Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 288: The Moon Zone

Lana didn't answer immediately, pausing for a moment. A flicker of hesitation flashed in her eyes.

"Honestly, I don't know either. It's a classified project—a weapon forged for us by the dwarves. In fact, it doesn't only belong to us. The person I told you about who's coming with you? This is actually a joint project between us and the force backing her."

"I see. But if I don't even know what it looks like, how am I supposed to find it?" Daniel smirked sarcastically.

He could tell that this woman knew exactly what the weapon was but simply didn't want to tell him—or maybe she wasn't allowed to.

It surprised him a little. After everything they had been through, she still didn't trust him? On second thought, maybe it was reasonable.

Not that there was anything he could do about it.

"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll recognize it the moment you see it."

"So, is there a plan?"

"A plan? Plans are for kids. Make one yourself, or just attack them head-on and take the weapon back." Lana laughed.

Daniel felt a headache coming on but didn't care enough to argue. It was then decided that he would head to floor -1, where special rooms were set up for Awakened who wanted to enter the Celestial Domain.

They agreed he would enter right away and wait for the person there. Lana also said she would come along to show him around the zone.

"Didn't you say you're busy?"

"Well, it's my break time now." She shrugged and gestured for him to move along.

Daniel nodded and didn't waste any more time here. He was currently in the Yurask zone and still had to find a way to reach the Moon Zone.

He got back in the elevator and went down to floor -1, where he received a room key from the staff at the desk and headed to his assigned chamber.

The rooms were circular and made entirely of glass, though the glass was opaque, so no one could see inside.

After finding the right one, he opened the door and stepped inside, sitting cross-legged on the floor.

He glanced around the chamber to see if these rooms had any unique features, and the result was just as he expected.

While they had a few functions, there was nothing particularly special about them.

"I want to enter the Celestial Domain."

[ Are you sure you wish to enter the Celestial Domain? ]

The emotionless voice of the Mother System echoed in his ears. Without hesitation, he clicked 'Yes.'

Suddenly, light enveloped his body, and for a few moments, the world around him went black.

When his vision returned, he found himself back in the same mind mansions as before. After glancing around to confirm, he made sure he was still here.

He exited the building and headed toward the teleport portal area.

"I want to go to the Moon Zone."

"The Moon Zone? You're a lucky kid. We actually have a direct portal there, but it'll cost you one thousand gold coins," the attendant said after giving him a quick look.

Daniel paid the fee and stepped into the portal the attendant pointed out.

Once again, his surroundings turned dark, and when his vision returned, he emerged from another portal elsewhere.

He looked around. It was an open area filled with countless other portals, each with its own attendant.

"If this is your first time in the Moon Zone, you'll need to pay a one-time fee of one hundred gold coins. If you're a guild member, it's free." He approached the next attendant, who spoke immediately upon seeing him.

Daniel said nothing and simply showed his guild emblem. Upon seeing it, the attendant froze in surprise, immediately standing and bowing deeply.

"Sir, welcome! I sincerely apologize for my earlier rudeness."

"There's no need for the formalities. Relax." Daniel nodded, and after his identity was verified, he left the area.

He could understand why the attendant had acted that way. It was definitely because of the rank displayed on his guild emblem.

"Well, she told me to wait for her outside the portal area." He muttered to himself while looking around.

As expected, the architecture here was nearly identical to that of their own world—at least the traditional styles of their world.

Or perhaps it was better described as a hybrid style, but either way, it was stunning, especially since, despite it being daytime, the moon still hung in the sky.

The moon lit up the day, which fascinated him. Of course, this place was called the Moon Zone, after all.

His gaze then drifted toward something in the distance—some kind of structure, so massive and majestic that he could make it out even from where he stood.

"What's that supposed to be?" he murmured to himself. But before he could think about it, a voice pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Welcome to the Moon Zone." A beautiful feminine voice reached his ears.

"So, you finally showed up, Lady Lana?" Daniel turned to see Lana descending toward him—literally, as she landed from the sky.

When she landed, Daniel's eyes lingered on her, mostly because of what she was wearing.

A regal outfit adorned with moon engravings, clearly tailored from the finest materials. Its silver-and-white color scheme carried a sort of harmonious balance.

"Beautiful, isn't it? You'll get one too." Lana noticed his gaze on her attire.

"So, is this new travel partner of mine here yet?" Daniel moved on to the main topic.

"Not yet. I already contacted her, and she should be here in about three hours."

"Three hours? What are we supposed to do until then?"

"Well, I could give you a tour of this place, naturally." Lana offered. She had a bit of downtime and didn't mind showing him around.

After all, she'd been swamped with work all week, and it had honestly been depressing. She needed a break, and what better time than now? She even had a decent excuse for it.

Daniel nodded. He didn't mind and didn't have anything better to do anyway.

They spent the next hour exploring the Moon Zone. The place was enormous, divided into multiple sectors and states.

Even after an hour, they barely managed to cover one state, but Daniel got a general sense of the area.

Most notably, he caught sight of the guild's main headquarters here from a distance—a massive palace spanning more than fifty thousand square meters.

Its architecture had a distinctive style that was unmistakably the signature of the Everlight Moon guild. Even more striking was the artificial moon floating above the palace, serving as the guild's emblem.

Additionally, he could sense an unusual power coming from the artificial moon, which sparked his curiosity.

Still, they didn't enter the palace. There would be plenty of opportunities to explore it in the future.

For now, his attention was locked on the grand structure standing before him, one that seemed to sit at the exact center of the entire Moon Zone.

If he had to compare it to something, it looked exactly like a temple.

"What is this?" he turned to Lana and asked.

"This is the reason for our existence—and our guild's. The Eternal Moon Temple."
