At the Beginning, The Villain Went for the Saintess, and the Protagonist Lost His Cool!

Chapter 17:

Chapter 17: Meeting the Protagonist of Destiny!:

Leng Yue’s beautiful eyes were fixed on Lin Xiuran, her gaze bright and admiring.

Lin Xiuran basked in her heartfelt attention, relishing her reverence. Feeling even more resolved, he declared, “Yue’er, rest assured. As my cultivation improves, this injury will gradually heal! Moreover, the spiritual energy here on this celestial peak is abundant. While I don’t have the Heavenly Origin Pill, there are still plenty of top-grade elixirs available. I estimate that within half a year, I’ll recover completely!”

Leng Yue nodded and smiled gently. She had unwavering faith in Lin Xiuran.

Her expression soon reverted to its usual calm and otherworldly demeanor. Exuding an air of elegance, she said, “If that’s the case, Brother Lin, come with me. I’ll protect you during your cultivation and help ease your injuries.”

“Very well.”

Lin Xiuran smiled and followed Leng Yue deeper into the palace.

Meanwhile, after spending some intimate moments with his Junior Sister Wanqing, Su Mo finally bid her farewell.

Feeling his cultivation significantly enhanced, Su Mo’s mood soared.

“It seems I don’t have anything pressing to deal with today.”

As he stepped away from Wanxia Peak, Su Mo contemplated his next move.

After a few moments of thought, he muttered to himself, “Since I have time to spare, why not find something entertaining to do?

Otherwise, I wouldn’t know how to pass the rest of the day.”

Cultivation was out of the question—what self-respecting villain would bother with arduous closed-door training?

Besides, having just undergone a significant breakthrough in cultivation alongside his Junior Sister Wanqing, Su Mo had little interest in slow, incremental training.

At worst, he could spend more time on Wanxia Peak with his Junior Sister, cultivating together while deepening their bond.

Junior Sister Wanqing’s unparalleled beauty and alluring figure made such visits more than enjoyable for a normal man like Su Mo.

With his mind made up, Su Mo called out casually, “Left and Right Guardians.”

The space around him rippled subtly, and moments later, two shadowy figures cloaked in dark light appeared before him.

“Holy Son.”

“Holy Son.”

The Left and Right Guardians knelt on one knee, awaiting Su Mo’s command.

A faint sneer curled Su Mo’s lips. “Let’s go to Bixiao Peak and clear out any unnecessary pests.”

“Yes!”

The Left and Right Guardians responded in unison.

Su Mo was well aware that ever since Leng Yue had been named the Absolute Void Holy Land’s Saintess, she had been granted her own celestial peak by the Holy Son.

Because of this, the protagonist of destiny had also benefited greatly, spending most of his time cultivating on Bixiao Peak.

Now, Su Mo had no intention of letting his own resources nurture someone who might one day sever his head.

The trio transformed into streaks of light, speeding toward Bixiao Peak.

In no time, Su Mo and his Guardians arrived at Bixiao Peak.

The maids stationed there, recognizing the Absolute Void Holy Land’s Holy Son and his entourage, immediately stepped forward to greet them.

“Holy Son.”

“Holy Son.”

Su Mo nodded slightly, maintaining an air of composure and grace.

“This place truly lives up to its reputation. It’s no less impressive than my own Taixu Peak.

No wonder the sycophantic Holy Son went out of his way to select such a celestial peak for Leng Yue—it’s exceptional.”

Surveying the picturesque surroundings of Bixiao Peak, with its ethereal aura and enchanting scenery, Su Mo noticed a dreamy maple forest ahead. The falling leaves, resembling fiery butterflies, created a mesmerizing display.

The trio passed through the forest, arriving at a grand and luxurious palace.

At the palace entrance, a maid stationed as a guard announced in a clear voice, “The Holy Son has arrived!”

Inside the palace, Lin Xiuran and Leng Yue, who were preparing for his treatment, both froze upon hearing the announcement.

“What’s he doing here again?” Leng Yue frowned, her delicate brows knitting together as she let out a displeased huff.

Lin Xiuran, already irritated by the Holy Son’s actions, grew even more annoyed. His expression darkened, and his tone was laced with anger as he said, “This Holy Son is truly shameless. Yue’er, you’ve rejected him so clearly, yet he still insists on pestering you.

He’s utterly insufferable and detestable.”

After a pause, Lin Xiuran added, “Yue’er, you don’t need to face him. I’ll send him away and tell him you’re not here.”

But before he could finish speaking, Su Mo’s voice rang out from nearby.

“Send who away?”

Lin Xiuran and Leng Yue were momentarily stunned, as if they had seen a ghost.

Their faces froze, and a wave of shock coursed through them.

Neither had noticed when the Holy Son had arrived so close, which only emphasized the terrifying gap in cultivation between them.

Before they could respond, Su Mo chuckled and said, “Right Guardian, you know what to do. No need for me to elaborate.”

“Yes, Holy Son.”

The Right Guardian, shrouded in a shadowy glow, moved swiftly and silently, appearing before Leng Yue and Lin Xiuran in the blink of an eye.

The pair immediately sensed that Su Mo’s intentions were far from friendly this time. With his powerful Guardian already stepping forward, their pent-up frustration erupted.

Especially Leng Yue—still reeling from her earlier humiliation at Su Mo’s hands—her tone turned icy as she demanded, “What are you doing here?”

Su Mo narrowed his eyes slightly.

What a bold question.

The entire Absolute Void Holy Land belonged to him. Did she think he needed permission to visit Bixiao Peak?

Frankly, even if he decided to turn Bixiao Peak into his personal latrine, it would be his prerogative as the Holy Son.

And yet, this woman dared to question him with such an attitude? Clearly, the earlier lesson hadn’t been enough.

Su Mo’s expression grew colder, and an invisible pressure surged toward Leng Yue, bearing down on her like a mountain.

Beads of sweat immediately formed on Leng Yue’s forehead as she struggled under the oppressive force.

Just then, a tall figure stepped in front of her, shielding her with his own body.

It was none other than Lin Xiuran.

Though he tried to maintain a composed facade, his trembling frame betrayed the immense effort required to withstand the Holy Son’s overwhelming aura.

Lin Xiuran had clearly pushed himself to the limit to resist the pressure.

Leng Yue’s heart warmed at his protective gesture.

Even though Lin Xiuran was visibly struggling under the strain, his act of shielding her made his figure seem larger than life.

However, after this brief moment of affection, Leng Yue’s concern resurfaced.

Lin Xiuran was still injured—he wasn’t in any condition to confront the Holy Son.

And this wasn’t just any opponent; it was the Absolute Void Holy Land’s Holy Son, whose power was nothing short of terrifying.
