Western Deployment Main Building

The Base of the Nightmare Desert Army was separated into two main parts, one was the Eastern Area which was responsible for defense and establishiment of outreach bases all over the desert, it was headed by a subordinate of Greenbringer, the lord of the Jukah Forest Shelter. They excelled in creating structures and formations so it was a no brainer to put them incharge of this aspect.

As for the second part, that was the western area. This was headed by a family guilliman was quite familiar with. They were incharge of deployment and to an extent mission arrangements. They were basically the attack arm of the forces.

"Welcome sir"

At the gate of the western deployment main building, a pair of guards pulled back their spears, creating space for an individual in a black uniform.

"At ease men" the young man in black smiled as he ran his left hand through his pink hair. As a member of a prominent family in the Blacksteel shelter, he was extremely respected in the army.

They showered in with salutes glory and power…as it should be.

Smiling confidently, he walked forward passim through the gates and walking into the front yard of the building. This place was like a sort of officer's mess hall, where high ranking Slayers of the army would come to receive missions and or collect payment and rewards.

With just a mere look, he could recognize several high ranking members from the younger generation, all of which were at least level 9 Slayers.

"Focus, today is the day" the young man slapped his face cheeks removing his gaze from those around going about their business.

He was here to receive an official deployment where he would have is first role of being a captain of a squad. It was already settled behind the scenes, but there needed to be some sort of impression.

He raised his chin up steadied his posture and walked forward with the dignity and air of nobility walking towards the door of the towering building infront.

However, as he was just reaching the door where the door guards stood, the silhouette of a young man with black hair appeared from the side reaching the guards by a hairs breath.

'What the hell?!!'

The young man with pink hair frowned a look of vexation painted all over his face. Someone was bold enough to cut infront of him?

"Yeah, I have an appointment"

Meanwhile, at the front of the main building, a young man in a black uniform adorned with steel ornaments could be seen speaking to the guards.

He already had an appointment with the general in charge of the western deployment force. Though this was an appointment made years ago, it was to both parties sacrosanct.

"Of course, but let me see…" the guard at the front of the building spoke amicably, but before he could finish his words an arm reached forward from behind all of a sudden.

" please I have an urgent appointment, and I was here first"

A young man with pink hair appeared out of nowhere and said a look of calm and pride written all over his face.

"Ohh Windsly Blackberry, we were expecting you" noticing the distinct pink hair, the guard seemed to realize who the kid was and frowned.

Windsly was a youth from the blackberry family. With the advent of The Ghostly hand of the blackberry family, the family had placed a lot of emphasis on their younger generation, allowing them to explore new slayer paths.

Since the original path was all but gone, they decided to explore more, and a few of these paths had borne fruit. Windsly was one of those and after contributing massively to the campaigns they were promoting him today and deploying a team for him to lead.

"Yes, yes, I am in a hurry anyway so get out of the way" Windsly seeing that these guys whom he did not know recognized him, he felt a wave of pride rush through his body.

He was really being recognized, this was awesome!!

"Hmm," the guard smiled bitterly as he watched Windsly walk forward, however as he reached arms length, the guard placed his had forward and pushed him back.

"There was someone here before you. Wait a few minutes" the main guard pushed him gently, startling him and causing him to fall backwards into a the ground.

"Hm?" The slayers around the front yard felt the tud on the ground and couldn't help but look over with looks of interest.

Someone had been push to the floor by one of the elite guards. It was funny.

"Isn't that Windsly?"

"Yeah the blackberry boy from the fourth pyramid assault"

Quickly people noticed him and called out mockery painted all over their faces. In that moment a rush of embarrassment rushed through his body causing his face to boil up as he turned to the guards.

"The general will see you now" the guard said with a smile allowing Guilliman entry into the main building.

Inside the deployment building, there were a bunch of administrative officers moving around in circles and loops, delivering orders and commands to restock, resupply and reinforce units out in the desert.

These guys were the true engines of the campaign.

While walking through, Guilliman couldn't help but sigh, such a large scale operation was not something he could simply gloss over, the alliance was taking this very seriously.

"Figures" Guilliman smiled bitterly, if only the alliance knew half of what they had encountered in this desert they would send 5 times as much men as they had here currently.

Walking up the stairs of the building and moving through several corners, and walkways, Guilliman finally came to a stop before a massive wooden door.

"Here we go" he said feeling a tinge of worry, but ultimately, he rubbed his palms together and pushed in walking directly through the doors.

"Good morning general Arthur Valor, Guilliman Naldir Commander of special unit: code name vanguard. Reporting!!" Guilliman saluted as soon as he entered the room.

Yes, the person he was coming to meet and the general in charge of the western deployment arm was Arthur Valor, the head of the second most powerful faction od the Blacksteel shelter, The Valors.
