After dealing with the Sumerian Slate yesterday, Kyle returned to the manor with nothing to do and started immersing himself in his otaku hobbies.

Natasha and Gasco are typically busy developing their abilities, while Alice manages most of the company's affairs by herself.

"Boss, the Superpower Squad will arrive at the airport in half an hour, and you're still playing games in your pajamas," Natasha said, visibly frustrated. The superpowered individuals were about to undergo an ability test with Laura, so they had not returned on the same flight as Kyle and Natasha.

"Don't worry, Red Queen, help me contact Arkham and ask Laura to send me a copy of the test report," Kyle replied, already prepared. He had the team uniforms ready. In the end, he didn't go with the flashy designs but instead chose something more practical. He planned to have the superpowered team communicate with the tech department before finalizing anything.

Now that all the materials had been procured, the team just needed to meet with the designers in person.

"Boss, there's one more thing: about Lilian's food situation, have you thought about what to do?" Natasha asked calmly, sipping her Americano.

"Damn it, there's a traffic jam!" Kyle exclaimed as they rushed toward the airport.

Entering the waiting room, the four superpowered individuals were bored, staring up at the sky. Kyle immediately walked over to apologize.

"Sorry, sorry! There was a car accident at the intersection, and the traffic jam delayed us," he said, explaining their tardiness. If he had left the manor earlier instead of playing games, this probably wouldn't have happened, and the four wouldn't have had to wait for more than half an hour.

"It's alright, boss. It's not your fault. New York is a big city with traffic jams," Lillian responded with understanding. The four of them had never planned on being in a city like New York. They had envisioned a quieter life in a country town, marrying, having kids, and growing old in an ordinary way. But now, with Kyle's backing and their newfound superpowers, their lives had taken an entirely different turn.

"Glad to hear that," Kyle said with relief. "Let's head out now, and I'll show you where you'll be living from now on."

Kyle drove the group to the Water Company's newly constructed park, where they would live. Ronton and Herb would share one room, while Daisy and Lillian would share another. The dormitory had simple decor since it was newly built, with no home appliances yet.

"Alright, guys, this is your new home," Kyle announced, clapping his hands to get their attention. The rooms were spacious—each one had an area of 150 square meters. The dormitory had four floors, each with fifteen rooms. The first floor might be filled soon, but it wouldn't be necessary to build more for a while.

Next, Kyle led them to the twelfth floor of Water Company, dedicated to training superpowered individuals. Natasha was already there in her training gear, waiting for them.

"Based on the test results Dr. Laura sent me, your abilities are currently at a pretty low level," Kyle began, looking at the team. "Natasha will serve as your instructor until you can defeat her in a duel."

Kyle, acting as the temporary instructor, began to lecture the group, though he was growing tired from reading their test results.

"Heb, your teleportation only has an effective range of fifteen meters? You're better off running, but let's target a hundred meters instead."

"Long Dun, your body's hardness can be increased after activating your ability. The test showed it's about twice as hard as steel, but let's aim to increase it to five times that."

"Daisy, your ability is manipulating ice, which is powerful, but the test results were disappointing. The temperature you can achieve is only a few degrees below freezing. Try lowering it to minus twenty degrees, which should affect an area of fifty meters."
