Chapter 8: Going Home Together
'Do you somehow know him?' I asked.
'U-uh sorry, nothing,' he murmured.
(To myself) 'He seemed a little agitated tho!'
'Then who will be the other 5 members?' asked Aisha.
'Slamm!'
Someone shuttered the door open.
'I heard you are the one given the task of choosing your teammates for school Idol competition!'
(To myself) 'Ooho! So, Parbati has the guts to come here again.'
'Well, yes'.
'I want to join too.'
'And why will I let you?'
'Of course, because I have the ability to dance and sing maybe even better than you. I am a better person to become the leader of the group'.
'Ooo! I see... Well you can surely join the group after all I am kind-hearted right!'
Parbati's face turned blue.
(To myself) 'Looks like I scared this little rat a bit too much.
'Anyways, go back to your class Aisha and all of you go back to your respective places. The tiffin period is about to end.'

The school bell rang.
'All of you complete the homework as soon as possible...blah blah blah....', and the teacher keeps yelling at us about it.
(To myself) 'Finally, the class ended and now I can go home and then to my room and then to my bed...I am so sleepy.'
'So what are you going to do now after school?' Rahul asked.
'Have an afternoon nap, maybe'.
Suddenly,
'Rina, do you remember me?' Bhaskar jumped from back out of nowhere.
'When did you come here? Can't you just come to me normally? Man, you startled me.'
(To myself) 'Why am I feeling something is burning behind me?'
I turned back only to see Rahul was grumping over something I don't know.
'How about going to the home together?' asked Rahul.
(To myself) 'What is he asking me for a date? Wait, he is just asking me to go home together AS A FRIEND. Don't overthink! Wait!'
'Isn't our house in full opposite direction of mine?'
'Who told you that?'
'I saw you coming from the opposite direction.'
'So, you noticed me that day'. Rahul looked at me with face and one brow-lifted.
(To myself) 'Should I just take a quick pic of him? So handsome! So seductive!'
'No, I just came back from my aunt's house directly that day,' Rahul said.
'Where do you live now?' I asked.
'You will find it once you step out of the school with me.'
'What about me?' Bhaskar asked.
(To himself) 'Ahh! My eyes! Don't look at me with those puppy eyes!'
'You will return to your home'.
Rahul smirked at him suddenly while Bhaskar looked at him with angry eyes.
Suddenly, Bhaskar came close to my face.
'So, my lady, please remember to send me the details and the date when the rehearsal will start.'
'Ok'.
(To myself) 'Now, Bhaskar smirked at him and Rahul is angry at him. What the hell is going on between these two!'

Finally, I left the school. But, someone was still staring at me at my back who is none other than Rahul.
I stopped.
'Rahul, is your house really along this way? I meant I am not causing you any burden, right?'
'Of course, not.'
'Huff...! Anyways! I didn't know you could sing and dance! From when did you learn those?'
'From childhood. My mom is a western dancer, model and an actress. While my father is a Singer.'
'Wow, then your house is really lively, right!'
'Lively, yeah maybe!' Rahul said it in a frowned face.
(To myself) 'What happened to him? Did I hurt his soft point, somehow?'
'I am sorry it looks like I shouldn't have talked about that.'
'No-no it's ok'.
'Looks like reached my house gate, bye, see you tomorrow. Wait, where's yours?' I asked.
'I reached my house too', Rahul answered.
'Where'
'Here, in front of yours!'
'What! (To myself) This castle-type house is his!'
(To be continued)
