"Uzumaki Naruto!" Jiraiya's roar woke Naruto, who was enduring the pain while laughing.
"What are you doing!" Jiraiya snatched the pot Naruto was holding over his head to block the water and used it to cover his own head.
"Digging a well," Naruto answered honestly, and pulled out another pot.
"Why is digging a well making such a huge commotion?" Kakashi also snatched a pot and held it over his head.
Since you guys are fighting to be the scapegoat, I won't be.
Naruto took out a round bucket and put it on his head: "Because the power is concentrated."
The power was indeed very concentrated. Over a hundred Shadow Clones detonated simultaneously in the well. It would be hard for it not to be concentrated, and fearing the power would spread, Naruto had even pressed stones on top.
The scene was roughly like this:
Stone Stone Stone
Naruto Naruto Naruto
Naruto Naruto Naruto
Naruto Naruto Naruto
Naruto Naruto Naruto
Naruto Naruto Naruto
ββββββ
The well was densely packed with clones, the scene roughly equivalent to the burning of books and burying of scholars, or the massacre of 400,000 Zhao troops*.
The reason it's not exactly equivalent is that in those two scenes, the people were in despair, while here, Naruto's clones were full of fervor.
Jiraiya, with a pot on his head, frowned. This matter seemed to be somewhat related to him.
He had asked Naruto why he was digging a well, and he said it was to practice the power of the Rasengan. Who told him he needed to practice its power? It was him!
Kakashi, also with a pot on his head, almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. I taught you to concentrate power for THIS?
"Over here, over here..." Tsunade arrived at the scene with a group of ninjas.
"U-zu-ma-ki! Na-ru-to!" Tsunade cracked her knuckles, speaking one word at a time, full of aggressive energy.
She was practically fuming. The matter from the morning had already given her enough of a headache, and before she could even recover, Naruto's side exploded.
That massive sound had thrown Konoha into chaos. While Tsunade sent people to appease the villagers, she quickly organized ninjas skilled in Water Release to come and guide the water flow.
They had to guide it. The water flow was too large; if it continued like this, Konoha would be flooded.
"Tsunade, calm down, calm down!" Jiraiya advised.
This matter was somewhat related to him, and Naruto was Minato's child. He couldn't just let him be beaten right in front of him, could he?
"Hmm!!?" Tsunade stiffly turned her head, her nasal tone heavy.
"Cool down, cool down. You're not young anymore, don't ruin your health," Jiraiya said, concerned.
Bang. Clang.
Jiraiya was sent flying, and the iron pot fell to the ground.
"YOU'RE not young anymore! This old woman is still a seventeen or eighteen-year-old maiden!"
Naruto was looking up at the arc Jiraiya drew in the air. Hearing that sentence, it sounded familiar, and he subconsciously blurted out: "There are actually seventeen or eighteen-year-old old women in the world?! @*~&<>"
Flying through the air, Naruto's mouth was filled with wind, and he couldn't even finish his sentence.
Tsunade shook her hand. She would give Jiraiya face; she also didn't want to hit Naruto in front of Jiraiya, but if I send you flying, won't you not be able to see?
Kakashi, pot on his head, gazed at the sky.
Truly master and disciple. This way of seeking death is truly a shared legacy.
After flying who knows how many meters and then sliding a few more meters on the ground, Naruto got up and patted off the dust.
Tsunade truly deserved to be the one with the best chakra control in the entire ninja world. With techniques like this, sending someone flying who knows how far without them getting a single injury, Naruto deeply admired her.
"What's this?" Sasuke asked in confusion.
Steel wire consumption had been high recently. Sasuke had gone to the ninja tool shop in the morning, planning to buy some steel wire and then go to the small forest to train with Naruto.
But before he even reached the location, a huge sound came from the direction of the small forest. Shortly after, Naruto flew to his feet.
Naruto was also confused. How could this be such a coincidence? Was it destiny? Or had Sasuke suddenly learned Almighty Push?
"It's nothing, I just suddenly wanted to experience the feeling of flying."
"Oh."
"Are you going to train?"
"Yeah."
"Let's change locations today. That place is occupied." Naruto pulled Sasuke away.
"Okay."
That fifty-something-year-old maiden there was really not someone to be trifled with. He could only avoid her for now.
Furthermore, this couldn't be recorded on a note; Kushina and Tsunade had a familial relationship; he couldn't lay a hand on her (via the note).
As he opened a teleportation gate, Naruto thought about how exactly he should get revenge for this punch.
He couldn't just let this matter slide.
Just as they arrived at their usual training ground, they saw a group of people commemorating something in front of the memorial stone.
Naruto took Sasuke and teleported back.
Naruto didn't like crowds, and it wasn't good to disturb such matters. He could only find another place.
The two aimlessly searched for a training ground.
