Towards the Logue town

"I still can't believe that ghosts exist in real life." Usopp muttered after the Conomi Island disappeared from his view. Nami on the other hand was feeling very bad despite having a lot of gold from the perverted old man. She remembered the last words of Genzo. She had promised Bellemere to take care of her daughters. And even after his death he was still fulfilling his promise. Nami actually felt bad for not visiting his grave. Along with the others she was very terrified to actually think straight.

"Well at least we got away from that Island. And we got a lot of gold too." Sanji said, looking at the Treasure chests on their ship.

"Nami, how many days will it take us to reach Logue town ?" Luffy asked excitedly, completely forgetting about the ghost.

"Nami checked the air around them and looked at the sea chart. If we go in the shortest route then we might encounter a storm on our way. But it will take us around 3 days to reach the pole star Island where Logue town is situated. There is another way which would take 5 days but it is a lot safer then the first one." Nami told Luffy, already knowing which take her captain would choose.

"Let's go in the shorter way. I want to see the place where the pirate king was executed !" Luffy said excitedly.

Nami didn't argue and simply set their course as her captain had ordered.

After around 2 days of sailing, Going Merry encountered her first storm. It was not unpredictable. Nami had already made all the preparations for their smooth sailing. The storm was not that intense either. So after a little struggle, they managed to leave the storm behind. On the afternoon of the third day, Going Merry finally reached the opposite side of Pole Star Island. Nami had decided this place to dock their ship since she was a well known face in the town. And if the news about her being in a pirate crew reached others then it would surely cause some trouble. That's why Nami had chosen the opposite side of the island to set their temporary base.

Luffy wanted to go to Logue town as soon as they arrived on the island. But Nami managed to make him stay on the ship until the next day, telling him that they will not open the execution site after evening.

On the next morning the straw hats finally went to explore the island as well as the city itself. Unknown to them, a massive surprise was waiting for them in the town of beginning and end.

Vice admiral Doberman was on an official visit to the east blue in order to investigate the situation with Buggy the harlequin. It was a top secret shared by the fleet admiral Sengoku that Buggy was actually an apprentice in the ship of the previous private king Gol D Roger along with red haired Shanks. After so many years remaining stagnant in the east blue they had thought that Buggy had lost the drive and motivation to go out to the grand line. So the sudden appearance of Buggy had caught them off guard.

That's why, Sengoku had sent one of the stronger vice admirals to investigate the matter. So he was currently in the logue town waiting for his troops to prepare.

But there was another figure hiding in the dark alleys of the Logue town as well. It was none other than Arlong. Around 10 years ago he had failed to kill the celestial dragons. Instead the island along with all its people were eradicated on which their favorite dish was being made.

But after his failure, Arlong never gave up. After a lot of effort and planning, he had finished his preparation to try to take his Revenge once more. This time he had prepared a bio weapon which would kill every human present in the area with a special gas that contains a type of virus that would make any type of treatment completely useless. It was a great feat considering that Arlong had managed to achieve it while staying in the east blue and hiding from the eyes of the public on top of that. Before testing the new weapon on the Holy lands of Mariejoice, Arlong wanted to test it somewhere else. And he had chosen the town of beginning and end as the testing ground for his poison. Coincidentally he had also found one of his other targets of revenge while roaming in the City.

As soon as Arlong saw Doberman, he changed his plan of releasing the virus in the town and decided to kill the vice admiral first. He wanted to feel the blood of the man who had killed many of his crewmates on his first. Destroying the town will come later but he wanted to get his revenge on at least one of his targets first.
