Chapter 10: Til Quest Do Us Part
The next morning, sunlight gently filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over Kazuma and Luna as they lay wrapped in each other's arms. Luna stirred, stretching with a soft sigh, her body still basking in the afterglow of the previous night. She smiled to herself, glancing over at Kazuma, who was still half-asleep beside her.
Kazuma opened one eye lazily, his hand reaching out to pull her closer. "Morning," he murmured, his voice thick with sleep as he nuzzled his face into her neck, then he moved down and kissed her breasts and massaged them "How'd you sleep?"
Luna giggled softly, her fingers tracing patterns on his chest. "Better than ever," she replied, her heart full as she enjoyed the peaceful moment. She kissed his cheek before sitting up, her hair cascading down her shoulders as she stretched.
"We should probably get up and make breakfast," she said, though there was a hint of reluctance in her voice. "I've got to head to the Guild soon, and you know how Aqua gets your late."
Kazuma groaned, pulling her back down playfully. "Five more minutes," he whined, his arms wrapping around her waist. "You're way more comfortable than any pillow."
Luna laughed, giving in for a moment before finally pushing herself up. "Alright, alright. I'll make us something quick." She winked at him before slipping out of bed and throwing on her robe.
As Luna moved around the kitchen, preparing a simple breakfast of eggs and toast, Kazuma joined her, still sleepy but more awake now. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder as she cooked.
"You know," Kazuma said, his voice teasing, "last night was pretty great. It was great how I licked in between you're legs and you gave me a titty fuck" Kazuma blushed while looking away.
Luna blushed, her cheeks warming as she flipped the eggs in the pan. "Stop flattering me so early in the morning," she teased, though the smile on her face betrayed how much she enjoyed his attention.
They ate their breakfast together, chatting casually about their plans for the day. Kazuma occasionally reached out to hold her hand, their fingers intertwining as they shared quiet moments between bites. It was a simple, domestic scene, but for both of them, it felt perfect.
After breakfast, Luna sighed, standing up and stretching. "I should get going," she said, though she didn't move right away. "The Guild doesn't run itself."
Kazuma stood with her, holding her hand a little longer. "You sure you don't want to take the day off? We could just… relax," he suggested, a playful smirk on his lips, he wanted to explore her body again.
Luna rolled her eyes, though she couldn't help but smile. "You know I can't do that. But I'll be thinking about you," she said, leaning in to give him a quick kiss. "Try not to get into too much trouble while I'm gone."
Kazuma grinned, watching her head out the door. "No promises! And besides I'm going there too heh."
At the Guild, Luna tried her best to focus on her duties, but her mind kept wandering back to Kazuma. She smiled dreamily as she sorted through mission requests and handed out assignments to adventurers. Everything felt brighter, easier somehow, as if the weight of the world had lifted now that she had someone like Kazuma in her life.
But as the morning wore on, Luna found it harder and harder to concentrate. She caught herself staring into space, her heart fluttering as she remembered the way Kazuma had held her, how he made her feel special and cherished. The warmth of those memories filled her with a sense of contentment she had never known before, the way they always had sex, the way he would always massage her breasts, and fuck her right after, she never felt like a complete woman, he would take off the clip holding her hair and it fell down onto her shoulders, making her feel so much more attractive.
"Luna? Hellooo?" A voice snapped her out of her daze. One of her fellow Guild employees, a young woman with messy brown hair, was waving a hand in front of her face. "You've been staring off into space for the last five minutes. Are you okay?"
Luna blinked, blushing furiously as she realized she had completely zoned out. "Oh! I'm fine," she said quickly, her voice soft and a little lovestruck. "Just… thinking about something."
The employee raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Uh-huh. Well, whatever it is, it must be pretty great because you've been smiling like an idiot all morning."
Luna laughed nervously, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, it is pretty great," she admitted, her heart racing as she thought of Kazuma.
The employee shook her head with a chuckle. "Lovebird problems, huh? Just don't let it distract you too much. We've got a lot of missions to sort through."
Luna nodded, trying to pull herself together. "Right, right. Sorry about that."
