Chapter 14: Chapter fourteen
Chapter Fourteen: The Zombie Boar of Doom
The morning sun rose over the arena, casting long shadows across the stone floor. Crow stood at the entrance, his mind still buzzing from the overwhelming power of the Earth Elemental Guardian he had tamed the day before. His tamed beasts were growing stronger, his army swelling, but today would be different. Today, he was walking into an arena unlike any other.
The announcer's voice boomed through the stadium, his words echoing with the excitement of the crowd. The arena was buzzing with spectators, eager for the next challenge, but none of them knew what was about to unfold.
"Next contestant! Crow, the Overlord!"
Crow stepped forward, his footsteps steady, his face calm and composed. The crowd erupted into cheers, though the vast majority of them had no idea who he was. They saw only another Beast Tamer entering the arena, and they expected nothing extraordinary—after all, Beast Tamers were supposed to be the weakest class.
But what they didn't know was that Crow wasn't just any Beast Tamer. He was the Overlord, the one who had already tamed some of the most legendary creatures in existence.
The arena gates slowly creaked open, revealing a dark, foreboding mist that hung in the air. A strange odor filled the arena, a mix of decay and death that immediately made the spectators' blood run cold.
Out from the mist emerged a creature unlike any other.
The Zombie Boar.
The massive beast lumbered forward, its body a grotesque amalgamation of flesh and bone, its once-mighty tusks now jagged and broken. Its fur had long since rotted away, replaced by patches of exposed, decaying skin. Its eyes were hollow, glowing with an eerie, sickly green light, and its movements were jerky and unnatural. This wasn't just a beast—it was a Zombie Boar, a terrifying undead creature that had been resurrected from the depths of the earth.
But what made this creature even more horrifying was its level—Level 150.
The crowd fell silent in stunned disbelief. No one had ever seen a beast of such a high level. Most legendary beasts hovered around Level 50 or 60, but this—this was something else.
Crow narrowed his eyes, his gaze locking onto the Zombie Boar. Its sheer size was enough to intimidate even the most hardened warriors. It was massive, its body rippling with the unnatural strength of the undead. The stench of rot filled the air, and every step it took seemed to shake the ground beneath them.

Crow's Strategy:
But Crow wasn't intimidated. If anything, the sight of this creature only fueled his desire to tame it. He could feel the power emanating from the boar, and he knew that this was a creature that would challenge even his limits.
He called out to his beasts, his voice firm, commanding. Fire Elemental Guardian and Ice Elemental Guardian appeared at his sides, standing at attention, ready to assist.
The Wyvern and Shadow Panther took to the skies, ready to provide support from above, while Stone Golem and the Earth Elemental Guardian stood at the ready, their forms like living fortresses, prepared for battle.
Crow took a deep breath and focused. He couldn't waste any time—this battle would require precision, power, and control. He had never faced an enemy quite like this, but his skills and his army were more than capable of handling it.
---
The Battle Begins:
The Zombie Boar charged forward, its massive hooves thundering against the arena floor. It bellowed, a guttural sound that seemed to shake the very walls of the arena. Its tusks gleamed in the dim light, sharp and deadly, and its eyes were filled with mindless fury.
Crow acted quickly. "Ice Guardian! Fire Guardian! Create a barrier!"
Without hesitation, the Ice Elemental Guardian summoned a wall of ice in front of the charging boar, while the Fire Elemental Guardian surrounded it with an intense ring of flames. The Zombie Boar charged into the ice barrier, but its massive strength caused the wall to crack and shatter upon impact.
"Stone Golem! Earth Elemental Guardian! Hold the line!" Crow commanded.
The Stone Golem and Earth Elemental Guardian moved forward, planting themselves firmly between Crow and the Zombie Boar, their powerful forms becoming an unmovable wall. The boar crashed into them, but its strikes barely caused a tremor in the two giants' defenses.
Crow then turned his focus inward, summoning his Wyvern and Shadow Panther to engage from above.
---
Zombie Boar's Counterattack:
The Zombie Boar, enraged, whipped its massive head from side to side, sending a spray of blood and rot everywhere. It roared, the sound deafening in the arena, before it charged toward the Stone Golem and Earth Elemental Guardian.
But Crow had been ready. As the boar charged, Crow gave the signal.
"Wyvern! Wing Slam!"
With a powerful flap of its wings, the Wyvern swooped down from above and struck the Zombie Boar with a devastating wing slam, knocking the creature back. The force of the blow was enough to send the boar reeling, though it quickly recovered.
"Shadow Panther! Night Hunter!"
The Shadow Panther, blending seamlessly into the shadows, leaped forward with lightning speed. It slashed at the Zombie Boar's exposed side, its claws glowing with shadow energy, tearing through the creature's rotting flesh. The boar howled in pain but still fought on, its resistance undeterred.
Crow wasn't finished yet. He needed to find a way to subdue the creature—taming it was his goal. But first, he needed to weaken it enough to bring it under control.
---
Crow's Final Move:
The Zombie Boar was a fierce adversary, but Crow had learned over the past few days how to control the flow of battle. With all his beasts attacking from different angles, he launched a final, desperate plan.
"Fire Guardian! Inferno Blast! Ice Guardian! Glacial Crush!"
The Fire Elemental Guardian unleashed a massive fireball, engulfing the Zombie Boar in a blistering inferno. At the same time, the Ice Elemental Guardian summoned enormous chunks of ice that crashed into the creature, freezing it in place.
The boar let out a deafening scream as the flames and ice collided. It staggered, its movements slowing, its flesh burning and freezing simultaneously. Crow took his chance.
"Stone Golem! Earth Elemental Guardian! Hold it down!"
The Stone Golem and Earth Elemental Guardian moved in, each grabbing one of the boar's legs and pinning it to the ground. Crow stepped forward, his eyes locked onto the creature.
"I'll tame you," he muttered.
With his power, his beasts, and his determination, Crow used the Beast Space Taming Technique once more. He reached out, his energy wrapping around the Zombie Boar like chains of light, binding it to his will.
---
The Taming Success:
The boar struggled, but it was too late. With one final surge of magical energy, the Zombie Boar let out a pained screech, its will completely broken.
Crow smiled, his eyes glowing with triumph. The boar, once an uncontrollable force of nature, was now his.
