(Ethan's POV)

I stepped down from the arena with a mix of satisfaction and intrigue. The fight against the Wolfman had been easier than I expected, but something about it left me uneasy. As I walked back toward the others, my mind returned to those moments when I moved purely on instinct.

"Ethan, that was incredible!" Gina's excited voice pulled me from my thoughts. Her eyes gleamed with admiration, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Thanks, Gina. But that was just a warm-up," I replied, trying to sound modest. Deep down, I knew that something extraordinary had happened there.

I looked at my hands, remembering the sensation of power flowing through my body. It was as if every cell was perfectly synchronized, responding to a deeper call than my consciousness.

"Ultra Instinct," I muttered to myself.

"What did you say?" Gina asked, curious.

I shook my head, deciding to save that reflection for later. "Nothing important. How's everyone doing?"

Gina updated me on Yamcha's condition, who was still recovering, and on the furious glares Tien kept throwing our way. But I barely listened. My mind wandered, replaying every movement of the recent fight.

That's when I noticed Bulma approaching. Her face was flushed, and there was a different gleam in her eyes. For a moment, I felt a pang of guilt. In another timeline, she would be by Yamcha's side right now. But things were different here, and I couldn't deny the magnetism between us.

"Ethan, you were… incredible," she said, her voice a little breathless. "I've never seen anyone move like that."

I smiled, feeling a mix of pride and discomfort. "Thanks, Bulma. I guess I got a little lucky."

Lie. It wasn't luck. It was something much deeper, something I had been searching for years. Ultra Instinct, that state of perfect harmony between mind and body that only the most powerful warriors could achieve. And somehow, I had tapped into that energy during a fight that should have been insignificant.

I looked around, at the packed stands, at my friends and rivals. All of them, unknowingly, had witnessed something extraordinary. A glimpse of the power I truly possessed.

"Ethan?" Gina's voice brought me back to reality. "Are you okay? You seem… distant."

I forced a smile. "I'm fine. Just… thinking about the next fight."

But it wasn't true. I was thinking about everything that had happened since I arrived in this world. The battles, the friendships, the secrets I carried. And now, with this new power awakening inside me, I knew things were about to change drastically.

The announcer called for the start of the next match, but I barely heard it. My mind was elsewhere, imagining the possibilities that were opening up before me. With Ultra Instinct, even in its most primitive stage, I could face threats that once seemed insurmountable.

But with great power comes great responsibility. The words echoed in my mind, reminding me of everything at stake. This tournament was only the beginning. Out there, somewhere in the universe, far more powerful enemies awaited.

I closed my eyes for a moment, feeling the ki flowing through my body. It was as if every cell sang in harmony, ready to dance again that deadly dance I had executed against the Wolfman.

"Ethan?" Bulma's voice called me again. "Are you sure you're okay?"

I opened my eyes and smiled, this time genuinely. "I've never been better, Bulma. In fact, I think I've finally understood something very important."

She tilted her head, curious. "And what would that be?"

I looked at the sky, where the stars were beginning to appear in the twilight. "That this is just the beginning. There's much more to come, and we need to be ready."

Gina and Bulma exchanged confused glances, but I knew that soon they would understand. The tournament, the fights, all of this was just a prelude to what was to come.

As the sun set over the arena, I felt a new determination growing inside me. Ultra Instinct was the key, the next step in my journey. And I was ready to embrace it, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

With one last look at my companions, I turned and began to walk back to the waiting area. The semifinals were coming, and with them, the chance to push the limits of this new power even further.

"Let's go," I murmured to myself. "Show me what you're capable of, Ultra Instinct."

And so, with my heart racing and ki pulsing through my veins, I prepared for the next round. The tournament might have been just a game for some, but for me, it was the beginning of something much bigger. Something that could change not only my fate but the fate of the entire universe.

(Announcer's POV!)

"Let's move on to our next match: Chiaotzu versus Krillin!" shouted the announcer.

"Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for another electrifying battle!" My voice echoed through the stadium, feeling the energy of the crowd rising. "Our next fighters are about to enter the arena!"

The buzz in the audience grew louder, and I couldn't contain my own excitement. After the impressive display from Son Ethan, everyone was eager to see what would come next.

"On one side, we have Chiaotzu!" I announced, watching the small warrior floating toward the ring. His pale skin and red cheeks contrasted with the green uniform of the Crane School. "He may look harmless, but don't be fooled! This little fighter possesses psychic abilities that can surprise even the most experienced opponents!"

The crowd murmured, some curious, others skeptical. Chiaotzu hovered in the center of the ring, his face expressionless, but his eyes shining with determination.

"And on the other side," I continued, my voice rising with emotion, "we have Krillin, the young prodigy of the Turtle School!"

Krillin stepped into the arena with firm steps, his shaved head gleaming under the stadium lights. His orange gi was a stark contrast to Chiaotzu's green, symbolizing the clash between the two rival schools.

"Krillin may be small in stature, but he's a giant in skill and courage!" I declared, watching the young fighter take his position. "Trained by the legendary Master Roshi, he's here to prove his worth!"

The two fighters faced each other, the tension in the air palpable. I could feel the anticipation from the crowd, the momentary silence before the storm.

"Fighters, to your positions!" I shouted, my heart racing with adrenaline. "Let the match begin!"

The moment I gave the signal, Krillin advanced with impressive speed. His fists cut through the air, aiming at Chiaotzu with precision. But to everyone's surprise, Chiaotzu simply floated out of reach, his movements smooth as if he were dancing in the air.

"Incredible!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with amazement. "Chiaotzu is using his levitation ability to avoid Krillin's attacks! Could the young Turtle School fighter have found an opponent he can't reach?"

The crowd roared, some cheering for Krillin, others marveling at Chiaotzu's unique abilities. Krillin, for his part, didn't seem discouraged. With a shout of determination, he leapt into the air, his fist slicing through the wind toward Chiaotzu.

"Oh! Krillin isn't going to give up that easily!" I narrated, leaning forward in my booth. "He's taking the fight to the air! But Chiaotzu seems to always be one step ahead!"

Indeed, the small psychic warrior continued to dodge gracefully, his movements fluid and unpredictable. But then, something changed. Chiaotzu's eyes gleamed with a strange light, and suddenly, Krillin froze in midair.

"What's this?!" I shouted, my voice rising several octaves. "It seems Chiaotzu is using his psychic powers! Krillin is immobilized!"

The audience fell silent, everyone holding their breath. Krillin struggled against the invisible force holding him, his features contorted with effort. Chiaotzu, on the other hand, maintained his serene expression, his eyes fixed on his opponent.

"Could this be the end for Krillin?" I asked, the tension evident in my voice. "Or does the young warrior from the Turtle School have one more trick up his sleeve?"

As the fight continued to unfold, I couldn't help but think about how this tournament was turning out to be full of surprises. First, the astounding display by Son Ethan, and now this clash between such different techniques. What else did this tournament have in store?

With my heart racing and my voice hoarse from narrating, I continued to describe every move, every surprising twist in this extraordinary fight. The Martial Arts Tournament was only just beginning, and it already promised to be one of the most memorable of all time.
