Chapter 26: Chapter 26 : [ New Mission ] Hiring And Training_3
Felix flickered when he heard Zephyr voice.
"Oh, we're already here! Let's get out and see our restaurant," he exclaimed with a grin.
Trinity and the others smiled and nodded eagerly, anticipation flickering in their eyes. They hurriedly exited the carriage, impatience evident in their expressions. Felix chuckled at their eagerness.
"Ahhhh! Suddenly, a scream and gasps of breath filled the air, startling Felix.
His expression changed slightly as he quickly grabbed Una and exited the carriage.
"What's happening? What's going on?" he asked urgently, looking at Trinity, who appeared bewildered and have a blank look on her face.
Brixton's voice trembled as he questioned, "Bi..g br..o..o, are you sure this is the place?" By this time Nixie, Brixton and the others had already gotten out of their carriage and all of them were standing outside the carriages.
" What do you mean? Of course this is the place ask Nixi.. Holy shit! Jesus Christ of Nazareth!" Felix looked confused as he said and slowly turned to the building they bought.
The moment he turned his head, Felix eyes widened with deep shock, his mouth was wide open. His eyes widened, mouth agape, as he took in the sight. Zephyr, Brixton, Gwendolyn, Nixie, and Trinity all shared the same look of disbelief and confusion.
" System where are you? Get the fuck out of here! " Felix roared in his mind.
"Host, please be respectful and refrain from using such language ".The System responded disapprovingly,
Felix was incredulous. "Respect? You want restpect. Then tell me what the heck is that thing on my property?" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock.
" Host what do to mean? Of course this is the restaurant you chose to be build" the system answered.
" What the hell! This building looks nothing like the one I selected!" he growled.
The System calmly replied, "There may be differences, but this is indeed the building you chose. Please understand the distinction between the model and the final product."
Felix took a deep breath and gazed ahead of him.
Standing before him was a tall and imposing white building, completely adorned with faint golden elegant lines. The massive golden door was so huge that twenty people could walk through it side by side without any trouble.
Three white, elegant stone stairs, with guardrails made of finely crafted gold metal, led up to the entrance, one in the middle and two on both sides. A few meters away, there was a ten-meter-wide fountain with an elegant female statue holding a vase from which water continuously flowed.
Surrounding the fountain was a flower bed filled with beautiful flowers. On either side of the fountain were empty spaces marked like parking spots, with tall, elegant pillars standing nearby. The entire scene was simply breathtaking, and even Felix, coming from modern-day Earth, couldn't help but be in awe.
"Dang, this restaurant is absolutely stunning," Felix thought to himself as he admired the building.
The reason why he was initially taken aback by the grandeur of the structure.was because it was quite different from the model he had seen in the system shop. He had expected a beautiful white building, but the reality far exceeded his expectations.
"Hey, big bro, are you sure this is the building you bought?" Trinity asked, taking a deep breath as she turned to Felix. Zephyr, Brixton, Gwendolyn, and Nixie also shifted their gaze from the restaurant to Felix, with Nixie looking the most confused.
"Is this really the building we purchased, big bro? How did it end up like this?" Nixie questioned, clearly puzzled by the transformation.
"And how on earth was such a magnificent building completed in just four days?" Gwendolyn added, narrowing her eyes as she looked at Felix.
Felix felt a bead of sweat form on his forehead as Trinity and the others bombarded him with questions.
How could he possibly explain that there was a system inside him capable of miraculous feats, and that the beautiful building before them was a result of its power? He wouldn't be surprised if they thought he was possessed by an evil spirit.
Although he was in this fantasy world full of bizarre things, he couldn't risk revealing the existence of the system. It wasn't that he didn't trust them, but he knew the world was complex and dangerous.
Who knows what kind of person with ill intentions might to use some kind of weird and bizarre method to find the existence of the system? It was better to be cautious.
"System, give me a plan, some ideas, hurry up!" Felix called out to the system, feeling the pressure.
"This is your problem, not mine. Deal with it," the system replied indifferently.
"Damn you, system," Felix muttered through gritted teeth. He glanced nervously at Trinity and the others, who were still eyeing him suspiciously.
"Ahem... ha ha ha," Felix coughed and laughed awkwardly, scratching his head. "Well, I paid the construction workers a hefty sum, and they're some of the best in Brigdemoor City. Since we're opening a high-class restaurant, we needed a luxurious building to match its status."
Trinity and the others pondered for a moment before nodding in understanding. They looked back at the grand building, still in awe.
Passersby also stopped to admire the restaurant, surprised to find such a stunning establishment in the Audaz District. The tall white building stood out in the surrounding area, catching the eye of anyone within a hundred meters.
Felix couldn't help but wonder if the restaurant only had four floors, as the building seemed taller than a typical storey building.
Felix let out a huge sigh of relief when he realized they weren't going to question him again. He was really nervous.
"Looks like I'll have to come up with all sorts of excuses in the future," he thought bitterly.
" Mr. Felix! "Just then, a mild voice interrupted Felix's thoughts. Surprised, he looked to his left and saw a middle-aged man in green clothes with meticulously styled hair and a fine mustache. The man's eyes were full of vitality and spirit.
"Are you calling me?" Felix asked, pointing to himself.
"Yeah," the middle-aged man smiled and nodded.
"Excuse me, do I know you?" Felix asked, puzzled. Trinity and the others turned to look at the middle-aged man with curiosity.
"Oh, Mr. Felix, have you already forgotten about me? I'm Gideon Ashbluff, the Chef," the middle-aged man said, touching his nose.
Felix's eyes widened. "You're Chef Gideon, but..."
"I realized I couldn't continue like that, so when Nixie told me yesterday that the restaurant was completed, I decided to clean myself up and look my best," Chef Gideon explained.
Felix nodded, feeling relieved.
"Wow, Chef Gideon, you look really handsome!" Nixie exclaimed with a cheeky grin.
Chef Gideon laughed heartily. "Ha ha ha!"
" Guys let me introduce you, this is Chef Gideon, the one who is going to be our head chef in our restaurant " Nixie smirked.
" Chef Gideon this is big sister Trinity,
Gwendolyn, big bro Zephyr and Brixton ".
" Nice to meet you Chef Gideon " Trinity and the others quickly greeted Chef Gideon.
Chef Gideon didn't put on airs as he smiled and nodded at them
He turned and looked at the restaurant with surprise in his eyes. Although he was impressed, he wasn't shocked. He had seen many beautiful and grand buildings than this one.
"Nice restaurant," Chef Gideon said, looking at Felix.
Felix grinned widely in response.
" Ok guys let's go in and see how the inside of the restaurant looks like " Felix smirked.
