Suì Fēng dodged swiftly, her eyes filled with disbelief as she looked over at him.

But before she could process it further, another wind blade came slicing through the air, cutting through the thick white mist surrounding them.

Gritting her teeth, Suì Fēng leapt aside to avoid it. At the same time, she shouted, "Kasugawa! Get out of here! This is a trap! There's—"

Before she could finish her sentence, an overwhelming and twisted spiritual pressure descended from above, crashing down directly on Shigure.

Her pupils shrank in alarm. It was that same raven-like Hollow again!

"Get out of the way!!" she roared, her voice filled with urgency as she saw Shigure standing still, seemingly nonchalant.

Although she knew how powerful Shigure was, taking a direct hit from this attack would undoubtedly leave him seriously injured. But Shigure acted as if he hadn't heard her. Instead, he smiled faintly and gently raised his hand.

In his palm was a transparent orb, within which danced tiny white sparks of light.

The next moment, a massive surge of golden lightning erupted from the orb, roaring upwards with unstoppable force toward the raven Hollow above.

The golden lightning tore through the air, dispersing the surrounding mist in an instant. As the lightning condensed and spiraled upward, it transformed into a sharp, spear-like weapon of pure energy.

Thud!

In the blink of an eye, the raven Hollow was impaled by the lightning spear, its body left suspended mid-air, skewered by the golden weapon.

Suì Fēng froze in disbelief at the sight. This lightning… She couldn't possibly forget its form! It was the same as Shigure's Shikai ability, Thunderstorm!

But… how was he able to wield such immense lightning power without even releasing his Zanpakutō?

Her astonished gaze locked onto Shigure, her pupils constricting. Shigure, with a casual wave of his hand, flung the raven Hollow's lifeless body aside.

A satisfied smile spread across Shigure's face. The Lightning Sealing Device created by Mayuri Kurotsuchi was truly remarkable. Just now, he had only infused a tiny amount of spiritual energy into it, yet the power it unleashed far surpassed any mid-level Hadō spells.

"No wonder Captain Mayuri is so obsessed with this thing," Shigure mused, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.

Just then, noticing a wind blade hurtling toward Suì Fēng, Shigure called out, "Captain Suì Fēng, watch out!"

Whoosh!

Still stunned by what she had just witnessed, Suì Fēng barely managed to react in time. She executed a Shunpo to evade the attack, narrowly escaping harm.

"Captain Suì Fēng… need a hand?" Shigure stepped closer to the barrier, raising his hand.

Hearing this, Suì Fēng snapped out of her daze and immediately shouted, "Don't touch it!"

But before she could finish her warning, Shigure had already placed his hand on the spiritual barrier.

In that instant, he was pulled inside.

Suì Fēng gritted her teeth and said, "This barrier is strange! External spiritual pressure can penetrate it easily, but it has no substantial impact on the barrier itself! However, once inside, any spiritual pressure that comes into contact with the barrier is instantly homogenized!"

This was why her earlier use of Raikōhō had backfired on her. The moment the Raikōhō struck the barrier, it was immediately homogenized and redirected as an attack against her.

Hearing her explanation, Shigure nodded thoughtfully. That would also explain why Suì Fēng's spiritual pressure had seemingly vanished in the eyes of the Stealth Force members.

"What… what did you say?" Suì Fēng stammered, momentarily taken aback.

"I wanted to help you, which is why I acted. That's not recklessness," Shigure said with a calm smile.

Facing the barrier, he raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

Snap.

The sound echoed, and all the surrounding noise abruptly ceased.

A faint explosion followed.

Bang!

The barrier, which had been releasing wind blades, shattered completely at the sound of his snap. Shimmering fragments of the barrier dissolved into streams of spiritual particles, scattering like a gentle breeze.

The flow of spiritual particles stirred the air, lifting Suì Fēng's short hair slightly.

She stood there, utterly stunned.

Turning back with a warm smile, Shigure said, "See? In a situation where I can resolve the crisis, my actions aren't reckless at all."

Suì Fēng's pupils flickered, and she quickly turned her head away, her face faintly red. "Y-You idiot!" she shouted.

"Huh?" Shigure blinked in confusion.

"If you had this kind of power, why didn't you use it from the start?!" she demanded, her voice rising.

Hearing this, Shigure let out a soft laugh. "I just wanted to see what made this barrier so unique."

"But now I know… Even though it was constructed using a Zanpakutō, it's fundamentally no different from other barriers."

Suì Fēng, still facing away from him, stiffened slightly at his words.

"A Zanpakutō?" she murmured.

"That's right," Shigure nodded. "This isn't a Kido barrier… It was created using a Zanpakutō."

He turned to face the northwest, his smile deepening. "And the one who released their Zanpakutō has been watching us from that direction the entire time."

Hearing this, Suì Fēng immediately turned to look in the indicated direction. Her face was still tinged with redness, but her expression now carried a sharp seriousness.

"Kasugawa… Are you saying the one who attacked me is…?"

Shigure smiled faintly. "That's right. It's one of the exiles from the Near Abyss Squad."
