Ashen Dragon

Chapter 83: Molten Iron and Heavy Cavalry_3

"In the name of Moradin! Dwarves shall never be enslaved!"

Before the echoes of the Dwarf King's words faded, hundreds of tons of hammer-shaped rocks coalesced in the air, and with the swing of his Warhammer, the colossal boulders thundered down alongside it.

"Boom!"

The ground collapsed, and fragments of rock scattered in all directions.

The resultant shockwave from the impact, carrying with it wind and sand, caused the land within a hundred-meter radius to tremble.

That squad of more than two hundred Orcs was completely buried beneath the layers of rock, turned into indistinct masses of gore, even melding into each other.

With merely one strike, hundreds of Orcs were sent to the Nishak Kingdom of Gush. Yet, the battle was far from over. The Dwarf King even broke away from the ranks of the Heavy Cavalry to charge alone into the midst of the Beastman Army.

Wherever he went, sandstorms raged, and rocks flew chaotically, and those who dared approach were smashed into fragments by the bloodstained Warhammer.

In just a few charges, the nearly ten thousand Orcs besieging the city walls were slaughtered almost to the last, and for a time, no Orc dared come close.

This was the Dwarf King, held in high regard by Bards as "Master of High Mountains," "Furnace Controller."

——Ed Klein.

A powerful Legendary Warrior wielding the "Rock Hammer," said to be personally forged by Moradin, clad in armor passed down through generations of the Shield Dwarves Royal Family.

It was this Dwarf King who, a century ago, saved the High Mountain Kingdom.

In that battle, Ed almost single-handedly held off the Divine Descendant of Holy Fadlan, compelling that old Emperor to utterly abandon the idea of enslaving Dwarves.

And now, history seemed poised to repeat itself.

"Moradin above...

Father God, pray bless us to overcome this calamity."

Ed gripped the Warhammer tightly in his hands, his gaze unwavering upon the restless Orcs. For some reason, his heart harbored an ominous premonition.

This time, the Orcs had come with their full might, determined to seize Aivendel.

The Frenzy blood of Gush had already been awakened and was pulsing through the veins of the Orcs, surging, filling them with relentless ambition.

Monk Broken Body, the "Eye of Gush," exemplified this notion. The Vanguard General stood atop a hill, raising his Double-headed Axe high, his remaining solitary eye bloodshot.

"Dwarven Traps, Cavalry cannot halt the pace of Beastman Warriors, nor will they make us feel fear!"

Until the Orcs have taken what belongs to them, they are nothing but contemptible, base creatures with no place to stand! The Nishak Kingdom of the Father God will never welcome such useless beings!

Remember, never stop your advance before seizing Aivendel!"

The red glow flickered in Monk's solitary eye, the bulging veins on his formidable body stood out like the gnarled roots of trees.

"Aoo—"

The howl pierced the skies, and there, a black Worg as large as a small hill, climbed over the ridge and prostrated before the Orc Vanguard.

——This was the strongest Worg of the Red Blood Tribe, revered by power-worshipping Orcs as the "Black Hill."

It was said that this proud beast had bitten to death seven Orc Beast Tamers, allowing none to ride upon its back, save for Monk, who had subdued it with his bare hands.

Monk, with his Double-headed Axe in hand, leaped astride the towering back of the Worg, letting out a throat-scraping roar.

"Charge!"

"For Gush!"

Immediately, the Worgs Cavalry within the Beastman Army seemed to respond to the call, their Worgs also raising their heads to howl mournfully in unison.

The Worgs Cavalry, clutching Spears and Battle Axes, astride ravenous Worgs with flickering eyes, galloped across the battlefield, forming a massive onslaught.

Ed, once again, raised the Heavy Hammer high, rallying the Dwarf Heavy Cavalry, and let out a furious cry.

"In the name of Moradin—Dwarves shall never be enslaved!"

"Dwarves shall never be enslaved!"

The earth trembled slightly as armored goats galloped across the land, with the Dwarf Heavy Cavalry advancing like a wall of iron, meeting the charge of the Orcs' Worgs Cavalry.
