[ Name: Indestructible Death Body ]

"What?" Daniel raised his eyebrows, unsure how to even react.
He hadn't expected his Death Body to evolve so suddenly—let alone merge with another body.
Is that even possible? He had never heard of anything like that before. Then again, he didn't put too much trust in his incomplete knowledge either.
Either way, this was an incredibly unexpected gain. His power had jumped again, pushing him across a huge boundary of advancement. Taking everything into account, he doubted mid-rank B Awakened could pose any threat to him now.
If the world found out about the level of power he currently held, they'd be shocked and terrified. Daniel was the only person in history to reach such accomplishments even before reaching rank B.
It's important to note that the difference between rank B and rank C isn't something that can be explained with just words. The difference comes from the fact that rank B Awakened possess a higher dimension of life.
That doesn't mean others are untalented. It's just that Daniel is… a monster.
He returned the technique book to his inventory. He'd become curious about its origin.
He had no doubt that a simple rank A technique couldn't be this powerful. Its origin had to be something more.
If he had some free time in the future, he'd definitely investigate it.
After that, before leaving the Celestial Domain, he looked at the marker—only one minute remained before his time ran out.
He changed his clothes and left the room. In his mind, he called out to the Mother System and declared his intention to leave.
[ Confirmed. ]
Suddenly, light appeared between the sky and the ground and swallowed him. The space around him shifted, and a moment later he found himself in his bedroom.
It had been about a full day since he left. Using his spiritual senses, he checked the house and saw that his sister, mother, and Tiana were asleep.
Well, it was almost 2 AM, after all. He didn't go to bed right away. First, he took a shower, then collapsed onto his bed and fell asleep.
At his level, Awakened could go a whole week without sleeping, but Daniel liked sleeping. It calmed his mind and stopped him from thinking too much.
The night passed quietly, and Daniel woke up with the sunlight. He got dressed and went downstairs.
"Back so soon?" Alice asked with surprise when she saw Daniel.
She'd expected him to take a long time again, but it hadn't even been two full days since he left.
"What? You disappointed?" Daniel said mockingly.
"She's just surprised you came back so quickly this time. I didn't expect it either," Liana laughed when she saw them bickering.
"Anyway, sit down. I'll make you some breakfast." Daniel sat down beside Tiana and across from Alice.
"You're not going back to the Celestial Domain again, right?" Alice asked.
"For now, not until the court case is over. But after that, I'll need to challenge the second floor."
"What about going to the capital? Clearing the second floor might take time."
"Don't worry, I'll make sure it's finished quickly—just like the first floor."
"Anyway, how are your exams going?" Daniel asked both of them.
"So far so good. We're just worried about the final exam," Alice sighed.
"Alice has aced every exam so far," Tiana said with a smile.
"You got perfect scores on all your exams too," Alice looked at her and replied.
"I didn't expect someone who doesn't like being an Awakened to get perfect scores on the exams," Daniel said with surprise as he looked at Tiana.
Tiana just shrugged. Even though she didn't like it, her family had always pressured her to get perfect scores.
Because of that, it became kind of a habit, and she always tried to get the best grades.
"So, what's your final exam that you're both so worried about?"
"We don't know yet. We just know it's a practical and competitive exam. It's different every year, but the rewards are really good," Alice replied.
"Oh? What are the rewards?" Daniel asked curiously.
"Tiana knows more about it. Honestly, I only know what the first-place prize is," Alice said with a smirk.
"First place gets a rank B item. Second place gets a rank C item. Third place gets a rank D item. Those who come in fourth to tenth get participation points," Tiana answered.
"I see. Those are actually really good rewards," Daniel nodded in understanding.
To him, these things were kind of useless, but for many students, they were incredibly valuable.
"Participation points? What are those?" Liana suddenly asked.
"Mom, you don't know what participation points are?" Alice asked with surprise.
"Why are all three of you looking at me like that?! You never tell anyone anything about the academy except your brother," Liana said with a hurt look.
"Well, participation points are kind of like money, but they only have value within the academy. We can use them to rent skill books, items, weapons, even different training grounds, classes, and instructors for as long as we want," Alice explained.
"You can earn participation points by taking part in exams, events, and academy competitions," Tiana added.
"I see… So how many do you two have?" Liana asked with a smile. She was sure Alice and Tiana must have some of the highest amounts among the students.
Anyway, one of them is her daughter and the other is like a daughter to her — there's no way the top ranks won't belong to them, right?
But unfortunately, the result was disappointing.
