Build The Strongest Family in the Prirate World

Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Galen’S Surprise

Whitebeard II, Edward Weibull, has appeared in West Blue.

"Did he finally show up for that bounty?"

"**Sengoku, let me head to West Blue and kill that scum!**"

Inside Marineford at Navy Headquarters, Garp, after receiving the latest intel, dropped his usual carefree demeanor and spoke with a grave tone.

Edward Weibull had severed one of Z's arms, slaughtered many of Z's students, and forced Z to resign from his position as Chief Instructor at the Navy Headquarters.

Garp, who had always been close to Z, never forgot this grudge.

"You can't go!"

Sengoku, loosening his collar to breathe a little easier, paused before replying firmly,

"Big Mom's tea party is about to take place, and troublesome figures like Gangplank from the Ocean Disaster are attending. There are whispers that they might join the Ten Nations!"

"If someone like him aligns with the Ten Thousand Nations, the balance in the New World could shift dramatically," Sengoku added.

"We need to gather our strength for the possibility of a major upheaval!"

"**So, we're just letting that scum roam free?**"

Garp clenched his teeth, clearly frustrated.

Though Garp may not care about fighting for the Celestial Dragons, he holds a strong sense of justice. As a Marine, his duty is clear.

While seeking revenge for Z is important, the threat posed by the possible union of the Big Mom Pirates and Gangplank's crew would undoubtedly take priority. Should they merge, they could form the most powerful pirate alliance in the world, endangering the entire globe.

Even the Whitebeard Pirates didn't have two Admirals or equivalent strength to match that.

"As soon as we have confirmation of his location, we'll make sure that man pays for what he's done," Sengoku said coldly.

"Besides, the bounty Weibull is after won't be easy to claim! Perhaps the Figarland Family will surprise us!"

The rise of the Figarland Family and the formation of the Valoran United Chamber of Commerce in West Blue were no secret.

However, Sengoku didn't seem concerned.

He wasn't one of the Five Elders. He just knew that after the Figarland Family had unified the West Blue underworld and established the Valoran Chamber of Commerce Alliance, piracy in West Blue had decreased significantly, and many civilians in the region were enjoying better lives.

For Sengoku, that was enough.

The priorities of the Navy Headquarters and the World Government have never fully aligned.

"**The Figarland Family? I see,**" Garp muttered before continuing,

"By the way, don't let Z know that Edward Weibull's been spotted in West Blue!"

Z, not yet armed with his crusher and weakened by age and asthma, might not stand a chance against Weibull in his current condition.

"I blocked that information long ago!"

Sengoku shot Garp an annoyed look before responding.

As contemporaries, Sengoku and Z shared a strong bond. In fact, Z—once known as the "Unkillable Admiral" and the Chief Instructor—had a solid rapport with most Marine elites at the Navy Headquarters.

He was a special figure in the Marine world.

While Sengoku and the others prepared for the looming changes in the New World, in West Blue, the Figarland Family had yet to deliver any surprise to Sengoku.

However, Vice Admiral Galen, the inspector of West Blue, had already learned of Edward Weibull's whereabouts—and took matters into his own hands!

For further exploration, you might want to look into the balance of power within One Piece's world government structure, particularly how organizations like CP0 operate behind the scenes.

Additionally, researching the dynamics of the New World and its significant pirate alliances could provide deeper insight into how powerful factions like Big Mom's crew manipulate global politics.

It's natural for the Marines to clash with pirates. Defeating Edward Weibull could significantly boost Galen's favorability and influence within the Marine ranks.

In fact, taking down Weibull might garner more respect than defeating one of the Four Emperors themselves.

Galen, who was summoned at the same time as Gangplank, might not have the same wealth of battle experience, but he had captured and defeated countless pirates in West Blue.

Thanks to his formidable passive abilities, he could endure grueling fights for an extended period. Though Edward Weibull possessed at least A+ combat power, Galen felt confident he could hold his ground!

The battle erupted the moment Galen caught up with Edward Weibull on a small island.

Miss Ba Jin initially believed that Weibull could easily slice through Galen and the other Marines with a single swing of his blade.

But then came a thunderous crash as the ground shattered beneath their feet, sending shockwaves through the surrounding flora. When Galen stood firm without flinching, Miss Ba Jin instantly realized they were in serious trouble.

"Hey, that level of combat power isn't typical for West Blue's Marines!" she exclaimed, her expression darkening. "Are you the Marine Vice Admiral who took down Bai Xiao? What an impressive newcomer!"

Miss Ba Jin scanned the area, her eyes sparkling with a mix of curiosity and dread. After confirming the absence of other Vice Admirals or even Admirals, she temporarily calmed herself and turned to Edward Weibull.

"Son, get rid of that guy quickly! I don't want to be surrounded by a horde of Marines!"

Her concern stemmed from the fear of being overwhelmed by elite Marine forces. Edward Weibull might disregard the attacks of ordinary Marine soldiers, but Miss Ba Jin—now aged and frail—couldn't withstand many hits herself. She had never been a combatant.

"Got it, Mom!" Edward Weibull growled, determination flashing in his eyes. "I'll slice him in half right now!"

With a serious demeanor, Edward Weibull, endowed with the power reminiscent of Whitebeard in his prime, truly was a formidable beast. But Galen was prepared to confront such monsters.

"If you think you can, then come at me!" Galen declared, gripping his sword tightly. "Evil and calamity shall not go unpunished!"

Not long after Edward Weibull entered West Blue, he had wreaked havoc—destroying ten merchant ships and two small towns, resulting in the deaths of thousands. In his eyes, life held no value.

In other words, he failed to grasp the significance of life itself. He was akin to a foolish child, one whose mischief could result in unimaginable cruelty and terror.

Being a misguided youth was no excuse for Edward Weibull to evade punishment.

As Galen's sword glimmered with a quiet resolve, he charged forward with bravery and fearlessness.

**For justice!**
