Bully Lord

Part-139

Part-139

For the first time since they had met, Dwip showed a genuine smile. It was a small gesture, but it was enough to reassure James that they were on the same side.

"But," Dwip added, a mischievous glint in his eye, "I have my conditions."

James, wary of the boy's unpredictable nature, braced himself for the worst.

"First," Dwip began, "you have to learn how to fight properly. You have guts, but you need skills."

James nodded, eager to learn from the skilled fighter.

"Second," Dwip continued, "you have to promise to keep this whole thing a secret. I don't want to get involved in any trouble."

James agreed without hesitation. He knew the importance of discretion.

"And third," Dwip said, his voice taking on a serious tone, "we need to find a way to catch these scammers without getting caught ourselves."

James nodded, his determination renewed. With Dwip's help, they might finally be able to bring these criminals to justice.

[Congratulations! You have completed mission 20.]

[Reward: Copy.]

[Description: Copy Skill: You can copy any ability as long as your physical and mental condition allows. To copy it, you must scan it once with your eyes. If you fail, scan again. No stamina required. However, it may worsen your mental health at times.]

James read the notification with a mix of excitement and curiosity. "This is an amazing skill," he thought to himself. The potential to copy any ability was incredible. However, he knew this wasn't the right moment to test it out.

"For now, I'll focus on the task at hand," he decided. "I'll test this new skill when the time is right."

The possibilities swirled in his mind, but James remained grounded, knowing that patience and careful planning would be key to mastering this newfound ability.

Dwip led them to a modest apartment on the outskirts of the city. It was sparsely furnished, with a single desk dominating the small living room. The desk was cluttered with various electronic gadgets, wires, and computer components, a testament to Dwip's profession.

"This is where the magic happens," Dwip said with a wry smile, gesturing towards the chaotic workspace. "It won't be too difficult to crack into the SV app's system," he added, confidence evident in his voice. "But there's a catch."

James and Ryan exchanged a worried glance. They knew that nothing in this world came without a price.

"The SV app might file a legal notice against me," Dwip continued, his smile turning into a smirk. "They don't like people messing with their system."

A wave of apprehension washed over James and Ryan. They had underestimated the risks involved. "But you're not afraid of them, right?" Ryan asked, trying to sound brave.

Dwip chuckled. "I've been called worse than an unethical hacker," he replied nonchalantly. "Let's just say I'm not afraid of a little legal trouble."

James and Ryan exchanged another worried glance. They knew they had to trust Dwip, but the thought of getting involved in a legal battle was terrifying.

"We'll figure it out as we go," James said, trying to sound confident. "For now, let's focus on catching the scammers."

Dwip nodded in agreement. "Let's get started," he said, sitting down at his computer.

With that, Dwip turned his attention to his computer. His fingers flew across the keyboard, the screen illuminating his face in an ethereal glow. It was clear that he was in his element.