As she flipped through the stack of mission requests, something caught her eye—a job involving disguising two people as a bride and groom to infiltrate a high-society event. Her heart skipped a beat as she remembered a similar mission from the past, but this time, the idea of her and Kazuma in that scenario made her blush deeply.
Her mind raced as she imagined it: Kazuma in a sharp suit, her in a beautiful white dress, playing the part of a newlywed couple. They'd have to pretend to be madly in love in front of everyone—though, in her case, it wouldn't be much of an act. She could already picture the teasing comments he'd make, the way he'd pull her close, whispering something ridiculous but sweet in her ear.
Her daydreams spiraled further, imagining the two of them navigating the party together, Kazuma's arm around her waist as they worked to complete the mission. She could practically hear his smug voice in her head, teasing her about how convincing they looked as a couple.
Luna's cheeks burned, and she shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. Focus, Luna, she told herself. It's just a mission. No need to get carried away.
But despite her best efforts, the thought lingered in the back of her mind. Maybe—just maybe—she could suggest taking the mission with Kazuma. After all, it was part of her job, right? It wouldn't hurt to play pretend for a little while… even if it felt like something more.
A/N: My dumbass missed a page that I wrote and forgot to type it in the story, sorry if the cut was confusing, Usually Luna is supposed to brief them on what to do 10/10/24
Later in the day, Kazuma strolled into the Guild with his usual crew—Aqua bouncing beside him, Darkness walking confidently with her armor clanking, and Megumin humming to herself. As they walked past other adventurers, Kazuma's eyes naturally scanned the room for one person. And when he saw her, his face lit up with a casual smile.
"Hey," he called out, his voice smooth as he walked directly over to Luna, who was busy at the reception desk.
Luna looked up, and the moment their eyes met, her heart skipped a beat. She felt her cheeks warm, but she couldn't help the girlish smile across her face. "Heeey," she replied softly, giggling a little as she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.
Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness all exchanged glances, but it was Aqua who rolled her eyes first, clearly not in the mood for Kazuma's flirtations.
Kazuma leaned on the counter, resting his chin in his hand as he grinned at Luna. "So, got any good missions for us today?" he asked casually, holding her cheek, though there was a spark in his eye as he looked at her, clearly enjoying her flustered reaction.
Luna tapped her chin thoughtfully, still feeling the warmth of his gaze on her. She pretended to search through the mission requests for a moment before pulling out the one she had been thinking about all morning. She glanced at Kazuma, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she slid the paper across the counter to him. "Well… there's this one that might be fun," she said, her voice soft but playful.
Kazuma raised an eyebrow, glancing down at the mission. His eyes widened slightly as he read it over. "Disguise as a bride and groom to infiltrate a wedding… huh." He looked back at Luna, and when he saw her wink, his grin turned into a smirk. "You don't say…"
Just as Kazuma was starting to picture how this could play out, Aqua suddenly popped up beside him, interrupting the moment. "Ehhhhhh?!" she whined loudly, peeking over his shoulder at the mission request. "What would we even be doing then? Are we supposed to just stand around while you and Luna play dress-up?"
Kazuma rolled his eyes, clearly not in the mood for Aqua's usual complaints. "You'd probably be on distraction duty or something," he muttered, brushing her off as he continued to glance at Luna. "Or maybe you could serve drinks to the guests," he added sarcastically.
Aqua's eyes narrowed in annoyance, puffing out her cheeks. "Excuse me? You think the great Aqua-sama is going to be serving drinks?!" she huffed, crossing her arms indignantly.
Luna stifled a laugh, watching the interaction unfold. She couldn't deny that the idea of her and Kazuma pretending to be newlyweds was exciting—and the fact that he seemed interested only made it better. She cleared her throat, catching Kazuma's attention again.
"It could be a great mission for you," Luna said, leaning forward slightly. "You'll get to wear a suit… and I'll get to wear a wedding dress." She winked again, clearly teasing him, but part of her couldn't help imagining what it would feel like actually to be in that situation with Kazuma.
Kazuma's mind was already wandering, and the teasing tone in Luna's voice didn't help. He was imagining her in a wedding dress, standing beside him, even if it was just for a mission. "I'm starting to like this idea more and more," he admitted with a grin. "I mean, it's work, right?"
