Champion Of Lust: Gods Conquer's Harem Paradise!

Chapter 190: Chaotic Return!

The sun rose quietly over the Sunstone Empire, casting long shadows across the chaotic streets of the Midnight Dominion.

Pyris stood on the balcony of the hidden base, taking one last look at the city below. His eyes narrowed slightly as the realization dawned on him—this was not goodbye, only a brief departure. The empire was now under Ammit's control, a powerful ally he had left behind to steer the course in his absence.

Ammit stood next to him, her expression calm, her dark energy crackling faintly in the early light.

She, herself was more than capable of handling the empire's internal strife, and now with Pyris' influence solidified, she would act as the real power behind the throne, while the puppet king remained under his servitude.

"I suppose this is farewell for now," Ammit said, her voice low and measured. Her eyes gleamed with a dangerous ambition, tempered only by her loyalty to him.

Pyris turned to her with a small smile. "You know how to reach me. Keep the empire stable, and make sure the king plays his part."

She nodded, her confidence evident. "I'll handle everything. You focus on your empire. By the time you return, the Sunstone Empire will be ready for whatever you need it to be."

He admired the certainty in her words. "I trust you, Ammit. I'll be back soon enough."

With that, they looked at each other before Pyris kissed her in a deep kiss that carried the weight of his thoughts, their bond had transcended mere partners now solidified with their desire for each other.

Pyris called for Mira. It was time to return to the Dragon Empire.

____

As they prepared to leave, Elsa dashed out of the base, her small feet pattering excitedly against the stone floor. Her bright white hair was still messy, tied in a half-hearted ponytail. Pyris crouched down with a grin, opening his arms as she leaped into them.

"Big brother, are we going home now?" she asked, her wide eyes filled with excitement.

"Yes, little one," he said, picking her up and placing her on his shoulders. "We're heading back home."

Elsa squealed with delight, gripping onto his hair as she settled into place. "I can't wait to see it! Will it be as big as this nice home?"

"Bigger, nicer" Pyris chuckled, adjusting her so she sat comfortably. "And less chaotic. But most importantly, you will be able to do your little hobbies so well."

He turned to Mira, who stood ready. Her eyes glimmered with the Void energy she wielded so easily, and she stepped forward, her movements fluid. She reached out, creating a shimmering portal of dark energy before them, her mastery of the Void allowing for quick travel across great distances.

Mira glanced back at Pyris. "Shall we, Young Lord?"

Pyris gave one last look to the Midnight Dominion, then stepped through the portal with Elsa perched on his shoulders and Mira close behind. The world warped around them, darkness and void swirling in a dizzying spiral before they were pulled across the dimensions, the air crackling with magic.

______

The void portal opened seamlessly, its dark, swirling energy dissipating as Pyris, with Elsa on his shoulders, stepped into his office.

The sleek room at Obsidian Tech's headquarters seemed almost out of place compared to the chaotic streets of the Midnight Dominion he had left behind. As the warm, familiar energy of the Dragon Empire enveloped him, Pyris couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of purpose.

"Home sweet home~" Elsa chuckled at his exaggerated words.

Beside him, Mira emerged from the void silently, her phantom presence barely causing a ripple.

The transition had been flawless, thanks to her precise manipulation of the void. Yet, despite the calm atmosphere, the air around Pyris vibrated with the residual power he had carried from the Sunstone Empire.

Elsa's eyes widened as she took in the grandeur of the office, her small hands still gripping Pyris' hair for balance. "It's even bigger than I imagined!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with awe as she gazed out at the towering buildings visible through the large windows.

Before Pyris could respond, three figures turned abruptly from the corner of his office.

Lizzie, Suzie, and Esmeralda—the vice CEO of Obsidian Tech—had been engrossed in discussion, their voices hushed until the void's sudden energy shift brought their attention to the new arrivals. Their eyes widened as they saw Pyris standing before them, his presence commanding the room.

"Pyris!" Esmeralda was the first to speak, her voice sharp but filled with relief. Her red eyes, laced with the same elemental energy that marked all powerful mages in the Dragon Empire, sparkled as she assessed him. "We didn't expect you so soon." She looked beautiful as he remembered in her dark long dress only a few inches from touching the floor.

Lizzie blinked in surprise, her fingers still hovering over the stack of arcane files she had been reviewing. "We were just discussing—"

"I know what you were discussing," Pyris interrupted smoothly, gently lifting Elsa off his shoulders and setting her on the floor. "But I'm here now. And I assume you have more to say about what's been going on in my absence."

Elsa ran ahead, her curiosity drawing her to the strange artifacts scattered across Pyris' desk, her small fingers reaching out to touch the intricate magical tools. Pyris watched her for a moment before turning his attention fully to the three women.

"Keeping me busy as soon as I reach, huh?" He mused but went back to business.

Esmeralda crossed her arms, her magical aura flickering with tension.

Though she was vice CEO, everyone in the room knew that Pyris Obsidian was the true force behind Obsidian Tech despite his young age. "We've kept things running smoothly," Esmeralda began, her voice measured, "but I won't lie—there's been trouble."

Suzie's eyes narrowed as she stepped closer, her own elemental magic swirling lightly around her. "The energy in the Vampire Empire has been... tense. We've heard whispers of dark movements. Silas has been stirring something up."

Pyris remained silent, his gaze hardening. The tension in the Vampire Empire was not unexpected, but now that he was back, he could feel the shift in the air—power plays were underway, and Silas was clearly at the heart of it.

"And you kept it from me," Pyris remarked, his voice calm, though a dangerous edge flickered beneath the surface.

Lizzie stepped forward quickly. "We didn't want to disturb you while you were away. Besides, Mira kept us informed about what was happening, and we managed the situation without alerting you unnecessarily."

Mira remained silent by his side, her expression unreadable, though Pyris knew she had acted on his orders. It had been his own choice to stay focused on the mission in the Sunstone Empire, but now the consequences of leaving his home unattended were surfacing.

But it wasn't like he wasn't aware, he was just showing his detest to it.

Esmeralda's eyes gleamed as she continued, her voice growing more intense. "We believe Silas is preparing to strike at the heart of our businesses in the Vampire Empire. He's trying to sow distrust, using whispers of betrayal, rumors of your alliances with those who oppose Dracula's rule. He's fanning the flames of rebellion in the vampire court."

Pyris clenched his fist at the mention of Dracula's uncle, Vorath, a name that sent chills through the magical communities of every empire.

The ancient vampire had been an opposing force in the vampire kingdom for centuries, a being so powerful that even Dracula himself had barely managed to keep him at bay. Pyris had known about Vorath's quiet but ever-present influence, but the fact that Silas had managed to ally with such a formidable enemy made the situation all the more precarious.

"Vorath…" Pyris muttered under his breath, a hint of amusement dancing in his voice. "Silas is playing with fire. But I'm not surprised he'd be foolish enough to make deals with someone like him."