Sasuke could be anywhere, as long as there were trees.
But Naruto needed an open space for running laps, which wasn't so easy to find. There were many Konoha ninjas, and only so many open spaces; there weren't enough to go around.
"That way is fine."
Naruto, who didn't know where they had ended up, finally found a piece of geomantic treasure land***. The open space was remarkably large, and there wasn't a single person there.
From now on, this place belongs to Uzumaki.
Just like the small forest before, as long as Naruto was there, other ninjas who saw him would give up this place. Unlike others, who could perhaps squeeze in for a while to train.
The status of Nine-Tails Jinchuriki deterred the entire Konoha.
Just as the two finished setting up their training equipment, Sasuke, with his excellent eyesight, saw a figure in the forest: "Someone's there."
"What are they doing?" Naruto asked. Could this be someone sent to monitor me being discovered by Sasuke?
"Painting."
Naruto immediately thought of Sai. He was Danzo's man, and Danzo had covetous intentions towards both him and Sasuke. It was very possible he would send someone of a similar age to make contact first.
"Let's go take a look."
"Okay."
Pushing aside the leaves, Naruto rolled his eyes at Sasuke: "Why didn't you say it was a girl?"
"You didn't ask."
What you said makes so much sense, I am left speechless.
Arriving behind the painting girl, Naruto felt like he might have received a mysterious power boost today. First, he was beaten by a woman who said she was forever seventeen or eighteen, and then he met someone whose name contained 'Yakumo'.
Whose boost was it?
Could it be that certain old hag in purple...
Suddenly, a long red spear pierced directly towards Naruto's forehead.
Naruto tilted his head to dodge the spear. Just as he was about to see who was so bold as to dare to assassinate the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki in Konoha, he was smacked into a wall by Kurama's one tail.
"It's a genjutsu," Kurama said with disdain.
Naruto was so angry he almost swore.
Kurama, am I still the one who raised you?
That Eight-Tails, Killer Bee, just nudged lightly. Why did you have to smack me with your tail?
"That fast?" Sasuke's hand, halfway extended, was pulled back.
He hadn't fallen under the genjutsu and was about to help Naruto dispel it, but Naruto woke up on his own.
"Mm."
Kurama Yakumo, who was painting, asked without turning her head, "Who are you two? Why are you sneaking behind me?"
What the heck 'sneaking'?! I didn't want to backstab you! This guy always charges head-on into battle, okay.
"Uchiha - Sasuke."
"Uzumaki Naruto," Naruto also introduced himself: "Speaking of which, who are you, and why did you attack me with genjutsu?"
"Kurama Yakumo. This is private property."
Naruto inwardly cursed.
I wondered why there was no one around. Turns out I stumbled into the Riemon Estate.***
"I'm leaving now. You two should also leave soon," Kurama Yakumo began to pack her tools. She had been painting all morning, and the paint was almost used up; it was time for her to go.
"Wait, that's a good painting, let me see it again."
Sasuke suddenly grabbed Naruto. "Don't move, there's a bug."
Naruto looked intently and saw a small bug crawling out from Kurama Yakumo's collar. After circling a few times in the air, it flew away.
Naruto massaged his temples. Who was I supposed to think of when I saw a bug?
"Thank you for the compliment," Kurama Yakumo said gratefully.
"But I always feel like it's missing something."
"Hmm?"
Naruto pointed at the drawing board: "This water pillar is missing a corresponding element."
Naruto planned to let Tsunade experience the feelings of Emperor Taizong of Tang dynasty*****.
Let her know how uncomfortable it is to face numerous disasters right after taking the throne.
After Naruto's continuous instigation and provision of paint, Kurama Yakumo began painting again.
ββββ
In the small forest, everyone who was dealing with the water disaster collectively looked up at the sky.
Under a clear blue sky, a pillar of fire descended from the heavens, colliding with the constantly spraying water pillar. The scene was exceptionally spectacular.
"Kakashi, go ask Kurenai what stimulated Kurama Yakumo!"
"Yes." Kakashi, pot on his head, ran off.
Shortly after, Kakashi returned and reported to Tsunade.
Boom!
Stomping her foot, Tsunade gnashed her teeth and said, "Uzumaki Naruto!!!"
"Lord Tsunade, this is bad! The rift is getting bigger!"
"Ugh..." Tsunade, who had been standing in the rain in her own world, picked up the pot Jiraiya had dropped and put it on her head.
More water was falling from the fountain; she had to block it.
This morning, the villagers of Konoha witnessed a spectacle rarely seen for countless years: a battle between heaven and earth.
The earth, after a loud bang, challenged the sky, sending a water pillar shooting towards the clouds. The sky met the challenge not long after, sending down a fire pillar to suppress the water pillar.
The earth refused to yield; an even thicker water pillar shot straight towards the firmament!
