Shihouin Yoruichi stopped abruptly with a swish. "Ehhh—" Su Li slammed the brakes, nearly spilling his soda as half of it splashed out. "What are you doing? I'm almost out of happy water…" he muttered in irritation.

Yoruichi ignored him. Her expression had turned tense; even at full speed, she couldn't shake him off. Escape was no longer an option, and fighting him was even riskier. His strength was monstrous, his Hakuda and Shunpo both surpassing hers by an alarming margin.

Damn it, when had Soul Society created a monster like this? She cursed Urahara Kisuke silently for his useless, lazy briefings that always lost her halfway through. All she remembered was the broad strokes: full marks in Hakuda and Shunpo, a man who had defeated both Sui-Feng and even Zaraki Kenpachi. But was "full marks" truly this terrifying?

Keeping her eyes locked on Su Li, she tensed, ready for anything. Su Li, on the other hand, casually tossed away his empty snack wrapper without concern. "Why are you running? I'm not here to hurt you…"

Yoruichi narrowed her eyes, suspicious. "Then why chase me like a dog with a bone?!"

He raised both hands in a non-threatening gesture. "I was just returning your kunai…"

She didn't believe that for a second. Captain-class Shinigami had only one reason to be deployed—to arrest the exiles. Her expression darkened as she began to unwrap the cloth bandage around her arm, fingers gripping it tightly. In her mind, only one of them would be walking away from this.

Seeing her prepare for battle, Su Li quickly waved his hands. "Wait! Don't be like that, Miss Yoruichi. I'm really not here to capture you."

She sneered at him. "Still pretending you're not a dog of Central 46?!"

He solemnly held up three fingers. "I swear—I'm their dad."

Yoruichi blinked at the audacity. "You know joking about Central 46 is a criminal offense, right? Even if you did capture us, saying something like that could land you in contempt of the royal court." Her gaze sharpened. "If you're going to lie, at least make it a good one."

Grinning, Su Li replied, "Fine—I'll say it again. I'm their dad."

She stared at him for a moment, then burst out laughing. "Haha, you really say anything. I'm starting to like you." Her amusement quickly faded as caution returned to her voice. "So—if not to arrest me… why are you here?"

It was clear she didn't just want an answer about his presence—she wanted to know why he'd pursued her.

Su Li met her gaze steadily. "I want to meet Urahara Kisuke."

"No way!!" she snapped, her aura flaring as she dropped into a combat stance. "Still an agent! I knew it! If you want to find Urahara, step over my body first!"

In an instant, she lashed out with the bandage, wrapping it around him to bind him. "Bakudō No. 61: Rikujōkōrō!" she cried, as six golden rods of light slammed into place, locking him down.

Su Li blinked in surprise. Yoruichi using Kidō? That was rare. But clearly, she hadn't lost her edge. Without hesitation, she activated Shunko and launched herself at him, fist aimed directly for his skull.

He sighed, exasperated. Why were both master and student so aggressive? Sui-Feng was tiny, sure—but Yoruichi?

He raised his arm just in time.

The bandage shattered with a snap. Rikujōkōrō cracked apart like glass. A raw burst of energy exploded outward. Yoruichi's eyes went wide—her full-power punch had been caught mid-air by his fingers.

That bandage was a Shihouin heirloom, capable of suppressing even Bankai-level power. Rikujōkōrō was designed to fully immobilize Captain-class Shinigami. Yet this man had broken both like they were made of paper and caught her strongest punch like it was nothing more than a pillow.

Was he even human?

Su Li's gaze remained calm as ever. "Can we talk now?"

Yoruichi, stunned and silent, found herself unable to answer. This girl needed a lesson—and sometimes, unruly kids only learned through more direct methods. Su Li twisted her wrist gently, flipping her midair with ease.

She panicked and struck with her free hand, but he caught that too, leaving both her arms restrained.

"Let's have a nice chat—" he began, but then paused, no longer looking at her.

His eyes were fixed behind her, calm and knowing.

With a faint smile, he spoke softly, "Mr. Urahara."
