Bleach My days as an Espada

Chapter 24: Chapter 24

Central 46, which lacks any form of protection, is deemed a restricted zone by the Soul Society. Due to numerous significant incidents in the past, no Shinigami has ventured here for investigation. It truly serves as a remarkable place to conceal oneself.

"Aizen-sama~ Aizen-sama~ are you present? "

"No? Then I'll just come in. . . hehe. "

Fiander, positioned near the entrance, murmured before casually pushing open the closed gate and stepping inside.

"Tsk tsk tsk, what a pitiful sight. " Upon entering the chamber, he found the esteemed officials who were meant to oversee the Soul Society's matters had met a tragic end on their cushions.

It appeared they had been deceased for quite some time. Just as Fiander intended to move into the inner lounge, Aizen emerged from the shadows, exuding an elegant and relaxed demeanor.

"Fiander, I don't recall inviting you to the Soul Society ahead of time. "

With two days remaining before Aizen's plan is set in motion, he should still be in Hueco Mundo.

"Ahaha~ I was simply feeling bored, so I thought I'd visit the Soul Society. My apologies, Aizen-sama. "

"Don't concern yourself with it. It's no major issue really. You were the one responsible for the abrupt temperature drop earlier, correct? "

Aizen promptly inquired about the recent incident. He was aware of Fiander's unique ability, which could freeze everything in its path. Even Aizen recognized the value of Fiander's talent.

"On my way here, I encountered Kyoraku Shunsui, the captain of the Eighth Division, and engaged in a brief skirmish with him. He is indeed formidable; no wonder he has held the captaincy for over a century. "

As he spoke, Fiander grazed the wound on his waist. Though it had stopped bleeding.

"Excellent! The disruption caused by your recent attack will prove advantageous to my strategy. "

"Everything remains under my control; you can linger here for a time. " Aizen lowered his gaze, slightly adjusted his glasses, and a glint shimmered in his eyes.

"Yes! Master Aizen! "

Fiander narrowed his eyes into a smile as he responded.

That night, Kira Iziru and Hinamori Momo, who were meant to be confined to their cells, both managed to escape. Hitsugaya Tōshirō, captain of the 10th Division, followed the clues and eventually discovered 3rd Division Captain Gin who was about to escort Kira Iziru out of the courtyard.

"You two are indeed here. From the evidence left behind, it is clear that Kira's cage could not have been breached from within. The only explanation is that someone assisted him."

Moreover, considering the confrontation between Kira and Hinamori, if they had truly wished to be incarcerated, their Reiatsu should have been sealed; yet, everything seems to indicate that this was orchestrated from the start.

Gazing calmly at Ichimaru Gin before him, Tōshirō felt a surge of rage within. After learning of the discussion between Ichimaru and Aizen previously, he and Hinamori Momo initially suspected that Ichimaru was the hidden killer. However, without concrete proof, they were powerless to act.

"If your intention was to liberate him quietly, you could've chosen a more discreet approach, you fool," Tōshirō remarked while casting a derisive glance at Ichimaru Gin and the visibly shaken Kira positioned behind him.

"What are you saying? I intentionally did it to make sure everyone knew," Ichimaru Gin replied with a sudden frown, his earlier smirk vanishing.

"Fortunately, Hinamori isn't present," he added.

With that, Tōshirō gripped his Zanpakutō, fixed his gaze on Ichimaru Gin, and declared, "I will certainly kill you before she arrives. "

As soon as he spoke, a figure emerged from the moonlit surroundings; shortly thereafter, a weary Hinamori Momo appeared, trailing behind Tōshirō.

"Hinamori? ! " Tōshirō exclaimed in shock as he turned his attention to her.

"I finally tracked you down; I knew you would be here," Hinamori Momo said.

In this moment, completely manipulated by Aizen and teetering on the edge of sanity, she drew her Zanpakutō and directed it at Tōshirō, asking, "Why. . . would you kill Captain Aizen? "

Seeing the girl he cared about deeply aiming her sword at him, Tōshirō's thoughts spiraled into disarray.

"What are you saying, Hinamori? How could I ever harm Aizen? " he responded, bewildered.

Unbeknownst to Tōshirō, while Hinamori Momo was confined in a dungeon, Matsumoto Rangiku had delivered a forged suicide note signed by Aizen to him. The note falsely claimed that Hitsugaya Tōshirō was a villain plotting to overthrow the Soul Society and mentioned Aizen's intention to meet Tōshirō that night, warning that if he never returned. . .

Having always put her faith in Aizen's words, Hinamori Momo believed Tōshirō was responsible for her beloved captain's death. After enduring a myriad of mental torments, she had finally decided to flee from imprisonment and confront Tōshirō. Witnessing the tear-streaked girl trembling as she held her Zanpakutō toward him only intensified Tōshirō's fury.

He understood that the suicide note given to Hinamori had been manipulated, and the only one with such motives standing before him was Ichimaru Gin.

"Ichimaru! ! " Tōshirō cried out just as he unsheathed his Zanpakutō, preparing to strike at Ichimaru Gin, but Hinamori moved first. Her Zanpakutō, though weakly wielded, cut through the air towards Tōshirō in desperation.

"Hinamori! What are you doing? ! " he shouted, narrowly dodging her desperate slashes, his eyes widening in realization. Facing the distraught Hinamori, tears streaming down her face as she trembled with the Zanpakutō gripped tightly in both hands, she repeatedly cried out, "Tōshirō. . . what am I supposed to. . . What should I do, please tell me, Tōshirō! ! "

"Ahhhh—" With a grimace, Hinamori swung her weapon, and Tōshirō leaped, targeting the girl's neck with a swift strike of his hand, rendering her unconscious.

Gazing at the now-unconscious Hinamori, one could see her clothes drenched with tears, her grip on her Zanpakutō's handle so intense that it drew blood from her hands.

The sight revealed the extent of Hinamori's emotional torment in the face of such a grim predicament.

"Oh, how heartless you are, Captain Tōshirō! Why do you treat a traumatized girl this way? "

"She would rather inflict injury upon herself while clutching her Zanpakutō tightly, which clearly indicates how far you've pushed her," Ichimaru Gin remarked softly. However, Tōshirō, still reeling from the sight of Hinamori's condition, unleashed a chilling Reiatsu, his eyes a frosty blue, and without any sign of warmth, declared:

"I recall warning you that if Hinamori lost even a drop of blood—"

"I will undoubtedly eliminate you, Ichimaru! ! "

"Arise from the frigid heavens! HYORINMARU! ! "

As the sky dimmed, Tōshirō sprang into the air, his Zanpakutō in hand. With water and ice merging, a colossal ice dragon materialized, crashing down toward Kira Iziru and Ichimaru Gin.
