Batman’s Son in Marvel

Chapter 38: Chapter 38: Massacre

Although high-energy cutting lasers consumed significant energy, their power was undeniable. The reinforced steel hull of the tanker, built to military-grade specifications, was quickly breached as Adam's armored units poured in one after another.

More than a thousand steel suits flooded the ship, systematically advancing through the corridors. However, Adam was already bracing himself for the worst. He was right. By the time the Iron Legion began securing compartments, nearly all the crew and researchers onboard had been slaughtered.

The AIM operatives were well-equipped, wearing specialized combat armor and night-vision gear. Even cutting the lights and shutting down communications didn't slow them down. Their tactics were coordinated, and their ruthlessness left Adam seething with anger.

"Try to capture these people alive. If you can't, kill them all," Adam ordered coldly. "Check for any survivors."

Skynet acknowledged the commands, and the Iron Legion moved to isolate and neutralize the remaining operatives. However, Adam's hopes of capturing them alive quickly evaporated.

"Cyanide," Skynet reported.

Adam stared at the bodies with a grim expression. Their lips were stained blue, and blood leaked from their eyes and noses. These were professional dead soldiers—brainwashed and prepared to die at a moment's notice.

Cyanide, one of the deadliest chemicals in existence, left no chance for resuscitation. It was a tool of the most extreme operations, and Adam knew what it meant.

It wasn't just the technology that concerned him anymore—it was the mentality of the organization behind AIM.

Training and deploying over a hundred operatives willing to die was not something ordinary groups could accomplish. It required resources, connections, and a fanatical ideology.

"Skynet, scan their equipment and gather data. Identify their origins and affiliations," Adam ordered.

His mind was racing. He already suspected that AIM had deeper layers than what he'd uncovered so far. Their advanced technology and unflinching loyalty suggested a hidden power structure, one far beyond Killian's ambitions.

"Master, these soldiers' identities appear to be completely erased. No personal records found."

Adam's eyes narrowed. "No one can hide completely. Trace their weapons, gear, and ammunition. Find out who supplied them. Someone left a trail."

While Skynet began analyzing the data, Adam's anger simmered. He had seen the carnage firsthand—blood pooling in the corridors, bodies stacked like garbage, and broken remnants of research labs.

"Send everything we find to Nick Fury. Include AIM's connections to Killian and this operation. If anyone's equipped to chase this down, it's S.H.I.E.L.D."

Adam stepped out onto the deck, finally breathing fresh air after enduring the horror below. But there was no relief—only determination.

"Also contact Tony Stark," Adam said, voice firm. "Let him know what's happening. I want AIM wiped out completely."

Even as he issued orders, Adam's gaze lingered on the burning horizon. He had dealt with threats before, but this was something different.

AIM wasn't just a rogue company—they were a cancer. And Adam intended to cut them out before they spread any further.

Meanwhile, in New York City, Nick Fury sat at his desk in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, reviewing an anonymous email marked urgent. His expression darkened as he read through the contents—photos, schematics, and video evidence detailing the AIM operation.

"Hill," Fury said, summoning his top agent through the comm. "We need a quiet investigation into a group called AIM and their ties to Killian Biopharmaceuticals. Do it discreetly. Pull whatever resources you need."

Agent Maria Hill's voice came through the earpiece. "Understood. Should I loop in Stark Industries?"

Fury paused, his one eye narrowing as he thought through the implications. "Not yet. Let's see what we uncover first."

As Fury leaned back, his instincts told him this was only the beginning. AIM's reach was deeper than anyone realized, and the evidence in front of him pointed to something far more dangerous than simple terrorism.

And somewhere in Gotham, Adam was already preparing his next move.