Megumin finally spoke up, her voice dripping with excitement. "A wedding infiltration mission? Count me in! I bet I could set off some great explosions as a diversion." Her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, clearly already envisioning the chaos she could cause.
Darkness, on the other hand, looked thoughtful. "A mission requiring us to infiltrate high society… disguised as a bride and groom? That sounds… elegant. And dangerous." She blushed slightly, already daydreaming about the noble setting, imagining herself in various perilous scenarios.
Kazuma smirked as he looked back at Luna. "Looks like everyone's on board. I guess we'll take the mission." He picked up the request form and slid it into his bag. "Just one question though… who's going to be the bride and groom?"
Luna's blush deepened as she met his gaze. "I think that's obvious, don't you?" she said softly, her eyes twinkling with affection.
Kazuma chuckled, clearly pleased with how things were turning out. "Alright then," he said, pushing away from the counter. "Looks like we've got ourselves a mission." He turned to his party with a confident grin. "Let's get ready to crash a wedding."
Aqua groaned dramatically. "I swear, this better not turn into one of those romantic dramas… or worse, a real wedding!" she made barf sounds, she had a bad feeling that Kazuma and Luna were actually going to marry because of this but she followed along with the rest of the group, not wanting to be left out of the action.
Kazuma and his party found themselves in the bustling town of Arcanletia, a place known for its high-society events, lavish parties, and wealthy patrons. It was a far cry from the familiar chaos of Axel, but their mission had led them here: to infiltrate a prestigious wedding banquet and retrieve a priceless artifact that had been stolen and smuggled out of Axel. The artifact, a magical amulet said to protect its wearer from curses, had been taken by none other than Count Renford, a notorious high-society figure with a reputation for underhanded dealings.
Luna had briefed them before they all left together, explaining that the amulet was a crucial asset for Axel's Guild, and losing it to Renford would mean trouble for the adventurers. The plan was simple: Kazuma and Luna would pose as a newlywed couple attending the banquet while Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness would act as their entourage, blending into the background as they navigated the event. Their goal? To retrieve the stolen amulet from Renford's private collection, which he kept hidden in his mansion.
Now, standing outside the grand estate, Kazuma adjusted the collar of his formal suit, feeling slightly out of place in such fancy attire. Next to him, Luna was dressed in an elegant wedding gown, her cheeks flushed as she fiddled with the veil draped over her head.
"You look great," Kazuma said with a teasing grin, though there was a hint of genuine admiration in his voice.
Luna smiled nervously, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Thanks… You don't look too bad yourself," she replied, her heart racing. Despite the mission, the idea of posing as Kazuma's bride—even if it was just pretending—was both exciting and nerve-wracking, she loved being his unofficial wife, she even painted her nails red for this which Kazuma adored.
Aqua, who was wearing a simple but elegant servant's dress, sighed dramatically beside them. "Ugh, why do I have to wear this boring outfit?" she whined, tugging at the fabric. "I should be the center of attention, not some fake bride!"
Kazuma rolled his eyes. "We're not here for attention, Aqua. Just stick to the plan and try not to cause too much trouble."
Megumin, who was wearing a sleek black dress, looked around excitedly. "High society, huh? This is going to be so much fun! I can't wait to see if there's an opportunity for some well-timed explosions," she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Darkness, in a formal gown that still managed to look battle-ready, nodded solemnly. "This is no time for recklessness. We must stay focused on retrieving the amulet. Though…" She blushed slightly, her imagination running wild. "I can't deny the thrill of being surrounded by such high-profile individuals. The danger… it's exhilarating."
Kazuma ignored her usual fantasies and took a deep breath. "Alright, let's do this."
As Kazuma, Luna, and the rest of the group made their way into the grand ballroom, blending seamlessly with the high-society guests of Arcanletia, they were soon approached by Count Renford. His sharp eyes assessed them, his expression curious yet suspicious.
"Well, well, I don't believe we've met before," Renford began, his tone polite but probing. "Who might you all be?"
Kazuma, keeping his cool, smiled confidently. "Ah, apologies for the lack of introductions. I'm Kaze," he said smoothly, stepping into the role of a newly arrived guest. He then gestured to Luna, who stood beside him, blushing slightly. "And this is my newly wedded wife, Layla. We just got married an hour ago."
