Chapter 4: Memory of memories
Arian found himself running through the dark streets of the old city, the ancient book in his hands throbbing with a strange force. His heart was pounding, his mind filled with questions. Who was this man who had suddenly appeared? Why had he ordered him to run? What did he mean by "no time to explain"?
He had no answers to these questions, but he knew one thing: he had to go back there. He had to go back to where he had left Allen and his father.
Arian stopped for a moment, and looked around. He was in a narrow, dark alley, окружен with old buildings that seemed to tell stories and tales from the distant past. The moon was shining dimly, but it was not enough to dispel the darkness that was enveloping the city.
Arian took the book out of his bag, and opened it. The pages began to glow with a strange light, and the letters began to move and intertwine. Arian felt as if the book was trying to tell him something, but he could not understand it.
Suddenly, he heard a voice calling him. It was a faint voice, but clear enough for him to hear.
"Ariane," the voice said. "You're here."
Ariane looked around, but saw no one.
"Who's there?" he asked.
"I'm here," the voice said. "I'm Aline."
Ariane ran in the direction of the voice, and found Aline sitting on the ground, looking tired.
"Alinee," Ariane said. "What happened?"
"A shadow attacked us," Alinee said. "It was very strong."
"Where's my father?" Ariane asked.
"The shadow took him," Alinee said. "It said it would kill him if he didn't get the book."
Ariane was furious. He couldn't believe his father had been taken from him again.
"I won't let him do this," Ariane said. "I'll go back and save my father."
"But how?" Alinee asked. "The shadow is very strong. I don't know how we're going to defeat it."
"I have a plan," Arian said. "The book can help us."
"How?" Aline asked.
"I don't know exactly," Aline said. "But I know that the book holds secrets. We must find a way to unlock those secrets."
Arian took the book and began flipping through the pages. He was looking for anything that could help him.
Suddenly, he came across a page with a strange drawing on it. The drawing looked like a maze.
"Aline," Arian said. "Look at this drawing."
Aline looked at the drawing and said, "I think I've seen this drawing before."
"Where?" Arian asked.
"Somewhere in the old city," Aline said. "I think there's a cave with the same drawing."
"Do you think this cave can help us?" Arian asked.
"I don't know," Aline said. "But I think it's worth a try."
Arian and Aline decided to go to the cave. They hoped to find something in it that would help them save Arian's father.
They reached the cave, and found that the drawing on the page matched the drawing on the cave wall.
"That's right," said Aline. "That's where I saw the drawing."
They entered the cave, and found that it was very dark. Aline took a flashlight out of his bag, and lit the way.
They walked through the cave for a long time, and came to a large room. In the middle of the room was an old well.
"What is this?" Aline asked.
"I don't know," Aline said. "But I feel it's important."
They approached the well, and looked down. There was a dim light at the bottom.
"What is this?" Aline asked.
"I don't know," Aline said. "But I feel it's pulling me."
Aline decided to go down into the well. He tied a rope around his waist, and Aline held the other end.
Arian went down the well, and reached a small room. In the room was a wooden box.
Arian opened the box, and found a small book inside. The book was written in a strange language.
"What is this?" Aline asked.
"I don't know," Arian said. "But I feel like it's the key."
Arian took the book, and climbed up.
"Aline," Arian said. "I think this book is the key we're looking for."
"What do you mean?" Aline asked.
"I think this book can unlock the secrets in the ancient book," Arian said.
"But how?" Aline asked.
"I don't know," Arian said. "But we have to try."
Arian opened the small book, and began to read. Suddenly, the book began to glow, and the letters began to move and intertwine.
Arian felt something strange happening to him. He felt like a strange force was entering him.
Suddenly, everything stopped.
Arian looked around, and found that he was in a strange place. The place was like
the old city, but more modern.
"Where am I?" Arian asked.
"You are in the past," a voice said.
Arian looked, and saw a man standing before him. The man was dressed in strange clothes.
"Who are you?" Arian asked.
"I am the Guardian of Time," the man said. "I am here to help you."
"How?" Arian asked.
"The book you have is a key," the Guardian of Time said. "It can open doors to the past."
"But why?" Arian asked.
"You must know the truth," the Guardian of Time said. "The truth about
the book, about the shadows, about the old city."
"But what is this truth?" Arian asked.
"That is what you must discover for yourself," the Guardian of Time said.
"But how?" Arian asked.
"Use the book," the Guardian of Time said. "It will lead you to the truth."
The Guardian of Time disappeared, and Arian found himself alone in the strange city.
He took the book out of his bag, and began to read. The letters began to move and intertwine again.
Arian felt a strange force enter him. He felt as if he was traveling through time.
Suddenly, he found himself in another place. It was a dark cave.
There were two people in the cave. They were talking.
"We found the book," one of them said.
"That means we can open the portal," the other said.
"But what about the shadows?" one of them said.
"We'll kill them all," the other said.
Arian knew that these two people were the ones who wanted the book.
He approached them, and heard one of them say, "Where is it?"
The two looked around, and saw Arian.
