Chapter 821: Just what are you?

Chapter 821: Just what are you?

Kyle appeared above a planet pulsating with dark energy, its very essence writhing in malevolence.

He didn't even have a moment to draw a breath before another figure materialized behind him, a shadow of doom. Instantly, a leg slammed into his back, sending him hurtling downward, face first.

He barely had a split second to shield his face as his body crashed into the planet with cataclysmic force, shattering a vast portion of it as if it were mere dust.

Countless inhabitants of the planet were obliterated in an instant, their screams of horror echoing through the atmosphere like a haunting cry of despair.

Multiple supreme-rank demons flew out with angry expressions, ready to confront whoever dared to attack their home. But when they saw a figure shrouded in pure dark energy, stronger than anything they had ever encountered, with only two glowing obsidian eyes visible, their souls nearly abandoned their bodies.

The supreme-rank demons scattered like headless chickens and vanished, leaving their people to perish without a care.

Their own lives were more important!

Kyle coughed and floated out of the destruction surrounding him. His clothes were bloodied and torn, with many of his bones broken. He licked the blood oozing from the corner of his lips and stared at the figure shrouded in darkness.

He knew Azazeal had lost it, but he still couldn't help himself.

This jerk had nearly killed him so many times he couldn't even count.

"If it gives you so much agony, why remember them? Forget-"

He shut his mouth when a clenched fist stopped just inches from his face, ready to strike. He stared into those obsidian eyes and felt that if he continued, Azazeal would truly kill him. So, The changed his question.

"Tell me something..."

He enveloped his body in a layer of icy power, bracing himself in case Azazeal aimed for his face again. He had no desire to be disfigured, even if he could heal.

"...just how strong are you?"

Hearing this, clarity finally began to return to the eyes staring at him. They blinked.

"You want to know? Should I show you?"

Azazeal glanced to the side, locking onto the image Kyle had formed in his mind to view his stats at any time from the corner of his eye. It was as if he saw everything about him with just that single glance.

"Your strength isn't enough to truly grasp just how powerful I am."

He whispered.

"But if you're eager to know, I will show you. In the end, it's up to your mental capacity how much you can perceive."

Kyle's eyes trembled as the familiar image that consistently displayed his stats began to morph before him. The words twisted and rearranged, revealing a glimpse of the immense power the man floating before him possessed.

Kyle's eyes began to bleed. The words on the image vanished in a heartbeat, yet he absorbed every single detail in that fleeting instant. Every minuscule element.

"Just what are you?"

Azazeal felt Kyle's consciousness fading in and out and looked at him, only to see his green eyes clouded with blood.

He unclenched his fist and pressed one of his fingers to his forehead, a gesture meant to accelerate the moment when his body would lose its balance mid-air.

"Like always... you witnessed far more than I ever envisioned."

He muttered and watched as the man's body fell back, falling downward in the dark space

filled with stars and distant planets.

Yet, before Kyle completely lost his consciousness, he murmured.

"At least my luck is better than yours..."

He felt relief. Azazeal's stats were truly abnormal. With such strength, who could possibly

match him?

But at least his luck was good.

If they ever fought a battle where a final move could determine their ending, he was sure he would win... he would surely.

Azazeal looked down when he heard his whisper. The madness in his gaze faded, replaced by a

distant expression.

"Luck? Maybe that's why our future is so grim. However, it's already written that the Celestial realm will open. You cannot stop that. So, help me expedite the process. Find the Celestial spirits because I am unable to. Perhaps that's also due to luck."

He disappeared into the space, leaving behind a flutter of dark and purple particles that surged toward Kyle's figure, deepening the imprint he had left on him last time to tell him if

the man found a Celestial spirit.

Silence returned to the area, thick and heavy, as if the very air held its breath.

Multiple demons emerged from the planet that had become collateral damage due to the

sudden fight and looked around. One of them, a bald woman, whispered.

"What just happened? Our leader ran away... Should we run too?"

Another slapped her head.

"Shut up! Contact the shadow generals! We aren't afraid like those cowardly bastards, the supreme rank demons, who fled the moment they saw danger! They even abandoned their

home planet!"

Many demons cheered him on, and his nose rose a few meters above. However, suddenly an icy aura spread through the air in the distance, and he was the first to run off with a cry, leaving behind the others who stared at him speechless because the aura hadn't even reached

their location.

Inside the icy aura that spread out to encompass a vast space, Kyle's figure floated silently. His eyes were closed, yet his body had ceased to fall, coming to a stop in the stillness of the

dark space.

The brilliant blue glow radiating from his body surged forth, mending all his bones and wounds with a speed that could be witnessed even by the naked eye.