Luna blushed even more at her fake name, but she managed to nod with a nervous smile. "That's right," she added softly, squeezing Kazuma's arm for reassurance.
Kazuma continued, unfazed. "We were planning to organize a celebration after this, but when we saw your beautiful event, we simply had to join. We're new in town, and we thought, why not? We're certainly not here to crash anything."
With a playful glint in his eye, he turned to Luna and said, "Isn't that right, honey?"
Luna nodded a bit more confidently this time. "Y-Yes, exactly," she replied, her voice still sweet and nervous. "We couldn't resist."
Count Renford's eyes flickered between them, his suspicion lingering but not strong enough to outright challenge their story. Kazuma's arm remained securely around Luna's waist, giving her the support she needed to play her role.
"And these," Kazuma continued, motioning toward Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness, "are our maidens, here to assist us with the festivities."
Aqua, eager to be noticed, stepped forward with an enthusiastic smile. "I'm Annette!" she exclaimed, almost forgetting to use her fake name. "And I'm in charge of party tricks! I can really liven things up—trust me!"
Kazuma stifled a sigh, hoping her eagerness wouldn't blow their cover. Despite Aqua's fame in Arcanletia, none of the guests seemed to recognize her as the goddess they worshipped, much to her confusion.
Darkness took a more serious approach, bowing slightly. "I'm Lucia, another one of the bride's maidens," she said, keeping her tone formal. "We're here to assist in any way."
Megumin, ever dramatic, gave a sweeping bow. "I am Margaret, at your service. Should you need anything, do not hesitate to ask."
Count Renford's suspicion wavered as he observed their seemingly innocent group. After a brief moment, he laughed heartily, his previous concerns melting away. "A newlywed couple and their maidens, you say? How delightful! You're more than welcome here. You're certainly not crashing anything—on the contrary, it's always a pleasure to meet new faces."
Kazuma breathed a small sigh of relief. "Thank you, Count Renford. We appreciate your hospitality."
Renford smiled and nodded, excusing himself to tend to other guests. Once he was out of earshot, Aqua leaned in with a grumble. "I can't believe no one recognized me! This entire town worships me, and yet I'm standing right here, and they don't even blink!"
Kazuma rolled his eyes. "Be grateful for once. The last thing we need is to attract attention. We're here for the amulet, not your ego."
Luna, still blushing from her role as Kazuma's bride, whispered nervously, "That was close…"
Kazuma gave her a quick, reassuring smile. "You did great. Just stick close to me, and we'll get through this."
As the evening continued, Kazuma and Luna discreetly excused themselves from the bustling ballroom, slipping through a side door that led to a quieter hallway. The mission was clear: the stolen amulet was supposedly hidden somewhere in one of the rooms upstairs. With the lively noise of the party fading behind them, they moved cautiously toward the staircase leading to the upper floors.
Luna's heart raced with both nerves and excitement. Kazuma, on the other hand, was focused, glancing around to ensure they weren't being watched. He grabbed Luna's hand, guiding her up the stairs, and they kept their heads low, trying to blend into the shadows.
Once they reached the second floor, they scanned the hallway lined with closed doors. "It should be one of these," Kazuma whispered, his eyes sharp.
Just as they were about to approach the first door, a guard appeared from around the corner, startling them both.
"Hey, what are you two doing up here?" the guard asked, suspicion clear in his voice. His eyes flicked between Kazuma and Luna, clearly not buying their presence in such an off-limits area.
Kazuma, ever quick on his feet, flashed a nervous but charming smile. "Ah, you see, my wife and I," he gestured toward Luna, who blushed on cue, "well, we just got married today, and we wanted a moment of privacy. You know how these grand events can be… overwhelming." He let out a nervous chuckle for added effect.
The guard raised an eyebrow. "Privacy?"
Kazuma nodded, leaning in conspiratorially. "We've barely had a moment to ourselves since the ceremony. The crowd downstairs… it's too much. We're just looking for a quiet room to… celebrate, if you catch my drift." He gave the guard a knowing look and squeezed Luna's hand, as if playing into the role of an eager groom. Luna, though mortified, gave a small, embarrassed nod.
