Cheat Million Love

The school bus rolled steadily along, carrying Nic's basketball team to the tournament venue. Inside, the atmosphere buzzed with light chatter and jokes among his friends, but Nic sat quietly, focused on what lay ahead. One of his teammates turned to him.

"Nic, are you sure you can win against the strong teams later?" the teammate asked curiously.

Nic looked at him with eyes full of determination. "Just pass me the ball. I'll get through all of them and score as many points as possible," Nic replied seriously.

That statement left everyone silent for a moment. The teammate who had doubted him started to believe. Everyone could see that Nic, once lazy and unmotivated, had now transformed into someone driven and focused.

Elsewhere on the bus, Nic quietly pulled out his phone and ordered something. No one knew what, but he clearly saw it as part of his plan.

When they arrived at the tournament venue, the parking area was already crowded. Many students from other schools arrived in private cars, showing off their wealth. As Nic stepped off the bus, he was immediately greeted by Vivi and Leona.

"Where's Nia?" Nic asked, noticing the student council president was missing.

"Nia's busy with student council matters. She'll catch up later," Vivi replied.

The three of them entered the gym packed with basketball courts and players warming up. Cheers echoed throughout the place.

On one of the courts, a player scored with flashy style. That player, Rio, immediately locked eyes with Vivi.

"Hey, Vivi, who's the bum standing next to you?" he sneered.

Vivi didn't respond. She simply held Nic's hand and led him to the locker room. Leona, curious, lingered for a moment to observe the court.

Meanwhile, Rio spotted Leona and tried to get her attention.

"Oh, you must be Leona, right? I heard your family has big influence around here. We should talk more later," he said smugly.

Leona gave him a cold, slightly disgusted look. "Sorry, you're not on my level," she snapped before walking off to catch up with Vivi and Nic. Rio clenched his fists in frustration, but there was nothing he could do.

When Nic, Vivi, and Leona came out of the locker room, they saw Nic's teammates being mocked by players from another school.

"Solis Academy? The team with no basketball medals? How are you guys even brave enough to show up?" one of the opponents laughed.

The taunting continued until Nic had had enough. When one of his teammates was forced to take a shot from a ridiculous distance, Nic stepped in.

"I'll take that shot," he said coldly.

From a far corner, the rival players laughed. "No use. Only pro-level athletes can make that shot!"

Nic said nothing. He calmly picked up the ball, eyed the hoop, and threw it. Before the ball even went in, he raised his hand and flashed a love sign toward Vivi and Leona. Everyone gasped when the ball went through the hoop cleanly.

Leona shouted with joy. "Ha! Take that!"

The Match Begins

With every match, Nic played like a beast. He slipped past defenders, racked up points, and led his team all the way to the finals. There, they faced Rio's team from Shine Academy.

As the teams prepared, Rio walked up to Nic with his beautiful girlfriend.

"Hey, how about we place a bet? If I win, Vivi comes back to me. If I lose, you can have my girlfriend," he said arrogantly.

Nic didn't reply, but Vivi casually chimed in, "Just accept it, Nic. I know you're going to win."

Rio grew more irritated at Vivi's confidence.

The game began, and Rio quickly took the lead. He scored point after point, with little resistance from Nic's team. The crowd started murmuring as it looked like Nic's team was being crushed.

With only half the game left in this single-round match, the scoreboard showed a wide gap. Rio began taunting Nic again.

"So this is the great champion everyone's talking about? How pathetic. You're just making your fans cry in the finals."

Nic stayed quiet for a moment, then answered calmly, "Are you done talking?"

From that moment, the atmosphere shifted. When Nic activated his basketball skill and had the ball in his hands, he became unstoppable.

Every shot went in. Every move sliced through Rio's defense. The crowd erupted as they watched a dramatic comeback unfold.

With only seconds left, Nic scored the final basket, putting his team ahead by a slim margin. It was an epic and unbelievable turnaround. Rio stood frozen, stunned by what just happened. He had lost—by a single point.

"What the hell!? This can't be happening!" Rio shouted in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Nic's team celebrated joyfully, marking their first-ever win as a basketball club. Vivi, Leona, and even Nia, who had finally arrived, joined the celebration.

Nic simply smiled, looking at Rio with a victorious gaze.
