Blood Lords resurrection

Lucas surveyed his new appearance: short blonde hair framed his face, accompanied by his striking black eyes. And stop of his muscular build. He wore a long black trench coat, which fitted him perfectly with a black scabbard which hung from his waist, housing a katana with a sleek black hilt. On his feet, he sported black laced sneakers. This was the style he had copied from Gary, adapting himself to blend in with the locals of the continent he had found himself in.

In that moment, Lucas realized he didn't need to wander westward, hoping to accidentally discover a village or city that would welcome outsiders. Instead, he could head in the direction where Gary and the screaming child had fled. Now looking like any other ordinary human he felt no need to flee he turned and headed east.

As he walked, Lucas focused on empowering and purifying the blood essence he had recently acquired. Using the rank 3 essence he had gained by absorbing the blood essence of his deceased family. Lucas saw no reason to keep it in his essence pool until he reached rank 3, where he could finally utilize it. While it wouldn't significantly enhance the strength of his rank 1 essence, it would elevate the strength of his rank 1 blood essence to that of a rank 2s.

 Despite not being able to use rank 2 essence having yet to reach rank 1 Lucas could still manipulate rank 1 essence. Even if empowered, the essence remained rank 1, allowing him to utilize it with greater effort.

As Lucas continued his cultivation while walking, He remained slightly alert to his surroundings. After thirty minutes of pacing, he realized with growing unease that he still hadn't reached the cave from which he had originally departed. "That's strange; I thought I had only walked west for about ten minutes," he mused. An unsettling realization dawned on him—something was off. Stopping in his tracks, a splat sounded as Lucas activated his blood world traversal ability, preparing to assess the situation.