The guard looked between them, clearly uncomfortable. He sighed deeply, rubbing his forehead. "Alright, alright, I get it," he said, waving his hand dismissively. "Just… make sure you keep it down, and don't go wandering where you shouldn't be."
Kazuma saluted the guard, a grin creeping onto his face. "Of course! Thanks, man, you're a lifesaver."
The guard muttered something under his breath and continued down the hallway, leaving them alone once more. As soon as he was out of sight, Luna exhaled, her heart pounding. "That was close," she whispered, still blushing from the embarrassment of Kazuma's "elaborate excuse."
Kazuma chuckled softly, "Hey, it worked, didn't it?" He gave her a playful grin before turning back to the task at hand. They crept toward one of the rooms, Kazuma carefully testing the door. It was unlocked. Slowly, they pushed it open and slipped inside.
The room was lavish, filled with expensive furniture and decor, but their eyes were drawn to a large cabinet against the far wall. "Let's check there," Kazuma whispered.
They carefully searched through the drawers and shelves until, finally, Luna spotted something tucked in the corner. "Here it is!" she said quietly, pulling out a small, intricately designed amulet. It shimmered faintly in the dim light, the very item they had come to retrieve.
Kazuma's eyes lit up. "Perfect. Now let's get out of here before anyone notices it's missing."
As Kazuma and Luna made their way back downstairs with the amulet safely tucked away, the atmosphere in the grand ballroom had shifted. Aqua had somehow found herself the center of attention, surrounded by curious guests who were awestruck by her impromptu magic show. She was in her element, basking in the admiration of the crowd.
"Behold!" Aqua declared dramatically, holding up her hands as she conjured shimmering streams of water that danced gracefully through the air. The water twisted and turned, creating intricate shapes and patterns that dazzled the onlookers. "A true goddess of water can manipulate the very essence of the elements!"
The crowd gasped and applauded, mesmerized by Aqua's display. Some of the guests even whispered excitedly to each other, trying to recall where they had heard of such magic before.
Darkness stood nearby, arms crossed and watching the scene unfold. She sighed heavily, clearly unimpressed by Aqua's theatrics. "I can't believe she's doing this right now," she muttered under her breath.
Megumin stood next to her, her staff resting lazily on her shoulder. She shook her head, equally unimpressed. "I know, right? I thought she'd at least be subtle for once." She watched as Aqua continued her performance, twirling around dramatically as the water formed glowing orbs that floated above the crowd. "This is supposed to be a stealth mission, not Aqua's magic talent show."
Darkness let out another sigh, her eyes flicking toward the stairway, hoping to see Kazuma and Luna making their way back. "They need to hurry up before Aqua draws too much attention. It's only a matter of time before someone realizes we're not actually invited here."
As if on cue, Aqua created a final, grand display, causing water to form a giant, glimmering lotus flower that slowly bloomed in mid-air. The crowd erupted in applause, completely enamored with her performance. Aqua bowed dramatically, basking in the attention.
"Ehhhh, thank you, thank you! You're all too kind!" Aqua said with a satisfied grin, clearly loving every moment of the praise.
Darkness pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration. "We really don't have time for this," she muttered.
Megumin leaned in closer, whispering, "Maybe Kazuma and Luna are having trouble upstairs. Should we go check on them?"
Darkness shook her head, her eyes still on the stairs. "We need to keep an eye on Aqua before she causes even more of a scene. Besides, Kazuma can handle it." She glanced at Aqua, who was now laughing and shaking hands with some of the guests. "I hope."
As Darkness scanned the room, her sharp eyes finally caught sight of Kazuma and Luna descending the grand staircase. She breathed a sigh of relief and quickly tapped Megumin on the shoulder, signaling that their comrades were back. Megumin turned to look, nodding as she spotted Kazuma holding up a discreet hand signal, indicating that they had the amulet and it was time to leave.
Without wasting a moment, Megumin slipped through the crowd and tapped Aqua's shoulder mid-performance. "Aqua, we need to go now," she whispered urgently.
