Chapter 5: Memory lost, throne taken
Months passed.
Melin, once a kind-hearted son who risked his life for his family, was now a different person—reborn in the shadows of the Ballas gang.
After surviving the gunshot, Fedrick made sure Melin never remembered the truth.
Through chemical injections, psychological manipulation, and Red Cult-controlled drugs, Melin's mind was completely rewritten.
They told him his father was a traitor.
They told him his mother abandoned him.
They told him his brother Celin murdered their family.
They filled his memory with lies… until the truth was gone.
Now dressed in black leather, covered in tattoos, and feared across the streets of San-Jamb, Melin was no longer the boy who cried for his family. He was now known by a different name:
"King M" — the new leader of the Ballas street unit.
Fedrick handed him his father's old position in the Red Cult—the throne Felin once ran from. The same throne that destroyed his life… now belonged to his brainwashed son.
"You've got your father's fire," Fedrick told him.
"But you're loyal. You're mine now."
And Melin believed him.
Meanwhile… In San Track
Far away, in a quiet corner of San Track, Kelin — the youngest and now the last free brother — was still alive.
Everyone thought he had died in the ambush, but Kelin had escaped that night, hiding inside a delivery truck headed out of the city. With no family, no food, and no home, he survived alone, growing colder and wiser.
But Kelin had a gift: he was brilliant with computers.
In a dusty garage turned hideout, he built his own hacking system. He stayed hidden, but his eyes were everywhere. His hands were in government files, prison logs, gang cameras, and digital security systems.
One day, after months of searching, he found Celin's prison profile.
His eyes watered seeing his brother's picture in an orange jumpsuit, still alive… still locked away.
"They framed him too," Kelin muttered. "Just like the others."
And he made a decision.
"I will break him out."
Kelin began secretly sending messages to his brother through the prison library computer system—disguised in books and files. It was risky, but Celin began to notice.
The first message was simple:
"You're not alone."
Then came another:
"Your name is Celin Felin. Your brother Melin is alive… but they've taken his mind."
And then:
"I'm still here. I'm Kelin. I'm coming for you. But I need your help."
Celin read the words over and over, shocked. He thought Kelin had died in the massacre. But now… hope was born again.
