The Kraken's massive tentacle hurtled toward MC with terrifying speed, slicing through the sea like a miniature storm.

"Damn it!" MC leaped backward, trying to dodge, but the creature was too fast.

BAM!

The tentacle struck the ocean's surface with earth-shaking force, sending towering waves crashing outward. MC nearly lost his balance—until he felt something strange beneath him.

The water beneath his feet… had solidified.

"I… I can stand on water?" MC stared down in shock.

The hooded man chuckled. "Of course. That is Poseidon's legacy. But merely standing on water won't be enough to defeat this creature."

MC gritted his teeth. He had to think fast.

"If I can stand on water… can I control it?"

He closed his eyes briefly, focusing on the strange connection that had awakened within him.

"Water is a part of me… the ocean bends to my will…"

Suddenly, something clicked.

MC's eyes snapped open. He raised his hand—and the water around him responded.

A massive wave surged forward, rising like a living beast ready to strike!

From the ship, Nami watched in astonishment. "He… he can really control the sea?"

The Kraken let out a low growl, sensing the growing danger. It lifted multiple tentacles at once, preparing another devastating attack.

But MC was faster.

"Shatter!"

With his command, the towering wave morphed into countless water spears, each sharper than a blade, and hurled toward the Kraken!

BOOM!

The spears tore through the Kraken's thick hide, causing it to shriek in pain. Dark blood oozed into the ocean, yet the beast refused to fall.

MC clenched his fists. "Still standing, huh?"

Then, a vision flashed through his mind—The hooded man, standing amidst a raging storm, commanding the sea with a single motion.

"The true heir of Poseidon… does not merely control water…"

MC's gaze locked onto the writhing Kraken.

And then—he smiled.

"I know how to end this."

Raising both hands skyward, he summoned the ocean's power. The water around him began to spiral, growing faster and stronger, forming a vortex of unimaginable force.

The Kraken thrashed, sensing something was terribly wrong.

MC stared directly into the beast's eyes.

"Perish."

In an instant, the vortex collapsed in on itself, triggering an underwater explosion of sheer destruction!

The Kraken let out one final, agonizing scream—before its body disintegrated into a cascade of water and shadow.

On the ship, Nami covered her mouth, stunned. "He… he actually won?"

MC stood atop the ocean, breathing heavily. The immense power flowing through him was exhilarating—yet terrifying.

"This… is no ordinary power…"

The hooded man smirked. "Now you begin to understand."

"Poseidon's power… is not just a gift. It is also a curse."

MC looked up, struggling to comprehend his words.

But before he could ask—The sky darkened.

Storm clouds churned above them.
