Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 226: Fallens Enters The War

Just as he expected, Killing Intent surged in Evangelin's eyes.

"Those demons think they're something special? If I have to, I'll fight them until my last breath."

The Paragons looked at each other. Evern also believed they had to fight. The other two Paragons hesitated a little but eventually also agreed to go to war.

"Then we begin the war," Daniel said, then gave the order for the army to attack earlier than planned.

With the start of the war and receiving the order from their leader, the followers of the Eternity Faith charged toward the demons.

"Kill them!"

"Slaughter those bastard demons!"

"Don't let the demons who tried to destroy our Holy City live!"

Before the first attacks could land on the demons, suddenly everything went dark… but only for the demons.

The demons completely lost their vision for a full ten seconds. That ten seconds was enough for many of them to be knocked down and have weapons coated with Death Energy stabbed into their bodies.

Even the followers themselves were shocked as to why the demons weren't counterattacking—but who cared? The chance to kill demons without resistance was more than enough.

"Nice job," Daniel said, glancing at Paragon Evern on top of the city wall.

"That was the only thing I could do to reduce casualties on our side," Evern replied with a nod, ignoring the confused and surprised looks from the other two Paragons and focusing on the battlefield.

Daniel nodded back. The others didn't know what had happened—after all, this was their secret plan. Or more precisely, it was his backup plan.

When Evern brought the weapons earlier, he had approached Daniel and told him that he actually possessed a hidden skill—one he had kept secret in case he ever needed to fight the other Paragons.

Daniel hadn't expected that. Still, Evern's skill was incredibly useful in a situation like this. It could completely remove the vision of all living beings within a limited radius for a short period of time.

The more targets affected, the shorter the duration. With the massive number of demons, he could only blind them for about ten seconds.

But that was more than enough.

After the ten seconds passed, the demons suddenly began counterattacking. Once they regained their sight and saw that so many of their kind were lying on the ground, they were enraged.

They attacked the followers of the Eternity Faith with full force. A battle that had favored the Eternity army just moments earlier suddenly flipped in favor of the demons.

What followed was a one-sided massacre. The followers were slaughtered one after another by the claws and innate weapons of the demons.

"Shouldn't we do something?" Evangelin clenched her teeth as she watched the people getting massacred.

A massive Killing Intent began to pour out of her, enough to even catch Daniel's attention.

'This girl is only at peak rank C… but her Killing Intent is this strong?' he thought, raising an eyebrow. Still, he didn't give it too much attention.

Instead, he summoned all of his Fallen.

"Oh my god, what are those things?!"

"The demons are attacking!" The moment the Fallen appeared, the Paragons and Evangelin were shocked and drew their weapons.

"Don't worry," Daniel waved his hand, signaling them that there was no need for alarm.

One by one, the Fallen knelt before Daniel.

"Glory to our Lord."

"Go. Slaughter the demons. Weaker Fallen should target the demons who are already down."

The Fallen nodded in understanding, and then with explosive speed, they entered the battlefield. The moment they joined, the tide of battle noticeably shifted.

The previously one-sided slaughter became more balanced. With their help, the Eternity army began once again killing and pushing back the demons.

But the advantage still lay with the demons. After all, there were fewer than 20 Fallen, while more than 7,000 demons were still alive.

Three thousand others had been wounded during the ten-second blindness, and naturally, Death Energy had entered their bodies. Now, the Fallen were killing them.

[ You have successfully slain... ]

One notification after another appeared before Daniel. His EXP was rising explosively.

Still, it wasn't enough to reach rank B. He was still far from that goal.

Then, he focused his attention on his Fallen. After completing the Final Abulation, he had felt that his subordinates had grown in strength.

Now was the perfect time to see just how much stronger they had become.

His gaze landed on Nariok, Velmord, Zagurt, and Vorak as he observed them carefully.

It didn't take long before his eyebrows raised in surprise. Their growth was obvious.

"Vorak can now easily crush anyone below rank B, and he could probably even fight regular rank B enemies. Though I doubt he'd win."

Vorak was his first Fallen. When Daniel turned him, he had only been rank D—or maybe even E? He couldn't remember clearly.

But now, Vorak had reached a level where he could hold his ground against regular rank B fighters.

"Nariok can now match even mid- or high-rank B opponents. And with his terrifying shadow manipulation skills, he could become a deadly assassin."

"That also applies to Zagurt. Though with his low intelligence, I doubt he could beat a high-rank B. But in terms of raw power, he's not far off."

Finally, there was Velmord. An Undead Overlord who had died chasing rank B.

But now? While the regular power system didn't quite apply to Daniel's Fallen, by normal standards, Velmord could now be said to match mid-rank B opponents.

After that, Daniel glanced at the rest of his Fallen. Their power growth was noticeable across the board.

Then, sensing something, he turned his attention to Evangelin. It was time—for her and the Paragons to join the battle.

"Are you ready to enter the war?"
