Since Qinglin was awakening her Triple-Jade Flower Pupils two years earlier than in the original timeline, Chen Guan had the puppets beat the serpent half to death, leaving it unable to resist before throwing it aside.

Chen Guan brought Qinglin before the two-headed Fire Spirit Serpent and observed her reaction. Surprisingly, she wasn't as terrified as one might expect when facing such a powerful creature that could easily kill her.

Qinglin's lack of fear made things easier. Encouraged by Chen Guan, she stepped forward, nervously glancing at him before looking down at the serpent.

Wang Yan and his brother were puzzled, taking a closer look at Xiao Qinglin. They were beginning to realize that this girl wasn't as simple as she appeared.

Could she really subdue a fourth-rank magical beast when she had just started cultivating Dou Qi?

Such a fantastical thing was unimaginable before.

Chen Guan didn't have time to explain. He focused on Xiao Qinglin as her concentration deepened. Around her green pupils, three small green dots suddenly appeared, expanding from a blur into three clearly visible flower buds, glowing eerily.

Finally, under the immense pressure, the Fire Spirit Serpent surrendered. It became completely lost in her control, retreating into the space of her Pupils.

Qinglin's tense body relaxed instantly, and she almost stumbled, but Chen Guan caught her quickly.

"Young master, I did it!"

Though exhausted from using so much energy, Xiao Qinglin beamed with joy, as if she were a child showing off her achievements to her parents.

Chen Guan smiled proudly and praised her without hesitation, "I saw it. You were amazing! You surprised all of us."

He exaggerated a bit, but Wang Yan and his brother were genuinely stunned, feeling a bit disillusioned.

They had previously wondered why the young master would keep such a delicate girl by his side, assuming it was due to some old relationship. But now, in just half a month, this seemingly weak girl had gained the power to threaten them.

Was this still the Dou Qi continent they knew?

A sense of defeat washed over them, their forced smiles betraying their feelings.

Seeing their expressions, Chen Guan chuckled understandingly and reassured them, "Don't overthink it. Qinglin isn't like ordinary people. Her Triple-Jade Green Snake Flower Pupils are a rare physique, almost unique in the entire Dou Qi continent. You can't measure her by normal standards."

Hearing this, the brothers felt somewhat better.

Qinglin wanted to comfort the two uncles who had always been kind to her, but she was too tired. Her heavy eyelids closed, and she fell asleep in Chen Guan's arms.

"Let's head out first. We'll discuss everything after she wakes up. With the Fire Spirit Serpent guiding us, we'll find that thing easily tomorrow."

Wang Dalang couldn't resist asking, but was stopped by Wang Yan's glance.
