, swiftly moving through the rocks underground.
That was the Earth Manipulation Technique!
Misha's Sunflame Burst and Stieg's swooping attack both missed, only creating molten rock pits on the ground.
Ed had vanished without a trace, but Misha remained unperturbed, relying on the [Foresight] ability of Heaven's Calamity Dragon Eye to precisely predict the opponent's next move and prepare in advance.
"Boom!"
Sure enough, the ground beneath Misha's feet suddenly cracked open, and a sharp rock great sword emerged, followed closely by the dwarf swinging the warhammer!
"Evil Dragon Retainers, meet your end!"
However, Misha had anticipated this, and with a sudden swing of her broad dragon wings, she ascended into the air, simultaneously stirring a wave of scorching hot wind, creating a turbulent cloud of white-hot ashes high above.
Cloud-Burning Spell!
The boiling smoke burned the eyes of the dwarf and obscured his vision, allowing Misha to unleash an even more powerful spell.
She pointed a delicate finger to the sky, then swiftly slashed downward, the firelight within her golden slit eyes flickering brilliantly.
"Whoosh—"
With the lament of the sky, a blazing meteor plummeted vertically to the ground, creating a terrifying explosion that engulfed a hundred meters, turning everything within the Cloud-Burning Spell's area to ashes.
That was the Ninth Tier Spell—Meteor Burst!
"Boom—"
The earth roared and trembled, the entire Aivendel City shaking violently.
Burning rocks flew in all directions, the sky was shrouded in thick black smoke, the ground filled with boiling smoke clouds, countless flowing flames, and sparks danced among them, presenting an apocalyptic scene.
"God..."
"Lord Ed!"
The dwarves in Aivendel City, still fiercely resisting, were attracted by the immense force, their flame-reflecting eyes full of anxiety and concern.
"Awoo! That dwarf must be reduced to ash now!" Seeing this scene, Stieg snapped his tail excitedly, unable to hold back a gleeful howl.
But Misha still wore a grave expression, shaking her head, and said, "No, he's not so easily killed, this battle... is far from over."
The air was filled with a pungent, turbulent smoke, resembling the metallic stench of ore in the ground.
Within that smoke, a familiar silhouette still stood, a heavy voice resonating, "I said... Dwarves are born from Father God Moradin's forge, never will we fear flames! Shield dwarves never yield!"
"Boom!"
The figure within the smoke suddenly raised the warhammer in hand, letting out a thunderous roar.
Instantly, a wild wind swept across the ground, dispersing the thick smoke completely, replaced by a terrifying sandstorm, engulfing a hundred meters in a whirling, fierce vortex smashing against rock and earth.
Misha squinted slightly, using the ability of Heaven's Calamity Dragon Eye to observe Ed's true form.