Aqua, who had just summoned another dazzling water display, blinked in surprise. "Ehhhh, but I was just getting started!" she protested quietly.
"No time for that!" Megumin hissed, pulling her away from the applauding guests. "Kazuma got the item, and we need to leave before anyone notices!"
Aqua pouted but reluctantly followed, and the four of them subtly began making their way toward the exit. Just as they were nearing the door, a loud voice echoed through the ballroom.
"Stop right there!"
It was Count Renford. His eyes were locked on Kazuma, and his face twisted with anger. "You've taken something that belongs to me!"
The crowd gasped, turning their attention toward the commotion. The guards, too, were alerted, surrounding Kazuma and his party, their weapons drawn.
Kazuma gritted his teeth, muttering under his breath. "Of course this would happen..."
Count Renford stepped forward, his voice booming. "I should have known something was amiss the moment I laid eyes on you lot. Give back the amulet now, or you'll regret stepping foot in my estate!"
The guards began closing in, their blades gleaming under the chandelier light.
"Megumin, Aqua!" Kazuma called out. "We're going to need some magic here!"
Aqua smirked, ready to prove herself again. "Leave it to me!" She raised her staff, summoning a powerful torrent of water that erupted from the ground, pushing several guards back and causing chaos in the room. Guests screamed and hurried to the far side of the ballroom, trying to avoid the magical clash.
"Explosion magic would probably be too much in here..." Megumin muttered, but she still had tricks up her sleeve. She raised her staff and chanted, releasing a barrage of smaller magical blasts that knocked out a few guards and disrupted their formation.
Kazuma grabbed Luna's hand, pulling her close as the chaos unfolded. "Luna, stay close! It's going to get rough!"
Just as they made a move for the exit, a guard lunged at Luna, swinging his sword. Luna's eyes widened in shock, unable to react in time.
"Watch out!" Kazuma yelled, quickly casting his Create Earth spell. A wall of earth erupted between the guard and Luna, blocking the attack just in time. The guard stumbled back, surprised by Kazuma's quick defense.
Kazuma didn't waste a second. He used Wind Breath, blasting the guard away from Luna, sending him crashing into a nearby table. "Are you okay?" Kazuma asked, gripping her hand tightly.
Luna, still a little shaken, nodded. "That was close... Thank you, Kazuma."
"We've got to move, now!" Kazuma shouted as he and Luna darted toward the exit.
Darkness, who had been holding off several guards with her shield, saw her companions making their escape and began retreating as well. "Let's go!"
The party bolted for the door, the guards still in pursuit, while Aqua and Megumin unleashed one final wave of spells to slow them down. Aqua created a massive whirlpool, engulfing the guards in a swirling vortex of water, while Megumin summoned a wall of fire, cutting off their pursuit.
The ballroom was in utter chaos. Guests screamed and scrambled for cover, terrified by the sudden battle unfolding in front of them. Count Renford stood fuming, helpless as the magic-filled room prevented him from getting to Kazuma and his party.
Finally, with the amulet secured and their mission accomplished, Kazuma, Luna, and the rest of the group burst through the doors and into the night, disappearing into the shadows of the city.
As they sprinted away from the estate, catching their breath, Kazuma turned to the others with a grin. "Well, that escalated quickly... but at least we got the job done."
Luna smiled at him, still clutching his hand. "You saved me back there."
Kazuma blushed slightly but smirked. "Well, I couldn't let my bride get hurt, now could I?"
Luna giggled, her heart racing from the adventure—and maybe from being so close to Kazuma. Aqua pouted, dusting off her dress. "You're all welcome for my amazing magic, by the way."
Darkness and Megumin just shook their heads, but all of them couldn't help but laugh. Despite the chaos, they had succeeded—just another day for Kazuma and his party.
After a long and chaotic night, Kazuma and his party finally returned to the Guild in Axel. The atmosphere was much calmer than at the estate, and they gathered around the reward counter, eager to collect the fruits of their hard work.
Luna, still in her receptionist mode, handed over their payment. "For the successful completion of your mission and the retrieval of the stolen amulet, here is your reward." She counted out the coins and slid them toward Kazuma, with equal shares for each party member. "Everyone gets the same amount, as usual."
