Chapter 16: A Case of Power 2
The little seen but interesting idea of the Celestidite. If the multiverse is infinite, why aren't there a ton of these?
Subject Name: Cassiotoma
Species: Nucleosapien-Celestialsapien Hybrid
Xeno-Ancestral Awakening: Anodite Spark
Reality of Origin: 1RR3L3V@N+
Many people throughout the multiverse have wondered about the extent of an Anodite's ability to have children with other races. With proper training, it seems they could mimic any genetic structure to form physical bodies for themselves. The most talented and well-researched could even edit the genetic code of their disguises, gaining and passing on abilities that would otherwise not exist in the species they are imitating.
This has led to rumors/legends of alleged "Celestidytes", theoretical offspring of an Anodite and Celestialsapien, who retain part, if not all, of their Celestial power upon ascending past their "fleshy" forms into pure energy. These rumors were, fortunately, false, as no Anodite had ever tried to pursue such powerful beings, and the Celestialsapiens own multiple personalities would make an attempted coupling with any other species virtually impossible.
But, in the infinite multiverse, there would always be attempts at something eventually. A Celestialsapien whose personalities were just starting to drift met a young Anodite. They would remember each other, meet countless eons later, and love would blossom.
Love, despite what children's stories throughout eternity would say, does not suddenly make babies appear.
Despite countless attempts, the Anodite could not form a body that could actually be compatible with their partner. Celestialsapien DNA was simply too complex for them to replicate, though their attempts certainly had interesting shows of power. Their partner's race, for all their power, cannot perceive or alter their own genetic code. (Attempts to do so typically led to the rare deaths of Celestialsapien, with laws passed to prevent this.)
Then, when they were about to give up, Ben Tennyson and other Omnitrix wielders throught the multiverse would create the Biomnitrix.
The Celestialsapien would recreate the device, using it on themselves to become a hybrid of the Nucleosapiens - the only race the device could succesfully bind cosmic DNA with. A form that their Anodite partner could comprehend far more easily. The Anodite themself was able to apply what she had learned to make a Nucleosapien hybrid form that was MORE powerful than Atomic-X, proving her experience better at hybridizing than the Biomnitrix itself.
And finally, after centuries, a child was born. The daughter of nuclear fusion, powerful magic, and phenomenal cosmic power.
How powerful is she? How powerful will she become? Will her cosmic abilities truly remain if she gives up the form she was born with? Only time will tell.
+++++
And, that is my take on the fanon idea of a Celestidite. Or, well, an Atomic Celestidite.
If it was easy to make magic demigod children, everyone would do it. This is my explanation for why the multiverse isn't swarming with unstoppable OP sociopaths. Especially because if they were, at least one would have tried to kill one of their cosmic progenitors. This isn't just with Anodites, Celestial DNA is too complex for any being to naturally have hybrid children with.
As for Atomix's race being the only one that can bind with it at all, there's a couple things.
The completed Omnitrix took the Big Bang head on, yet the Biomnitrix malfunctioned from a Solar Flare. While Ben 10k did use his smartest aliens to make the Biomnitrix, he is no Azmuth. Even if he was, it's clear there are limits to how you can combine different DNA when you don't have Osmosian hacks.
Atomic X, as impressive as he is, really only has a couple things putting him above regular Atomix - he is certainly NOT a 50-50 split. Ben, at 16/17 years old, barely had any experience with Alien X, but once he had the keys, he was making GALAXY-SIZED BLACK HOLES. Years with a hybrid, and the best he can do is fly and teleport while Maltruant flees with ease? If he could have fused Alien X with anything, he would've just become a Chronosapien hybrid. That would've put him above Maltruant, and likely would've made him immune to the Time Bomb.
Hell, Aggregor was certain that 10% of a BABY Celestialsapien was going to make him completely unstoppable.
Thus, one can conclude the Biomnitrix, on top of being more vulnerable to malfunction, has clear programming limits in how it combines DNA, especially since, even as Greymatter, Ben would look like a dumb rock when placed next to Azmuth. Even without those limits, Atomic X is the best the device can make, not even matching 10% of the power.
As for the Anodite mother being better at it than the Biomnitrix? One, magic. Two, the Anodites have been doing for eons what Azmuth needed thousands of years to do. Three, literal centuries of practice on that skill specifically.
Also, Cassiotoma's father is seen as freak for altering their genetic code, and barely avoided punishment because of cosmic-scale legal loopholes.
