Mo Yu scoffed. "A little rich, coming from a Black-Corner Region elder. Compassion isn't exactly in your nature, is it?" His cold laughter echoed as his eyes remained fixed on Gao Lie, his body thrumming with energy, ready to strike the final blow.

Gao Lie's face twisted as he struggled for a response. After a moment, he forced a smile and said, "Let's call this a misunderstanding. Consider the Transformation Pill a gift from me."

"A gift?" Mo Yu chuckled, rubbing his chin as if in contemplation. "There is something I want from you, Gao Lie."

Hope sparked in Gao Lie's eyes. "Just name it! If you'll let me go, it's yours."

Mo Yu's smile grew dark. "What I want, Gao Lie, is… your life."

In that moment of distraction, a strange spatial energy radiated from Mo Yu, and his figure vanished.

"Not good!" Gao Lie's eyes widened, recalling how Mo Yu had used this very ability to escape from him months ago. "I can't believe I forgot about this trick!"

He gritted his teeth and punched his chest, forcing a mouthful of beast blood from within. The fiery aura surrounding him ignited once more, and crimson flame scales gathered on his skin, transforming him into a human juggernaut.

"You little brat! Killing me won't be so easy!"

Just as his flames roared to life, Mo Yu reappeared in a flash, spear thrusting forward. He gathered terrifying energy into the tip of the spear, a force so powerful it made the heavens tremble.

Trapped in this fierce attack, Gao Lie let out a heart-wrenching scream that echoed through the sky.
