My eyes started to itch feeling the sunlight filter through the curtains of the room.
My hand went up trying to cover my closed eyes from the sun when everything that happened came crashing down and I stood up from the bed where I was supposedly sleeping.
Now being wide awake I started touching my body, then my legs, my arms, and lastly my head along with my face.
Looking around I was in a rundown room with dust and grime covering the floor and the walls along with mold on the wooden roof, as well as cobwebs on the corners.
It appeared to be a very old one-room house with a door of wooden planks at the far opposite left of the house, a closet opposite the door a little nearer to me to the right. The bed, if I can even call it that since it appeared to be a few planks and leaves put together haphazardly, was right at the other left corner of the house from my perspectiva. The window was opposite me to my right, with a pair of curtains riddled with holes covering it.
Under the window was a wooden table with a few scrolls on it along with a wooden stool.
Before I could look at anything else I felt the mother of all headaches assault me.
With it I fell from the bed clutching my head. I stayed in a fetal position holding my head for a few seconds before the pain started to subside little by little.
When it finally ended I stood up with difficulty holding onto the bed trying to stay upright.
So...
Everything that happened was actually real.
Walking towards the table I took the stool and sat on it while looking at the scattered scrolls, some of them just being texts and texts of words and others having drawings of the human body following some kind of yoga movements.
These must be cultivation manuals and from the texts that I'm somehow capable of reading, these are specifically for Body Tempering. You literally temper and prepare your body to then enter the realm of Qi Refining.
And so on and so forth for the rest of the realms of this world, or at least, from this planet. The texts only mention till the Nascent Soul Realm starting from Body Tempering, Qi Refining, Foundation Establisment, Core Formation, Golden Core and finally Nascent Soul.
Now then, lets revise this bodys memories better.

A few hours later I open my eyes and stand from the bed while yawning and stretching.
Man, what I life this has had.
To think it would be the tipical trope of a genius who gets his cultivation abolished from an ambush and then gets relegated from his high position to that of a servant.
Well, good thing is, today was my day off. Bad thing, the person that I was put to serve.
See, this is the problem of being a rising star while having no background and making so many enemies, be it intentionally or not, once you fall from grace, there'll be no one to help you or hold you at your worst.
And then there's my "master", or more like "mistress". The fact that I ended up at the claws of an intentional enemy just seems like one heck of a cosmic joke.
Apparently, this enemy I made when I, and I mean I, beat the crap out of her little sister. She was with the rest of her friends pulling a prank on another friend and I, or more like the previous owner of this body, thought that she was actually bullying the friend. And in his all-seeing and all-understanding mind, he decided to beat them to teach them a lesson.

Ugh, I'll just deal with it as it comes.
Now then, lets get outside and get a little of fresh air.
Walking towards the door I started to think on how I would spend the day.
Maybe I could get some action in with [Conditioning] to start to bulk up. Knowing the world that I'm in I should start to get stronger. The sooner, the better.
Opening the door I came to look at one of the most beautiful scenerys I've ever seen since my past life.
As far as the eye could see there were kilometric mountains, along with valleys full of greenery with snaking rivers here and there. The sky as blue as it could get along with big and small white clouds sparingly distanced one from another.
My house was positioned at nearly the edge of a rocky cliff, over a grassy ground surrounded by tall and small trees. Right behind the rundown house was a lake of crystalline water along with a waterfall that was coming from up the mountanious wall that was across the lake, opposite the house.
At the right of the house there was a nearly destroyed stone pathway that from I'm seeing leads down the mountain.
Getting nearer the edge of the cliff I looked down to see a very big state with ancient chinese-looking buildings. Each building was distanced from one another by an stone pathway in much better conditions than the one leading to my house.
There were a few pagodas put here and there giving the place a good aescetic. Now that I look better, there a few big shadows that look static.
Looking up once again, my eyes widen the moment that in my vision appear floating islands, a few of them conected to one another by giant chains, each one of them as well as the bottom of the islands full of runes.
Those might be whats powering each landmass.
Amazing...
Snapping out of my reverie I went towards the shore of the lake and took off the upper part of my servant attire. Yes, I have a servant uniform.
Now that I think about, for the kind of world that I'm in, I have quite the normal name. If anyone's wondering, the name's Rowan.
Now then, lets take a look at my [Status].

