Chapter 2: Sorcerer Killer
After being suddenly engulfed by darkness, Feng Tian's vision cleared. A flood of memories surged into his consciousness, and the system's voice echoed in his head.
[Ding! Transmigration initiated.
World: Jujutsu Kaisen
Host: Toji Fushiguro
Time Remaining: 12:00:00
Alignment: Good]
'I see, so the given alignment is the good side.'
From the information he received about the system, the system would assign an alignment to him, the moment he transmigrated.
Unlike the ones he had read in his previous life, he was free to do whatever he wanted. There were no restrictions or missions.
The only restriction was to make sure that his actions matched the alignment he was given.
Although he was free to do anything he wanted, the actions that did not match the assigned affinity would not reap him any rewards.
And about the rewards, he would receive them based on an evaluation that would happen based on the actions and changes he did in the world he was transmigrated to.
Currently, Feng Tian, or rather Toji was on the rooftop where Toji was summoned in the anime.
But, unlike the anime, Feng Tian gained control of Toji's body before he beat up Takumo Ino, a grade-two sorcerer.
Speaking of Takuma, Toji could see that he was preparing to attack him.
"Hmm... not beating him to a pulp like in the anime should count as a good deed, right?"
Thinking about it, Toji raised his hand perpendicularly towards Takuma, which made Takuma a bit too tense as he sped up the incantation, but before he could complete it, Toji spoke in his deep hoarse voice,
"You are from Jujutsu High, right?.... Would you happen to know about Megumi?"
This sudden mention of his junior seemed to have made Takuma more tense as he rushed at Toji with his fist wrapped in cursed energy as he shouted,
"Don't you dare think of harming my junior!"
With his speed, Toji dodged the fist effortlessly while thinking,
What a fool. Seems like he's asking for a beating.'
"Relax. I'm not here to hurt him. What kind of father would do that?"
'Then again, I did sell 'my own' kid for some cash… Guess that doesn't say much about me.'
This seemed to have gotten a reaction from Takuma as he realized the implications of Toji's words.
But before they could continue their conversation, the old woman who summoned Toji into the body of her grandson shouted,
"What the hell are you doing, Grandson!? Kill him quickly!"
Toji turned as he looked at the old woman and spoke lightly,
"Oh right, you were also here."
Before anyone could see or speak anything, Toji appeared behind the old woman with something in his hand.
The grandma on the other hand was gasping for breath. There was a void in her chest as she muttered while coughing up blood,
"Y-You are n-not my gr-gran----"
Before she could complete her sentence, she fell on the ground as blood stains were all over the ground.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Toji had ripped out her heart.
Toji crushed the heart in his hand, as he looked at the corpse of the old woman lying below he muttered,
"Sadly for you, I do not have any time to give you an explanation. So, please die in suspense."
Takuma's breath hitched, a cold shiver running down his spine. His legs felt like lead, his body instinctively recognizing the insurmountable gap between them.
'That speed.....I did not even see him move. He's definitely a Grade-one sorcerer or even above. If he wanted to kill me, it would be as easy as squashing a fly.'
Toji looked over at the now-pale Takuma and spoke,
"My name is Toji...Toji Fushiguro and I am on your side."
With that, he vanished from the rooftop, leaving a dazed Takuma to question what had just happened.
"Megumi's father?... What the hell is happening today?"
........
Toji appeared in the middle of a deserted street, devoid of both humans and curses.
He contemplated about what he should do in order to get the highest evaluation at the end.
"That mustache guy can be handled by Yuji and Megumi and Nanami can deal with that blonde."
"Most casualties in Shibuya were caused by the battle of Sukuna and Jogo."
"So, if I can prevent that from happening, then it would definitely result in a better evaluation."
"With Toji's full combat experience and memories at my disposal, most threats are nothing to me."
"The biggest threats currently are Jogo, Uraume, and Kenjaku."
"Dagon is a walk in the park and Mahito is an easy kill with my current condition."
"As for Sukuna, if my inferior copy, Maki can survive in the domain of a nineteen-finger Sukuna, then I can probably survive with a fifteen-finger version too I guess."
"But the domain expansion would cause a large amount of casualties in Shibuya."
Just then, an idea struck him as he muttered to himself...
"Wait... If I play my cards right, then Sukuna and Mahoraga can be avoided entirely."
Before Toji could think more about what to do, a mutated human-like figure appeared at the end of the street.
Toji looked at it and then a crazy smile appeared on his face as he realized something.
"Right! There were these cannon fodders as well! Killing them would save a few lives, so why not start from them?"
With that, Toji began a frenzy that slowly reduced the number of transfigured humans and cursed spirits in Shibuya.
Within the next two minutes, seventy percent of Grade 2 and below cursed spirits and transfigured humans were exorcised from the face of Shibuya, leaving the managers and sorcerers in awe of the bare speed of Toji.
All of this did not tire Toji at all as he moved towards his next target, an ugly octopus.
