Ava's Wedding Day

Chapter 2: A strong woman

Sophia Alyssa Rose once said, "A strong woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river following every day and night. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself."

Sophia Alyssa Rose is a younger sister to Amelia who has been living together ever since their parents died years ago. Sophia Alyssa Rose is a student at one of the best colleges in American state university and Sophia's older sister, Amelia, also works as an American Federal Bureau of Investigator [ FBI ].

In the next section, Sophia Alyssa Rose was in the bedroom studying when her roommate and also her best friend, called Sofia, came in with birthday party invitations from one of her college female friends. Sofia is Sophia's best friend, and they do everything in common just like sisters ever since they met in their university years today.

[Door knocking]

[Sofia was the one knocking on the door because Sophia asked her to knock on the door anytime she went to visit her boyfriend's place before she could enter their bedroom and Sophia said that as a joke, but Sofia took her seriously. Sophia didn't know it was her roommate, Sofia, who was knocking on the door at the moment, disturbing her studies. So, Sophia respectfully asks the person to come in, and doesn't know it was her roommate, Sofia, who was knocking.]

"Please, come in. The door is open."

[Sofia was still knocking on the door.]

"Oh, my goodness, I'm studying. So, will you come in?"

[Door opens and closes]

Sofia smiled, waved at Sophia and said, "Hey, it's me, your girlfriend. What's up girl?"

"Hey, so were you the one knocking and disturbing my studies all this while?"

"Yeah, that was me, of course, Sophia. You have always been grumbling about me knocking on the door always. Yeah, you always ask me to learn how to knock on my own bedroom and that was what I was doing, girl."

"Oh, my goodness. So, which means you went to visit your crazy boyfriend, right?

"Mm-hmm!"

"Oh! No, my love. Mm-hmm like you went there, right?"

"Yeah, I did girl."

"Okay fine, you did the right thing to knock all right, but I asked you more than five times to come in, but you were still knocking and disturbing my studies. What's really wrong with you baby?"

"Mm-hmm, I heard you but didn't know what to do next. That's why I was still knocking for all the other rooms around to know I knocked before getting into my own room."

Sophia laughed and said, "Hey, that was a crazy acting girl. But I don't think the other students heard you knocking on the door, Sofia. Why don't you do that one again? Maybe they will really hear you well, sweet cheeks."

"No! They did and the guy in the next door even saw me knocking, and she and her boyfriend were even laughing at me."

[Sophia smile]

"And they said what?"

Sofia jumped herself on the bed and said, "Nothing, of course baby. That stupid girl and her boyfriend were just laughing at me and went back to their room."

"Oh, I see. One girl and her boyfriend are nothing, and you were supposed to knock back harder on the door only if you wanted all the students around to hear you knocking, girl."

[Sofia stands up from the bed and starts walking towards the bedroom door just to get outside and knock harder so that the people around will hear her knocking, just like Sophia said to her.]

"Hey, where do you think you're going again, Sofia?"

"Nowhere, Sophia. Just want to get outside and knock harder just like you said, girl."

[Sophia laughs louder]

"Oh! No, this is nothing like fun, Sofia. Hey, stop it."

"Hmm, will you stop kidding me baby?"

"No way, Sofia, this is hilarious. Hey, will you come back here, Sofia? I have been kidding you all these days and I don't know why you always take me seriously, baby."

"Huh? Are you serious, right now, Sophia?"

"Hey, just shut up and come back here. Lady?"

[Sofia jumps herself on the bed again.]

"Hey, will you stop jumping your body onto the bed and lay on it gently, just like a perfect lady, girl?"

"Hm okay. So, tell me. For how long have you been kidding me, girl? And besides, you have even made me forget about the good news I had from a friend, Sophia."

"Like seriously? Hey, just try and remember it immediately, and tell me now, girl."

"No, I'm not going to tell you, Sophia. You have been kidding me all this while, and I'm also kidding now, okay?"

"Hey, stop it and tell me girl, and you know, I also have good news from the guy we met the last time in the college library."

"Hmm, you always know how to convince me. Okay, guess what the good news is about."
