Chapter 9: Chapter 8
At Blitz Industries Headquarters, Captain Igor stood fuming, his anger evident as he glared at Jagt.
"What the hell were you thinking? Are you out of your mind? You chased after the Blue Deathster without any orders, and on top of that, you did it in a damaged Gigamobile! And you damaged it even more!" Captain Igor's voice thundered through the room. "Are you hearing what I'm saying, Pilot Jagt?!"
Jagt, standing stiffly, nodded, his expression unreadable.
"Yes, Captain."
Captain Igor's face twisted with frustration.
"You're so arrogant and impulsive. One day, that will be your downfall."
Before Jagt could respond, the door to the room swung open, and in walked Welstra, the CEO of Blitz Industries, flanked by two security guards. The atmosphere in the room immediately shifted, the tension palpable.
Captain Igor quickly straightened and bowed slightly.
"Blitz CEO Welstra... I apologize for one of my men's actions. I promise you it won't happen again."
Welstra waved off the apology, his expression calm yet firm.
"Don't worry about it, Captain Igor."
He turned his attention to Jagt, his piercing eyes studying the pilot carefully.
"So... Do you hate the Blue Deathster?"
Jagt was caught off guard by the question.
"Oh... what's with the sudden question, sir?"
Welstra's gaze never wavered as he continued,
"Your impulsive actions tell us otherwise."
Jagt hesitated for a moment before responding.
"It's... just... these guys operate outside the law and hide their identities. Whenever they show up, they cause more harm than good."
Welstra nodded in agreement.
"I couldn't agree more."
He then crossed his arms behind him, his voice lowering slightly.
"I don't hate the Blue Deathster. They try to save the people of Brandt Gate, after all. What I do hate is seeing them use our technology, technology they stole from us."
Jagt's confusion deepened as Welstra began to explain.
"A few years ago, one of Blitz's top weapon designers created a product that would shape the future. But one day, he disappeared, along with the blueprints. A year later, his designs showed up hovering above the domes. You can guess what that means—Blue Deathster killed him and stole his ideas to create their own arsenals. Since then, we've tried to replicate it, but we've failed miserably."
Welstra's tone hardened as he looked at Jagt. "But that ends today. Today, we will mark a new age for our military. And I want you, Blitz Pilot Jagt, to be a part of it."
Jagt's confusion was mirrored by Captain Igor, who exchanged a glance with him.
Welstra then activated a hologram, revealing new Gigamobile designs.
"This," he said, "will be the start of a new age for Blitz Industries. The newly upgraded Blitz Gigamobiles. You will lead this task force and prove that our technology is superior to those Blue maggots."
He paused for a moment, letting the weight of his words sink in. "This will be your second chance to prove yourself."
Later, they traveled to Hangar 51, where Jagt stood in awe as he gazed at a line of new Gigamobiles, each one boasting a unique aesthetic.
Guided by Welstra's secretary, Perfe, Jagt approached the new machines.
Perfe gestured to one of the Gigamobiles.
"This will be your new Gigamobile: Blitz Gigamobile, Asturm."
She then motioned to a group of four Blitz pilots, each wearing the company's uniform. "And this will be your new team."
Perfe's gaze was stern as she looked at Jagt.
"Do not fail us, Blitz Pilot Jagt."
Jagt met her gaze with determination.
"Don't worry, I won't."
