Chapter 11: Ending 2 The Last Time (Wholesome Ending)
Ichigo lashed out at Ocuil, causing a massive slash to appear on his chest. Ichigo was overcome by rage over the death of Orihime, and he would avenge her.
The sky began to turn black as red sun appeared all across the sky, and massive ceros started raining down on the ruins of Las Noches.
Ocuil had to admit this was a worthy attack and began preparing to release his proper form.
Ocuil expanded rapidly as his wings grew to 20 meters long, and his horns were now 5 meters long. Ocuil looked like he was sent to damn all of creation.
The Ceros descending upon the ruins of Las Noches annihilated everything in its wake. Thousands of hollows were decided in this explosion, and the shock waves echoed for thousands of kilometers.
Ocuil had survived the blast at a cost, but one of his eyes of truth was gone. Ichigo rapidly appeared before Ocuil and began slashing wildly. Ichigo's powers kept increasing and increasing quickly as his horns grew longer and his eyes grew darker.
Ocuil decided to pull out his crimson scythe and began to clash with Ichigo.
The skies trembled, and the grounds scorched at the intensity of this battle. The ruins of Las Noches would serve as a graveyard for eternity.
The clash was intense for Ichigo and Ocuil, and their wounds rapidly increased. These were not minor wounds; they were significant wounds that caused problems during combat, yet they kept fighting and would not stop.
The clash continued for another two hours before Ocuil finally collapsed on the ground. Ichigo was mortally injured, yet he raised his sword with a maniacal smile to deal the final blow. Instead, he stopped.
Ichigo's instincts screamed at him, and he decided to listen. He walked to where Orihime's body remained, gently picking her up and brushing her hair.
Orihimes' body was cold, and no ounce of life was visible.
Ichigo then walked over to Ocuil, who was still on the ground trying to recover from the continuous battle, wondering what Ichigo was doing. Ocuil spoke for the final time: "Death comes to all eventually. Even immortality can only bring you so far in the climb for power, but what you lose on the way may never be worth it". Suddenly, Ichigo began brutally mauling Ocuil to death. Ocuil felt agony in his last moments as his head was crushed.
With its power, Ichigo tore out Ocuil's heart and transferred it to Orihime.
Ichigo began transferring his power to Orihime, trying to resurrect her, but he felt it wasn't working. Black tears started falling down Ichigo's face as his beloved might now be truly gone forever. Ichigo wondered what he could have done differently or if Ocuil had had some truth in what he said.
Ichigo realized his weakness caused this all and that if he had been strong enough, he could have protected what he had. Ichigo didn't have to lose it all, yet because of his weakness, he did. Ichigo didn't know what he was supposed to do now, and he wondered what the rest of his life would be like.
Ichigo wondered how long he would have to suffer alone and destitute to die in the empty void of Hueco Mundo. All of Ichigo's troops died, and his beloved for nothing.
Ichigo's mind began to crack when he realized his actions. He considered death the only option, and maybe then he could see his beloved once more. Ichigo stopped his train of thought, as Orihime would not have wanted him to travel down this path, yet silence was the only answer he would receive.
Massive spiritual pressure descended as Ichigo was thrown back. Orihime's body lifted, and a black flame engulfed her entire being. Ichigo was confused and did not attempt to stop what was happening as his instincts had yet to be wrong.
Hueco Mundo shuddered as such massive spiritual pressure descended upon where Orihime was currently. Ichigo could only watch as she started to transform into a Vasto Lorde. Orihimes eyes changed to a dark pinkish color while horns grew outwards. Orihime's horns had four horns, two in the back and two in the front of her head, but they were smaller than Ichigo's by a fair bit.
Four angel-like wings popped from her back as she slowly descended to the ground and landed softly. Orihime's glowing pinkish eyes looked around before staring at Ichigo. Ichigo had no clue this would happen and only hoped something would happen, yet he was concerned because he didn't know if it was still his Orihime standing across from him.
Ichigo watched in silence as this new Orihime looked at her surroundings and right back at him. He attempted to speak, but nothing came out. Then, a realization hit him. Ichigo thought about what Ocuil said and wondered if this was what he lost for power. Ichigo continued to attempt to speak, yet nothing could change the sorrow in his heart. What if Orihime left or didn't recognize him? How was he supposed to explain if he could not speak??
Instead of feeling rage, Ichigo felt sadness for once as he looked at the endless desert sands. Ichigo felt despair as two hands reached around him and pulled him close.
Ichigo held tightly as black tears streamed down his face. Orihime looked into his eyes and caressed his face. Ichigo felt renewed within the depths of his soul, as if a part he had lost had returned to him. Ichigo again tried to speak, thinking it could be so, yet nothing came out. With just a flick of her hand, Orihime noticed this. Ichigo was showered in a golden light.
Ichigo, trusting in Orihime, spoke, "Or… him…e. Yo..u hav..e co..m.e bac..k t..o me" in a broken voice that echoed joy. Orihime looked back into his eyes and kissed him dearly, for she was glad to have returned. Orihime was still the one he loved desperately, and she loved him just as much. They both turn to the skies of Hueco Mundo as the Moon in the sky and midnight sky is to be the only thing seen. Ichigo holds Orihimes hand as they sit silently, reminiscent of all that transpired. Ichigo still had his speaking problem, but he could at least say these few words.
"Isn't the moon beautiful tonight?" Orihime replies, "It's true, isn't it?"
