Chronicles of Multiverse

Chapter 3: Meeting the gang (Part 2)

The sky darkened as Appa flew low over the Southern Water Tribe's icy tundra. The weight of my words hung heavily in the air. Aang sat motionless, staring at the horizon, his eyes filled with a mix of disbelief and sorrow. Katara held a hand to his shoulder, her expression soft yet determined, while Sokka glanced at me suspiciously every few seconds.

"How do you know all this?" Sokka finally broke the silence, his tone sharp.

I sighed, leaning back slightly against Appa's saddle. "It is my fire bending skills or the talent of my fire bending, ever since I was a child I had a strange connection to the sun. When I grew up, I realized the potential of this connection I can 'communicate' with the sun. It is more like prediction and I have been wrong before, I can tell the future, past, and present but the future and present I see are about 30% accurate but the past is revealed to me in dreams and almost always right"

"Almost? You mean there is a chance you are wrong about the air benders" Katar the intelligent one quickly found the error in my statement. Aang perked up with this statement, hopeful that the airbender was truly alive.

"True but I wouldn't count on it. We know that Sozin is planning to take over the world, and the only threat to his ambition is Aang, the avatar. Now, he wouldn't dare attack Avatar Roku directly. He is too powerful since he is a fully mature avatar, but by the movement he is dead he knows that the next avatar is from the air nomads so you are probably on his hit list." I said to which Aang dropped his head again, Katara glared at me while Sokka was still suspicious.

Aang's voice was soft, he said "I—I need to see it for myself. The Southern Air Temple."

I expected that. He needed closure, no matter how painful it would be. I glanced at Katara and Sokka. "We first got to drop them off, they have their own families to worry about. Then, we can go to the air temple" I said to Aang but Katara immediately said

"No, we are coming too."

"Wait, we are?" Sokka said, Katara looked embarrassed at her brother before saying

"Yes, we are. I don't think it was a mistake that we found the avatar. Plus, we can't leave him with him" Katara explained, glaring at me in the end.

"Hey, I get I am from the fire nation but I am also the one who brought you information and also going to be the one who teaches Aang fire bending," I said, everyone looked at me like a bomb had been dropped on their heads even aang looked in surprise. "What? Why do you think I went to find Aang even when it had almost nothing to do with me? Plus, Aang is the avatar and to become a fully matured one he must train in all 4 elements. Who is going to teach him fire bending?"

This gave everyone clarity as Sokka looked at me and asked "Why do you have to be the one?"

"Did you forget what I just said? Are you stupid? Do you lack brain cells? I just said I could see the future due to my extreme talent in fire bending. Why do you think I was given this talent? It is my destiny to teach Aang, as long as he agrees I will make sure he will be the second best fire bender" I said, Sokka looked mad after hearing the first part then turned embarrassed in the second part. Meanwhile, Katara looked at me with a stare that screamed I have to tolerate you more now. Aang was sweatdropping and trying to maintain harmony between me and Sokka while also looking hopeful.

"Nice, When do we start?" Aang said excitedly and the mood turned more jovial than it was before.

"Hold your horses, There is a process to everything. You must learn the elements like thought in the avatar cycle" I said with a smile,

"Wouldn't it be better for you to teach me now?" Aang was confused and asked.

"No, There is a reason for everything aang. Air is the element of freedom, since you were born as an air nomad it will show the most on you. Since your avatar has to bring the end to tranny and give people their freedom back. Water is the element of change, you will bring a change to how things are done thus water will be your next stage. It is also the one that is similar to Air, so you will learn it fairly quickly.

Earth is the element of stability, you must bring stability into this world ridden with war and it is the opposite to air but since you learned water which can be seen as sort of a middle ground you can learn it after you learn water otherwise it will be very difficult. Fire is the element of Power, to bring anything or just to live in this world you need power. You need stability in your heart if you wish to wield such power otherwise it is disastrous not for you but everyone around" I dropped some wisdom quotes for them as we reached our destination.