Kazuma smirked, pocketing his share. "Not bad for a night's work."
Megumin and Darkness nodded in agreement as they happily accepted their Eris.
But, of course, Aqua frowned. "Ehhhh?!" she groaned, her arms crossed. "I deserve more than this! I did all the heavy lifting with my water magic. They were awed by me! I should get extra for dazzling the crowd!"
Before Kazuma could even respond, Luna stepped in with a playful smile. She reached over and flicked Aqua's nose lightly. "Be grateful, Aqua. We're doing our best to supply everyone equally. No need to act greedy," Luna teased, wagging her finger at the goddess in mock scolding.
Aqua pouted, rubbing her nose. "Hmph! Easy for you to say, Luna. You're the one who got to wear the wedding dress! I didn't get to wear anything fancy! You're lucky to be with Kazuma, after all!"
Luna blushed at Aqua's teasing and giggled. "Oh, Aqua... You're just upset you didn't get to be the center of attention for once."
Aqua crossed her arms and turned away dramatically. "Well, maybe if I had worn that wedding dress, the crowd would've thrown money at my feet! They worship me, after all!"
Kazuma shook his head, laughing under his breath. "Well, at least now we can all relax... I'm exhausted."
Later that night, Kazuma and Luna found themselves alone in their cozy bed, the faint light of the moon seeping through the curtains. The warmth of the blankets wrapped around them, and the air was filled with a comfortable silence, their tired bodies relaxed from the day's adventure.
Kazuma lay on his back, staring up at the ceiling, reflecting on everything that had happened. He was exhausted, but the weight of Luna's presence beside him made it all feel worth it. Just as he was about to close his eyes, he felt Luna shift beside him. She moved closer, her body pressing against his, her arm gently resting on his chest, she was wearing nothing but her purple bra.
Without saying a word, Luna leaned in and began planting soft kisses on his neck. Kazuma flinched a little at first, surprised by the sudden affection, but soon he relaxed, his lips curling into a faint smile.
"Luna…" he whispered, his voice soft, while also biting her neck softly.
Luna gazed at Kazuma with a soft, thoughtful expression, her fingers continuing to trace small circles on his chest. After a moment of comfortable silence, she leaned in a little closer, her eyes searching his as if she were contemplating something deeper. Her voice, barely more than a whisper, broke the quiet between them.
"Kazuma…" she began, her tone hesitant but filled with warmth. "Maybe we should… be a real husband and wife duo. For real this time."
Kazuma blinked, caught off guard by her words. His usual quick wit didn't come to him as fast as it usually did. "Wait, what?" He turned to face her more directly, raising an eyebrow.
Luna smiled shyly, her face blushing a soft pink. "I mean it," she said, her voice firmer but still gentle. "We've been through so much together, and today, pretending to be your wife… it felt right. I want more than just the pretend, Kazuma. I want to be with you, for real."
Kazuma stared at her, his mind racing, unsure how to process what she was saying. He opened his mouth to respond, but the usual sarcastic remarks didn't come to him. Instead, he found himself feeling strangely flustered.
For once, Kazuma didn't know what to say. He looked into her eyes, the sincerity of her words sinking in. He thought about everything they'd been through—the battles, the laughs, the close calls—and realized that, somewhere along the way, Luna had become more than just his girlfriend. The idea of her as his wife didn't feel out of place.
"I…" Kazuma started, his voice quieter than usual. He gave a small smile, the weight of her words settling over him. "I wouldn't mind that either."
Luna's eyes lit up at his response, and she pulled him closer, kissing him again, this time with more passion.
"Ahhhh!" Her eyes sparkled, she then planted more kissing on him and then guided her hands towards her breasts, making him squeeze them.
"I was actually going to propose to you in the future, it wouldn't be right if I just ignored the issue." Kazuma said
Luna paused for a moment, her heart skipping a beat as she absorbed his words. Her breath caught as her emotions overflowed, and her gaze softened, looking deep into his eyes. "Kazuma..." she whispered, the weight of his confession sinking in. A mixture of joy and surprise filled her chest, making the intimate moment between them all the more meaningful.
So cute, An update coming soon :D