Now thats something.
Trying to slot the few abilities that I have I feel that there is no cooldown between each ability that I have. That in itself is good. Having the power to instantly change between abilities instantly is something that's going to most probably save my life in the future.
Now then lets begin with a few push ups and continue with varied exercises.

I think I pushed myself too hard.
And since I hadn't had any food since this morning I'm starving, like, really bad.
Shit.
Feeling once again the effects of [Conditioning] kicking in, I stood up.
The tiredness may be gone, but the soreness from all this will stay for fucking sure. Ugh.
Calling my status I wanted yo see how good has been the improvement.

Not bad, not bad at all.
Looking up while covering my eyes a little with my right hand I saw that the sun was already at its zenith up above.
You what that means, don't you?
Yep, it's lunch time.
Before I even took one step forward a pungent smell assaulted my nose making me cover it.
"Blurgh, the hell's that smell?!"
Wait.
Uncovering my nose while putting up my arm I smelled myself and recoiled.
"I AM that smell."
Taking the rest of my garments off I walked towards the lake and submerged myself completely, letting the fresh water caress my skin and feeling all the accumulated tension of the morning disappear.
Getting out of the water I went for the clothes on the floor and submerged those as well, scrubbing the upper part with the lower part.
Ahh~, now thats refreshing.
Getting them out I put them to dry on a branch of a nearby tree.
After that I entered the house and opened the closet. Inside of it there were only nine more of the same servants uniform.
Taking one at random I donned it and got out of the house once again not before taking the bow, arrows anf hunting knife from under the bed.
One of the ways that the pair of sisters decided to take revenge against me was to not deliver any kind of food to me as well as banishing me to this cliff-house. Their objective, to make me an outcast even among servants. And I must say, their plan is going a tad bit too well.
Nonetheless, before my predecessor became even a cultivator, he was a hunter and an herb recollector. That they didn't see coming, hehehe...
Jumping from brach to branch with the bow strapped to my back as well as the quiver of arrows, along with the hunting knife strapped to my right hip, I searched for prey.
I was searching specially for rabbits and foxes, anything bigger might take even much more time than I needed.
After a few minutes of searching that was getting to near be an hour of search for prey I finally found it.
A pair of rabbits a few trees away eating grass. Taking the bow as well as two arrows from the quiver and placing them on the bow, I drew the string and held my breath.
But before I let go I remembered that I had another ability for this kind of situation.
Slotting in [Level Up!] I drew the bow again while holding my breath and then let go both the string of the bow and my breath.

Both through the head. Celebrating a little I got down from the tree and got near both rabbits, I even felt a little stronger.
Calling up my status I saw that the ability had done its job.

Going by the increase both rabbits had each 10 and 9 in Vitality and Strength respectively. While it varied at the Dexterity, one of them being at 16 and the other at 17.
Quite the increase indeed.
But, if they both had stats nearing twenty, how is it possible that they didn't dodge the arrows?
Ya know what? Forget about it. We were but three meters apart, so I'll just atribute it to them having had easy and peaceful lifes that they react to the arrows.
Taking both rabbit corpses I brought them to the house.
Doing a cut in their necks I hung them from a low branch to let then bleed out. Once they both bled out I cut them open to get their insides out, and then I peeled their skin.
Cutting of their heads and their legs I coocked the legs and body apart on a bonfire mad out of dried wood, branches, and leaves, discarding the bowels and the heads.
Little by little both rabbits started to coock themeselves until their meat obtained a good golden-brown color. That meant that they were already done.
Taking both off the fire I made sure to enjoy the lunch.
Thank goodness that the muscle experience of hunting and all the yada had been ingrained in this body and my mind.
But I must say, having eaten something that I hunted somehow made it taste better.
Resting a little after eating I changed [Level Up!] for [Conditioning] and started the grind once more.

Doing this the whole afternoon left me exhausted. But I still had to have dinner so, to hunt again.
Habing eaten the rabbits apparently allowed me to get some extra juice from [Conditioning], that coupled with the fact that I increased my stats with [Level Up!], I obtained five more points per stat, making my status look like this.

But now that I think about, shouldn't I have gotten any ticket from hunting these rabbits? Or even the fox that now I'm having for dinner?(This I know from the instinctual knowledge that comes from the system.

I just couldn't stop laughing. This was one of the happiest moments of this life and I've only been alive in this world for twenty-four hours.
It was only a few minutes later that I finally stopped laughing, I even cried from laughing so hard, and my stomach ached, but it was well worth it.
