Chapter 7: CHAPTER 7
He examined the title of the another teacher, this time a youthful lady who didn’t see like she was much more seasoned than me with long coppery hair. Everything approximately her was wonderful, from her ivory skin to her breathtaking body. She looked like she ought to have been in Hollywood, not at Werewolf Academy.
“Professor Caroline Wickburn.”
She stood up and gave a little wave to the gathering of people. “Professor Mindi Lee.”
A brief Asian lady with sleek, fly dark hair stood up. She looked as it were a few a long time more seasoned than me, as well, but what stood out to me the most was that nothing almost her looked indeed remotely werewolfish. She wasn’t strong like the others; she was slender.
“Professor Javier Rodriguez,” Dean Dark examined off, and a tall fellow with profoundly tanned skin, brief dark hair, and a strong body rose to his feet. He waved at the gathering of people, and the young ladies went insane over him once more, the same way they had with the Obscure pack.
“And final, but certainly not slightest, Teacher Kesha Washington.” A tall lady with dull skin and chin-length dark hair rose to her feet and waved.
“Now that the presentations have been made, let’s move on to the Sorting. The handle works like this: after your title is called, you will come up here, and our witch, Gloria—” He motioned to a brief lady with a long braid she wore to the side, who was standing in front of a cauldron-
“will take a piece of your hair and blend it with a elixir.
One of the four House mascots will show up, letting us know which house you have a place in.”
“So, we will start calling the names, in irregular order,” Director Dark went on as he moved to the center of the room.
“Agatha Daniels.”
A brief young lady with bunched up ruddy hair strolled to the front of the room. She stood in front of Gloria, who utilized a match of scissors to cut off a single strand of hair. She hurled it into the cauldron, which started to bubble as before long as the hair touched the elixir inside.
A minute afterward, a smoky haze showed up over the cauldron, and a coat of arms with a gray wolf and the letter “L” appeared.
“Lupines!” Superintendent Dark said, and everybody in the room started to clap.
Agatha strolled back to her situate, as the Dean perused the following title. “Charles Smith.”
“It’s Chuck,” a strong-looking fellow with a buzz cut said as he strolled towards the front of the room. He stood some time recently Gloria, who did the same thing: she cut off a single strand of hair and at that point hurled it into the cauldron.
The haze showed up, this time including a coat of arms with a set of teeth and the letter “M”.
“Marked!” Dean Dark declared. “Brian Lucas.”
Brian, a tall, bumbling fellow with brief blonde hair, strolled to the front of the room.
The witch did her thing, and a coat of arms with a bow moon showed up in the air.
Wow, so he had been sorted into the Bows. I wasn’t going to lie. I was sort of shocked. He wasn’t somebody who I would have pegged as ’bad’ based on his appearance, but as they say, looks can be deceiving.
“Crescents!” The Dean looked down at his clipboard. “Jackie Watkins.”
Jackie shot me a apprehensive see as she stood from our table to be sorted.
After the witch had performed the custom, a purple “D” on a brilliant coat of arms appeared.
“Descendant!” Superintendent Dark said with a grin. “Congratulations, Jackie.”
Okay, so clearly, the Relatives were the predominant class—the House that you most needed to be in. The House that I clearly would be in, agreeing to Jackie, Krista, and Theo.
Not that I had ever truly cared all that much around notoriety, course, or status, if we were being legitimate. But being at a modern school—a school that was full of werewolves, no less—kind of made me need to be one of the chosen ones. If it implied being treated like to begin with course eminence, why not?
The Director proceeded to draw understudies from the swarm, sorting them into their chosen Houses.
Finally, he called out, “Raven Gallagher.”
It must have been my parents’ purportedly reputation in the werewolf world that had all eyes on me as I rose to my feet, but I seem have sworn that each person, err, wolf in the room was gazing at me, more than they had gazed at anybody else who had been called some time recently me.
Nervously, I strolled to the front of the room and stood in front of the witch.
I listened the clip of the scissors, indeed in spite of the fact that she had as it were cut off a single strand of hair.
Then I listened the bubbles start after she dropped my hair into her cauldron.
“Hmm. This has never happened before,” Director Dark commented.
I looked over my bear to see what had showed up over the cauldron and frowned.
The Descendants’ coat of arms was hanging over the cauldron, but that wasn’t all. Right underneath it, there was a moment coat of arms, this one having a place to the Crescents.
I looked over at Dean Dark. “What does this mean?”
“It appears that you have been sorted into not fair one but two Houses.” I gulped difficult, realizing what all of this meant.
I was a awful wolf.
