Chapter 21: The Code of Freedom

The moment Drax's lifeless body hit the floor, Kate stood still—his chest heaving, hands shaking, the blood of revenge staining his fingertips. He had done it. The monster who had hunted, tortured, and broken everything they once knew was finally gone. But instead of satisfaction, a heavy silence fell over him.

He looked at his bloodied hands… and saw Celin face.

A flood of memories struck him like a storm—nights in the bunker with Celin laughing, the promises they once made, and the loyalty they had sworn as brothers-in-arms. He could still hear Celin voice echoing in his head, "Don't forget who we are, no matter how deep we fall."

Kate gritted his teeth. He didn't want to feel anything. But he did.

Turning to Kelin, who had been waiting in the shadows, silent and watchful, Kate reached into his jacket and handed him a folded slip of paper—stained with blood and sweat.

"This… is the code," he muttered. "Get your brother out. He doesn't belong there anymore."

Kelin's eyes widened. "You serious?"

Kate didn't speak. He only nodded, his face torn between pride and regret.

Kelin bolted out like a man chasing a miracle. Every step toward the prison felt like a war with time. He knew the code could be traced. He knew the Red Cult would be watching. But none of that mattered now.

Inside the prison, alarms buzzed as systems were overridden. Cameras glitched. Guards shouted. And then—click.

The steel doors creaked open.

There stood Celin.

Gaunt. Bruised. Eyes sunken with sleepless years. But still him.

They stared at each other in disbelief. No words. Just raw emotion. Then Kelin ran forward and pulled his brother into a tight embrace, tears flooding his cheeks.

"I told you I'd come back," he whispered. "I told you I'd burn the whole world if I had to."

Without looking back, they fled into the shadows.

Hours later, in a hidden complex tucked deep in the mountains, Kelin gave Celin clean clothes—black combat boots, a fresh green hoodie, and a new gold lion chain—symbol of their rebirth. They sat outside under the stars, drinks in hand, as music played faintly in the background.

For a night, the war faded. Laughter returned. They cracked jokes, told stories, and for the first time in years… they felt alive.

But far away, in a cold dark chamber, a red screen lit up.

"Celin… has escaped."

The war was far from over.

To be continued....
