Karakura Town, Karakura First Senior High School.

Aaron, who had just finished teaching a class, began packing up his lesson materials.

Looking at the lively students chatting among themselves, he smiled softly and said, "Ah, youth is such a wonderful thing."

After completing his day's work, Aaron made his way toward his residence.

A loud commotion from not far away caught his attention.

"What do you want, kid?!"

A young man in a white hat, dressed in a hip-hop style, yelled angrily at a teenager with spiky orange hair.

"You're the one who kicked over the hill, aren't you?"

The orange-haired boy, surrounded by a small group of punks, merely hummed dismissively.

The white-hatted youth's face contorted with anger. He clenched his fist and moved to strike the boy, but before he could land a blow, the orange-haired teen swiftly kicked him, sending him sprawling to the ground.

The teen didn't stop there; he stepped on the youth's face with force, showing no intention of mercy.

The defeated boy quickly pleaded for forgiveness, while his companions stood frozen, their nervous gazes fixed on the orange-haired teen.

"W-What a monster!" one of them stammered, pointing a trembling finger at him.

The orange-haired boy, Kurosaki Ichigo, didn't bother to reply. Instead, he pointed to a nearby utility pole. "Look over there!" he barked.

Following his gaze, the gang noticed a shattered glass bottle with wilting flowers lying next to the pole. Memories of them recklessly knocking it over during their skateboarding escapade flooded back.

Realizing their mistake, they stammered apologies, but Ichigo didn't wait. With swift movements, he had most of them down in seconds.

"If I catch you punks here again, you'll be apologizing to flowers instead of me!" Ichigo shouted.

Terrified, the group scrambled away in a hurry.

Ichigo walked over to the utility pole and carefully propped up the broken glass bottle. "I'll bring you fresh flowers tomorrow," he muttered, seemingly to himself.

A faint figure materialized near the pole—a little girl with twin ponytails. Smiling warmly, she said, "Thank you, big brother, for helping me. Now I can rest in peace."

At that moment, Aaron arrived, carrying his briefcase. He smiled gently. "What a coincidence, Kurosaki."

Ichigo snorted softly in response and walked away without a word.

Aaron watched him leave, shook his head with a chuckle, and continued on his way.

Twenty years had passed in the blink of an eye. Aaron had become a teacher at Karakura First Senior High School, where he was now the homeroom teacher for Kurosaki Ichigo and his friends: Inoue Orihime, Ishida Uryū, and Sado Yasutora.

Back at his residence, Aaron sat on his couch, deep in thought. For two decades, he had been researching how to unlock his Bankai.

Since encountering Shiba Isshin and others, Aaron had made significant progress in understanding the spiritual mechanics of Bankai. His Zanpakutō, Taotie , had the unique ability to absorb enemy Reiryoku and environmental energy, storing and releasing it when needed.

Though the stored energy was a mere fraction compared to his own massive Reiryoku of 300,000, it accumulated steadily over time. Aaron discovered that the key to achieving Bankai was allowing the stored Reiryoku to reach a critical threshold.

Over his millennia in the Soul Society, Aaron's strength had plateaued. He realized the most practical way to accelerate his progress was by defeating strong opponents and absorbing their Reiryoku.

Now, he knew the timeline well: Aizen's Hōgyoku experiments were nearing completion. He decided to wait until Kurosaki Ichigo's potential had fully awakened and until Aizen's plans came to fruition. Only then would he move forward.

"To me, even the Espada are just stepping stones," Aaron murmured to himself.

Feeling optimistic, he ate a simple meal before heading out for an evening stroll.

Walking through the dimly lit streets, he passed an izakaya. After a quick drink, he wandered through Karakura's quiet nighttime scenery.

He soon noticed a black-haired girl in a shihakushō approaching—Rukia Kuchiki. She seemed deep in thought, scanning her surroundings for traces of a Hollow.

Aaron watched her intently. As she passed him, Rukia hesitated and glanced back.

"Is it my imagination?" she wondered. "Why does it feel like that man was looking directly at me? Ordinary humans shouldn't be able to see a Shinigami…"

Shaking her head, Rukia dismissed the thought and pressed on. She had a mission to complete.

A sudden, eerie noise snapped her attention toward the direction of a nearby alley. She placed her hand on her Zanpakutō, ready to investigate.
