Conqueror Of The Four World

Chapter 7: The Gathering Of Titans

Inside a grand room with a round table at its center, twelve figures sat in deep discussion. Their powerful presence was undeniable, especially the man in white robes, wearing a round hat.

"Congratulations on breaking through to the Martial King realm, Alliance Leader," said a man in tattered clothing. He was the sect leader of the Beggar Sect, one of the Ten Great Sects under the Righteous Alliance. The others quickly followed suit, offering their congratulations as well.

The man in the hat stood up, cupped his fists, and replied, "You all praise me too much." This was Liu Quan, the leader of the Righteous Alliance, the greatest force standing against the Heavenly Demon Sect. "Now that the Heavenly Demon Sect has begun resurfacing, I had to train even harder, risking my life to break through. The Great Sea… It was a challenge I will never forget."

A woman, stunningly beautiful, spoke next. With a fan in hand, she gently fanned her face, her every motion exuding elegance and danger. "What did you witness in the Great Sea that forced you to put your life on the line? What oppression made you break through to the King Realm?" she asked.

She was Rong Elyo, the sect leader of the Phoenix Wing Sect, known as the Phoenix Fairy. An ambitious woman, she was constantly seeking ways to reach the perfected Supreme Grandmaster realm—or, if fortune favored her, even the King Realm.

The other sect leaders shared her curiosity, pressing for an answer. Liu Quan's expression darkened. In a deep voice, he recounted, "I don't know if what I encountered was the beginning or the end of the Great Sea… but during my meditation, a creature—similar to an ancient dragon—attacked me. I barely survived, but in the midst of battle, I had a moment of enlightenment and broke through to the Martial King Realm. Even then, it was difficult to kill the beast. But when I finally did… I suddenly felt the gaze of over twenty identical creatures—each one five times its size."

A heavy silence filled the room.

"They were far stronger than I could even comprehend," Liu Quan continued. "Yet, for some reason, they did not attack me. One of them came forward and devoured the corpse of its fallen kin… and then, just as suddenly, they all vanished into the mist."

The other eleven figures were stunned.

"The mysteries of the Great Sea remain unsolved…" said a man in blue robes, the sect leader of the Wudang Sect, another of the Ten Great Sects.

Everyone in this room was a sect leader of the Ten Great Sects with the Righteous Alliance Leader and the Alliance Strategist.

"For now, our greatest concern remains the Heavenly Demon Sect," a bald man said calmly. He was the Abbot of Shaolin Temple, his tone steady and composed.

The Alliance Strategist stood up. "I've recently heard rumors from within the Five Empires. Although they appear to be friendly allies, there are whispers that they may be scheming to take control of the continent."

A deep, hearty laugh echoed through the hall. Zhao Kai, the sect leader of the Red Dragon Sect, a towering figure with a muscular build, smirked. "Those puny empires think they can rival our strength?"

Turning to Liu Quan, he declared, "Alliance Leader, just give me the order. I will have the Five Empires kneeling before us within ten days!"

"No, Zhao Kai." Liu Quan's voice was firm. "Do not act rashly and bring unnecessary trouble upon us. The Five Empires are by no means weak—their Ancestral Treasures are not to be underestimated. And for now, this is merely a rumor. They are still our allies, and if the time comes when they truly turn against us, we will deal with it then.

He swept his gaze over the room.

"For now, stay vigilant and focus on training. As the backbone of the Righteous Alliance, we cannot afford to fall behind."

A solemn atmosphere settled over the hall.

Back in the Shadowveil Jungle, Xian Yu was silently following the bandit leader to their base. The bandit leader was drenched in sweat, yet a sly grin remained on his face.

"Hmph, so what if you've reached the perfected stage of Peak Martial Warrior? Our boss is at the same level, and we even have others at the beginner stage of Peak Martial Warrior. Once we reach our base, don't think you'll be able to escape," he thought, trying to hide the dirty smile creeping onto his face.

Xian Yu noticed his behavior and smirked inwardly. "A bandit is still a bandit. I can't trust him. Let's see what surprises they have in store. More importantly, I need to uncover the secret of the Ebon Blade."

After following the bandit for about forty minutes, they arrived in front of a heavily guarded base, its high walls enclosing the area. The moment Xian Yu stepped inside, the bandit suddenly shouted, "Boss! This man killed everyone!"

Immediately, several guards rushed forward, standing at the ready, their swords and spears pointed directly at Xian Yu.

Xian Yu glanced around, a smirk forming on his lips. "Hmph, bandits… as cheap as always."
