Furen, accompanied by Fū, made his way through the waterfall-filled Land of Waterfalls toward the Land of Fire. According to the information Tayuya had sent in her scroll, they were located near a village in the northern part of the Land of Fire, close to Tanzaku Town, where Tsunade had recently appeared.

During their journey, Furen continued helping Fū learn to control the power of the Seven-Tails. Although Chōmei, the Seven-Tails inside Fū, was obedient under Furen's control, it was still a challenge for Fū to absorb the chakra that leaked from the Ten Directions Seal on her own. The chakra of a tailed beast, if absorbed carelessly, could easily overwhelm a host with its dark emotions, leading to partial or full transformation into the tailed beast.

Excitedly, Fū ran over to Furen, spinning around to show off a set of armored wings on her back—much like the wings that appear on the Seven-Tails in its complete form.

"Furen-kun, look! I did what you said, and I finally grew my flying wings!"

Over the past few days, with Furen's help, Fū had grown closer to the Seven-Tails. Despite this, Chōmei, the Seven-Tails, felt somewhat exasperated, especially since Fū insisted on calling it "Flying Bug" or "Fly-Fly" for short, which Chōmei reluctantly tolerated.

Furen smiled and glanced at the armored wings that had sprouted from Fū's back. Though he himself could grow similar wings in his two-tailed beast form, it wasn't as convenient as Fū's true connection to the Seven-Tails, which allowed her to generate them naturally whenever needed.

With her new wings, Fū's playful nature took over. She soared into the air, jumping between trees in the forest.

"The next thing I'm going to teach you is something else entirely…" Furen said as he moved ahead of her, extending his hand. A black sphere of highly condensed chakra slowly formed in his palm, a mixture of blue and red natural energy swirling into it. Eventually, it condensed into a small Tailed Beast Bomb, about the size of a human head.

When the Seven-Tails inside Fū saw that Furen could form a Tailed Beast Bomb, a technique exclusive to tailed beasts, it was utterly shocked. Its eyes widened in disbelief, as though it were looking at a freak of nature.

"He can use the Wood Release like that person from the past, and now he can even transform into a two-tailed beast form and create a Tailed Beast Bomb?! Who exactly is this Furen… a descendant of the Sage of Six Paths?!"

Over the days spent observing Furen, Chōmei had grown more and more curious about his identity. In all of its long life, spanning over a thousand years, it had never encountered a ninja as versatile as Furen. There was nothing he couldn't do, no technique he couldn't master.

Such talent reminded Chōmei of the one who had created the tailed beasts, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths. While Furen's power wasn't on that level yet, Chōmei had a strange feeling that he would one day reach—perhaps even surpass—that heightked at the Tailed Beast Bomb in Furen's hand with admiration and awe.

She had seen firsthand the destructive power of the Seven-Tails' Tailed Beast Bomb during its rampage in her village, and now Furen had created one identical to it. Though the one Furen made was only about the size of a head, its power was still terrifying. If unleashed, it could easily vaporize an entire mountain.

"Furen-kun, how did you manage to create that?" Fū asked, her eyes shining with curiosity and a desire to learn.

Furen smiled mysteriously. "You'll need the help of your little bug inside you if you want to learn this technique. Let him out."

Without hesitation, Fū dove into her subconscious, entering the Ten Directions Seal to communicate with the enormous Chōmei.

"Fly-Fly, Furen-kun is calling you!" she said cheerfully.

Chōmei, clearly unamused by the nickname, wanted to ignore her. However, after remembering Furen's Wood Release, which could easily subdue it, Chōmei begrudgingly emerged from within the seal.

Furen and Fū began practicing the process of creating a Tailed Beast Bomb while continuing their journey. Eventually, they arrived in a mountainous forest, where Furen decided to have Fū practice more seriously.

The destructive power of the Tailed Beast Bomb was too great; a single mistake could cause a disaster. Furthermore, Furen had other plans that would make it inconvenient to bring Fū along.

"That over there is Tanzaku Town," Furen said, pointing toward the settlement ahead.
