chapter 22
Heewon Kim had confidently declared he would change, but the job of an executive secretary was one of the worst professions for dating.
Heewon wasn’t the type to exchange personal messages during work, and with his irregular and unpredictable hours, making plans to meet was far from easy.
Among the people introduced by Im Jaegyu, one at least matched his taste. His name was Park Yuseong. An IT industry «N.o.v.e.l.i.g.h.t» worker who ran his own business, he was free from time constraints and, above all, showed genuine interest in Heewon.
Despite sporadic messages, he never complained and had even come by late at night just to see Heewon’s face before leaving. They barely managed to eat together, so their dates were little more than quick moments inside a car, yet the man never showed dissatisfaction.
They had kissed. They weren’t officially dating, but since both were adults and preferred a light, casual relationship rather than something serious, there was no need to hold back physically.
Late at night, in the cramped car, the sounds of kissing continued. The moment Heewon got in, the man eagerly lunged. Heewon, somewhat tired, surrendered his body.
If asked how it felt, it was just so-so. No erection, no excitement, and the tongue entwining felt boring enough to let his mind wander.
“Ha, it’s so good. Look at this—I’m properly hard.”
In contrast, the man pointed to his bulging center, clearly showing his excitement. Not content with that, he took Heewon’s hand and placed it atop his growing member.
“Could you touch it a bit? Hngh, I think I’m about to cum.”
“Here?”
“Should we get a room? I’m fine with that.”
Well, Heewon wasn’t that turned on.
Still, with the man erect, it felt rude to refuse completely, so he decided to go along somewhat. Heewon gave a tired nod.
“Do you have condoms?”
The man took one from the console box and put it on himself. Heewon slowly stroked the condom-covered member with his hand. The fairly handsome cock steadily grew excited, leaking sticky fluid.
Thanks to the lubricant on the condom, his palm moved fairly smoothly. Heewon, being a man himself, knew exactly where to touch to feel good.
Gripping the shaft and flicking the sensitive tip with his fingertips, the man tilted his head back, letting out a pleased moan.
This was probably a normal size. Executive Director Kwon’s cock had been way too abnormal. A moderate size made it easy to hold and shake in one hand… damn it!
Thinking about someone else’s cock at will was infuriating, and Heewon grimaced sharply. Damn you, Kwon Youngjae, get out of my head!
Gripping the base of the shaft firmly with a resentful hand, the twitching member shot out hot semen. The man panted, grabbed Heewon’s face, and kissed him fervently.
“Am I not good enough?”
“Huh?”
“…It just seems like you rarely get aroused.”
The difference in temperature was drastic. Unlike the man who had just ejaculated alone, Heewon’s expression was dry and emotionless. How could that gap not be felt?
Heewon wiped the oily residue off his hand with a wet tissue and forced a smile.
“Oh, it’s not that… I’m probably just tired.”
“Really?”
“Yes, probably.”
At that moment, Heewon’s phone rang from inside his jacket pocket.
Perfect timing. A call from Executive Director Kwon late at night was never welcome, but it was a perfect excuse to avoid uncomfortable conversation.
“Yes, Executive Director.”
The low voice flowed through the phone’s speaker. Though familiar, Heewon swallowed dryly. It felt like being caught doing something wrong.
It was a call asking him to stop by home briefly. Heewon checked his watch and said he’d be there within twenty minutes.
“Being a secretary… isn’t easy. I’m a secretary too, but I don’t get pushed around this much.”
The man listening nearby clicked his tongue in disbelief. Heewon laughed it off. Releasing the seatbelt, he gestured he had to go. His fingers already opened the taxi app.
Then Heewon’s left hand was suddenly grabbed. Curious, he looked, and the man’s eyes gleamed in the dark as he seriously proposed,
“Next time… shall we sleep together?”
“……”
“Whenever you want. Just call when you’re comfortable, and I’ll come running.”
Heewon silently lowered his gaze. The large hand covering his was what made him decide to meet this man. The long, thick fingers strangely attracted him.
“Okay, I’ll contact you.”
“Promise!”
“Take care.”
After tossing out the hollow promise, Heewon got out of the car. A persistent discomfort felt like he was wearing ill-fitting clothes. He rubbed his stiff neck several times, then headed to call a taxi.
By the time they arrived at Kwon Youngjae’s house, it was well past midnight. Heewon naturally wandered through the dark house, looking for Kwon.
“Executive Director, I’m here.”
He found the owner in the dressing room. Kwon stood quietly in a room resembling a clothing store, arms crossed, staring intently at suits hanging on racks.
Hearing Heewon’s presence, he turned his head, giving a displeased look and nodding toward the suits.
“Am I the only one who doesn’t like these?”
The dedicated coordinator preselects a week’s worth of clothes for Kwon’s schedule. Mostly suits, but they vary the colors and designs within the consistent concept.
“I’ll pick something else for you.”
Heewon stepped forward immediately, hanging back the preset suits and scanning others with his eyes. There was an entrepreneurs’ meeting tomorrow, so a calmer tone would be better.
Heewon pulled out two suit jackets not much different from the preset ones, with subtle color differences visible only up close.
“How about these?”
“What’s different?”
“This one makes your skin tone look clearer; that one highlights a neat atmosphere.”
Seven years into being an executive secretary, Heewon had even become a personal color expert. Though unofficial.
Still, he could select suitable outfits with uncanny precision, and Kwon trusted Heewon completely for his wardrobe choices.
Kwon raised an eyebrow, examined both jackets and Heewon’s face between them, then pressed his tongue firmly against the inside of his cheek.
“The left one.”
Heewon draped the chosen jacket over his forearm, not forgetting the matching suit pants and dress shirt. Carefully hanging each on hangers, he lastly chose a tie. Since it was an important task, Heewon’s eyes were more serious than usual.
As he pondered between a navy tie with a diagonal pattern and a glossy black tie, Kwon’s arm reached out and grabbed the navy one. Reflexively, Heewon looked up and froze at Kwon standing right in front of him.
Since that day, the strange awareness had been uncomfortable, and he’d tried hard to keep his distance. But what was the use if damn Executive Director Kwon never cooperated?
Every time Kwon suddenly invaded his personal space, Heewon’s heart nearly jumped out.
“Secretary Kim, do you smell something strange?”
“A smell…?”
Kwon tilted his head slightly and took a deep breath near Heewon’s neck. The act was exactly like during rut, making Heewon stiffen his jaw. Swallowing saliva was difficult.
After a thorough sniffing, Kwon slowly lifted his head. His jet-black pupils shone even darker.
“I smell perfume.”
“Oh…”
Only then did Heewon bury his nose in his own forearm and sniff. It was faint but sharp. The strong cologne of the man he met earlier had apparently transferred onto him.
Kwon’s sense of smell was so sensitive that Heewon never used perfume at all. But it wasn’t his fault the scent had rubbed off on him. He straightened his waist and took on a deliberately confident attitude.
“I was coming back from a date.”
“This is men’s cologne.”
“……”
Damn… he’d been rendered speechless.
Still, he couldn’t confess that he had just been on a date with a man. The reason he had started dating, especially a man, was ultimately because of that night’s aftermath. Kwon, perceptive as he was, couldn’t possibly not know.
“You’re dating a man? Secretary Kim?”
“We’re not dating… just passing time casually.”
Heewon was too busy hiding his expression, and an awkward silence unexpectedly fell. Kwon tugged sharply on the tie in his hand. The sharp snap! broke the uncomfortable quiet.
“For a moment, I thought about it.”
“……”
“Every time your rut comes, I thought it’d be fine if Secretary Kim handled it.”
